    Lukashenko: " we must stop this war TODAY"
    AP : " some of these claims are not supported by us "
    That is Western journalism in a nutshell.

    Posting the full interview on RUclips is a very bold move for Western media if we compare it to BBC style, but why did you split it in two?
    But otherwise, thank you for at least minimizing the video editing and manipulation of the context (except for the interviewer's monologue sequence of questions, as if he had not heard the previous answers).

    Interesting when Lukashenko says here 4:25 " There's a war, people are dying". Isn't he supposed to say "Special Military Operation"? That's 15 years in prison in Russia if you get caught saying this.

    • @IvanIvanov-ey6de
      @IvanIvanov-ey6de 2 года назад

      Its a public secret that there's a proxy war goin on between Russia and the US/NATO in Ukraine. Currently the Ukrainian government is just providing manpower, and the equipment worth tens of billions is provided by the west. This war has been going on for decades after WWII, it just changes battlegrounds. Korea, Vietnam, Somalia, Afghanistan, the Middle East countries, Yugoslavia, and now Ukraine. Both the US and Russia were involved in those conflics and that's just the tip of yhe iceberg.
      Oh, and you don't get 15 years in prison for saying something like that. You might get 15 yers for killing someone, but the rest is BS being spoon fed by you own media.
      You think you're highlighting the most important part of the interview? Think again.

    Lukashenko calls Putler his 'older brother', meaning Putler must be respected. Then at 1:38 "we have set out to build a union state, but there should be equal conditions..."; Lukashenko is subservient to Putin but wishes he wasn't. He laid his soul bare with the remark justifying soldier war crimes at 6:24 "you know the reaction...". 15:22 "I knew Sadam Hussein very well... "; he realizes he could easily share the same fate. He repeatedly says "the war must be stopped", and then 37:14 "our western neighbors are dreaming of chopping off half of Belarus"; is his nightmare revealed. Bottom line is that sanctions are biting and he feels a noose tightening on his neck. He is also speaking for Putin when at 10:54 he says "if Joe Biden says...now lets stop it...everything would be over in a week". And at 19:00 "(Putin) doesn't want a global confrontation with NATO. 19:09 "take advantage of this...". They are both desperate!!!

    17:13 "the use of nuclear weapons is unacceptable". Of course it is; both he and Putin know this. NATO should provide air cover for Ukraine.
    When he says at 17:40 that a nuclear bomb would "rip the earth off its orbit"; he shows he doesn't 'study' quite as much as he brags he does...

    • @maxwellr447
      @maxwellr447 2 года назад +1

      Nato providding air cover is putring natk into the conflict, thus making a nuclear war much more likely. Your lack of interpretation of what he said about the effect of a nuclear bomb is just childish.
