When I built the engine, I would paint the exposed screw heads silver so that they would blend in with the rest of the engine instead of looking tacky black. I think I did the same later on with the Reactor Exhausts because there was exposed black on silver
Remember building this and using gasket sealant to make look like real gaskets between the cylinder heads and blocks, heat shrink to make rubber water pipes with silver tape to make clamps. AND then covering the whole thing up so you never see it. But I know its all there just like a real one. Oil leaks and all.🤣
Man I pray that there aren't any missing pieces with the model I've got, cause I doubt customer service will be able to help me since it's been discontinued for a few years
Allo Wayne, got a new Mo' ah.! Always liked that design. Although the full-sized ones do look a bit shoddy in person. These days the square off stainless look is still ahead of us ( the Tesla Cyber truck has the same design vibe .. so... Back to the Future III will have to be in a CyberTruck)).

I'm doing the same thing. I repainted the chassis parts in grey primer, which matches the real car. And painted the screw heads in flat aluminum.
