So a couple of notes. I didn't mention the filler spells(ruin, glare, 123 combo) because they are functionally the same for all jobs with the exception of monk. Also I forgot to mention that cure 3 is targeted and is slightly stronger than cure 2.
i tried pvp for the first time yesterday as a sprout and was completely overwhelmed, your videos have definitely made it seem more approachable, thank you!! :)
Despite warrior being recommended for beginners, I tried it for the first time yesterday and I did terribly. I read the skill descriptions and thought I got it, but from your tips I can see that I really wasn't understanding the timing of when to use each thing. Thanks.
Glad to help, but something else you should keep in mind, especially when playing tanks, is you can only do so much. Don't let yourself fall into that trap of thinking your doing bad when in actuality your team just wasn't taking advantage of the opportunities you made.
my paladin is good for duels, but whenever i play in a group, either frontline or crystaline conflict, it seems like I get jumped and just fumble my controls lmao.
Machinist is pretty good for new players, Red mage is confusing on the surface but in practice it's not that bad, and ast/sge are somewhat more reliant on there team but both are still very powerful. For the most part of the jobs for cc are decently balanced for crystalline. As for frontlines as long as your playing something with good aoe you'll do fine. Picto is a new personal favorite.
No, they are not the same, mmos are good with lots of buttons and utility, but pvp sucks ass with that and is way better with fewer, more concise abilities, as such, that's how they made it, you can set them up in the wolves den
@@kurhooni5924 Point is more ff14's pvp would suck ass with standard pve skills, and they did good work making it simpler and more accessable, and more notably, way easier to balance

Love the pop-up graphics! Really adds a lot to the video! 10/10

That took me a good while
Still happens

What a coincidence that they happen to be the easiest in PvE too
Any honorable mentions? I dont really like any of those classes lol. But i do prefer spellcasters

@@anarcnamedjustin3451 i disagree, wow pvp is great imo (well was great some years ago IDK about now)
Think of it as tab-targetted overwatch

@@wumpratt That sounds HORRIBLE. I tried FFXIV pvp a bit like 4 years ago, and it had like 3 bars of abilities...... did they change it?
