@@Huddison Once you get it, the Velocityone will go to storage. I don't think I'm going to use my Velocityone anymore. The honeycomb XPC and the Bravo throttle are superior and outstanding products.
@@cvt8001 I didn't realize there's now another yoke that's compatible with Xbox. Glad I came across your comment! The Honeycomb XPC does have great reviews and seems to be a superior product especially with regard to the elevator control mechanism. I'm on my second Velocity One as the original had stiction in the pitch-up elevator control that, in working with TB support was still never cured. They replaced mine under warranty. I'm still in "break-in" phase on the second one and have fingers crossed pitch-up stiction does go away!!
Seems to be lots of different scenarios happening with this update. I was lucky enough to not lose all my v1 settings. But if I want to set Flap axis (0 to 100%) the bar that was there that shows you moving the for instance joystick l axis 7 has disappeared. Its the same for any axis that has a setting (0to 100%). Plus it still crashes, not so annoying as it loads faster. Also I had to reinstall the sim. As it would always crash back to dashboard as I was starting my flights. Thanks Huddison for all the work you put in to help us out. Much appreciated.
been lucky with my SU10 so far only had to put the aircraft back in and all settings were in the cloud I beleive however my graphic settings were default so used Simhanger and Huddison educational videos to get things all sorted.
Thanks for your usual great tutorial. Fortunately my update didn’t wipe out the basic settings but your info allows me to reset the basics to your more informed choice. As an aside i just received the new honeycomb xpc Alpha and the hub! Yes actually received this 2 days after release. I look forward to setting it up with the Xbox Series X! BUT The Bravo lights don,t work. A known HC issue. Blame MSFS/Aero! Sound familiar. While the lights don’t work the bravo does although the control assignment is hopeless. Unlike V1 Alpha,Bravo and Charlie show as one controller. None of the controls are labeled!!, HC US / Canada do not appear to be helpful ….yet… Time wil tell. I wonder HC Eutope or U will have any better support. I hope you have been able to purchase the new Alpha, Bravo and hub and give us the benefit of your experience please consider setting up a patron so we can donate to your $$ overhead. How best to contact you to cover some of my current discoveries.

I had an issue of SIP not working after FW update 1.3.3. I found that you need to -- 'activate SIP_FP001 in the Yoke´s settings'. Once I did that SIP works as advertised. I did not lose any of my profile settings yet (smile).......
THANK YOU for showing your sensitivity settings a big help to me. I think the factory setting were awfully sensitive making learning how to fly frustrating as a beginner.
Seems like I was really lucky (so far...) not to lose all of MY profiles. I have about 8-10 setups, grouped into plane types, plus a detailed keyboard profile. I would have been mightily p!55ed off to have lost them. The ability to back them up within the VF app would be great.
I did not loose my profiles, the yoke is fully functional but I have to disconnect and reconnect the VF1 form my pc to get the throttle and buttons to work. Hope that TB puts out a firmware update out pretty soon.

It would be great if you could do a similar YT for the new Honeycomb XPC Alpha, the Bravo (which currently is not fully operational with the Xbox …sound familiar Asobo?) and the Logitech pedals (which is better IMO than Charlie) but it’s brakes don’t work. I asked Honeycomb to do the right thing and send you the XPC Alpha, Bravo & hub! Your Xbox support would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Hudisson I have tried to follow this video to configure my new Turtle Beach Velocity One Flight but seem to have got into a right mess. First off I am using it on an Xbox Series X with MS Flight Sim. I have set it up with default Single Engine plane on the sim as well as the controller. The buttons are already assigned with settings in the controller but I am having problems either changing them or using them in the sim training mode. *Do you move the curser around the screen by having a keyboard or Xbox controller or a mouse also attached or in your video is your Velocity One Flight the only device connected to the Xbox S? *I tried using the standard Xbox controller (wirelessly) alongside the Velocity One Flight to access menus and settings that the Velocity One could not (?) but the combination of both connected devices played havoc with the things I tried to change/test/copy from your video. I am finding the Training Mode/ Control and Settings familiarisation guides in the FS ask for specific key strokes that are not active/available for the use requested, and cannot progress through actions in order to perform the tasks/events being requested by the narrator. Sorry to take up space and time on your RUclips video but would really appreciate any advice or tips etc., your video is excellent but it just didn’t work in the same way on my setup as it stands at the moment. I use a mouse with my Velocity One Flight, on my Series S. Are those the training missions that you are referring to? This will be easier to answer on our Discord & you'll also get pointers there from others who may have encountered the same issues.

The training I refer to is the “how to fly and use the controls and instruments” pre-flying narrated lessons. A female voice explains different actions to illustrate controls and settings inside the cockpit prior to actual flight.
@@TonyGator78 I use a standard USB mouse connected to my Series S. It does not conflict with the Velocity One Flight. I believe the training missions use their own pre-set controls scheme (I could be mistaken on this).

I don’t even have an option for velocity one flight when I go to controls options. There is only a controller option. I have the yoke set on the xbox option because that’s what I play on but I can’t even get the game to acknowledge it. Please help🙏🏽🙏🏽
Great video once again. I was lucky enough not to lose any of my bindings, but all my sensitivity settings were lost. And now I find if I try to go into the sensitivity settings before the picture of the velocity shows up on the right hand side it shows no data so I have to wait a good 20 seconds After the picture has shown up and then I can enter sensitivity settings

The only thing I suggest re the trim wheel is to endure that the cables are securely connected between the throttle & yoke - but I'll be sure you have already ascertained that.
I came aboard again after the update 10 but I am having a problem with the quadrant of the VF1 with the throttle. I have deleted the reverse but the power never reaches full but about halfway through it goes back to idle power. This occurs with my Flight Stick throttle setting also. Any suggestions or should I go to Turtle beach support? Thanks
I was trying to set up my system for the first time today. One question, when you go from pilot position over the nose to normal position and then use your POV again it takes you into instruments. Does this mean that the last POV down (Next insturment view) toggles you into instrument view and POV up from there takes you out of instrument view. The fact that there is a toggle instrument view command suggests that you need to toggle in and out. Presumably this means that this toggle is done automatically when POV'ing down (and up) from pilot view to switch you in and out of instrument mode (very confusing)
I'm not 100% clear on your question here David, but when I go move my hat down to select 'Previous Pilot Position', I then have extra settings (still under Camera/Instrument Views) for 'Previous Instrument View' (left hat) & Next Instrument View (right hat) - hope that clarifies this for you.
@@Huddison The issue is that, as you showed in your video, using the same POV for cockpit and instrument views means that, to avoid a conflict, the system has to switch between cockpit and instrument modes. There is a SET instrument view so I initially thought that you would have to use that to separate cockpit and instruments. However, it appears that continuing to clicking down from over the nose, through pilot position and then down on to the LH PFD switches thePOV from cockpit to instrument control. I have now set it up that my left hand POV controls it all, when in instrument view, clicking right on POV takes me through all the instrument views and clicking left repeatedly takes me back right thru the instruments to pilot view (I can also use the reset view - button 2 in my case). So the switching in and out of camera mode from and to instrument mode is done for you; Most of these settings are in the single engine piston profile except that next and previous instrument views are on HAT1 rather than the POV1. I simply re-mapped these to the POV1 and now have very intuitive control of the pilot and instrument views on the one button.
Can you do a video on the proper way to set throttles for twin engine planes? Mine was working fine out of the box, but then ...all heck broke loose. A few friends have had the same issue, where all button assignments were dropped from the profile. on the Xbox Turtle Beach yoke system...some profiles even disappeareed.
My preferred way of doing this is to set a button on your controller for 'COCKPIT/EXTERNAL VIEW MODE', Under 'CAMERA MODE SWITCHES' in Controls Options. It'll toggle you to/from Cockpit/external views.
I'm trying to set up the velocity one to my flight simulator on gamepass and it won't see that their is the velocity one that is available to use I can only control with my Xbox controller
Hi, To anyone who can help me. I am running Turtle Beach Controller.V1.33. All up to date has been working fine. As of yesterday my system gets stuck on SYNC when loading and goes no further. Have done all sim updates. Any ideas to get me past this point?? Quite a mystery. Thanks Adrian ( Australia)
@@Huddison No I mean the Sim won't load past the Syncing stage. It normally launches straight after a brief sync but now it's just the blue circle going round. I am logging in via XBox in the Microsoft store but no luck. I suspect this could be a server issue but it's been like this for 3 days now. All updates done so a little puzzling. Adrian
@@Huddison Managed to get up and running again in sim. The issue was an update that had not synced. One further question on the Turtle Beach controller. Currently I have to reinsert the controller USB after saving my settings before I can play. I note that there is 1.4 version showing on both yours and Mark's system. I can't get that . Is it only a developer option? It would be so helpful to have some extended profiles to cover other aircraft as the programming is so difficult even with your excellent videos. It does seem te be quite the troublesome update for many. I'll have to look into the flaps axis issues.

You should be able to copy the same setup from this video, on the PC.

You are best setting up different profiles for aircraft that have different engine configurations; like 3-4 engine aircraft.

It sounds like either a conflict or a wrong binding. I do have a channel in the Discord showing my V1F setup - or we can certainly help you in there.

My throttle lever only goes half way in the game. It doesn’t go all the way from 0 to 100%🤔

When I go in the plane all cockpit screens and lights are turned off where can I find where to bind this to automatically turn it all on

i did the update on my v1 and yea all my settings still good ,the only thing is my alt light stays on all the time . do you know why?

How do you jump back into the cockpit after selecting your buttons?

It's not mandatory to update it, but doing so will give you SIP panel functionality etc.
Does anyone know where the VNAV button is in the autopilot list. I want to map it to one of the buttons but can't find it.

Have you set the input mode to your platform (PC or Xbox) via the small screen on the front of the yoke?

Hi, To anyone who can help me. I am running Turtle Beach Controller.V1.33. All up to date has been working fine. As of yesterday my system gets stuck on SYNC when loading and goes no further. Have done all sim updates. Any ideas to get me past this point?? Quite a mystery. Thanks Adrian ( Australia)
Do you mean the Yoke gets stuck on SYNC?
@@Huddison No I mean the Sim won't load past the Syncing stage. It normally launches straight after a brief sync but now it's just the blue circle going round. I am logging in via XBox in the Microsoft store but no luck. I suspect this could be a server issue but it's been like this for 3 days now. All updates done so a little puzzling. Adrian

@@Huddison Managed to get up and running again in sim. The issue was an update that had not synced. One further question on the Turtle Beach controller. Currently I have to reinsert the controller USB after saving my settings before I can play. I note that there is 1.4 version showing on both yours and Mark's system. I can't get that . Is it only a developer option? It would be so helpful to have some extended profiles to cover other aircraft as the programming is so difficult even with your excellent videos. Do you mean set up all the settings from scratch? You can manually delete all the settings.

Make sure you have it set to the correct input mode (either PC or Xbox), on the front display.

How do i set it to xbox mode?
@@ahmedkhan4373 On the front panel, use your up down arrows to get to input mode; press the tick button and select Xbox and tick again.
