Awesome video as always Kenneth. The car lowered looks absolutely stunning. Thanks for sharing and for your support to AD Digital Solutions and our Officially Licensed BMW Motorsport products.
Any chance you might still have the links for these lowering springs and spacers? The ride height looks fire. Thanks for putting in the leg work to find the perfect fitment.
In that case you might want to look into the 18 and 15 mm spacers. If it's really flush. There's no rub so far. The only thing you'll need to do is definitely modify the fender liner like it's been said in the forums
Ayeee shoutout to Bryan! And the drop from the springs looks great bro! No more monster truck 😂🙌🏽👏🏽. Suspension should always be one of the first mods 💯
Ken, thanks for giving us another great video! The stance looks amazing and the car just looks sick. Looking forward to see what you do with coilovers!
That made a huge difference and I would almost sport springs since they sit so well. The fitment is so nice! I know they are temporary but at least you're car will look amazing at Bimmer Invasion.
Yeah I couldn't stand the ride height. It's been eating me up for the past couple months on getting it lowered. But I was hoping that I would get the coilovers sooner. I still have no word of when they're coming in haha
The more I look at Imola Red, the more Ken confirms that this will be my next build color hands down. Fitment is amazing with the spacers and springs, perfect setup for sure!
"The only thing I need to do now is get her a BMW" 💀 I feel that. Finally convinced my wife to get a 530i, not a M car, but a win! Anyways, car looks sweet on AST springs! Last mod I did before I sold. Fitment was pretty solid on it and ride wasn't compromised too much at all.
Yeah maybe one day she'll join the BMW family 🤘🏻. 530i is a great daily driver. Agreed, the AST gives the G80 an aggressive drop the fitment came out spot on!
I love the fitment. Do you get vibrations from those spacers? And did you trim/mod your fender liners? Just picked mine up last weekend and PCD and I have the same tires as you. Any recommendations?
@@TheDailyDriven thanks Ken. Hopefully I won’t get any vibrations when the 18mm up front. I have vibrations on my wagon with 20mm from Bonoss. They are on the higher side of the price and I thought I won’t have vibrations. That only happens at 80 mph.
Thank you! I am going with Macht Schnell spacers and so far there has been no issues. I know I had issues with them on my F80 but I had a store credit for them and gave them a shot again. Also this wheel setup is temporarily. I'll be getting wheels soon.
Curious why you prefer coil overs than springs? I’m in the market for one of these and interested in your personal perspective. Thanks and great video!
I'll be making a future video about that, Springs are definitely for certain people and coilovers are definitely more geared towards a specific type of owners.
You can try using a heat gun to melt the fins or cut them. I ended up cutting them out actually. You should be able to see how I did it in this video. (Should be towards the 1/4 of the video) ruclips.net/video/OnxesBapB1s/видео.html
Your car looks amazing brother what a huge difference the stance makes!!! And wow what a surprise, huge thanks to you for your F80 caliper paint review and the lead to Euromotive Performance, they did a great job on my M2C love the outcome...looking forward to seeing you in Orlando!!!
I bet you were pretty pricey in your car on there! When they told me your car was there again and worked on, I was like I got to show Michael's on the Channel. 🤘🏻
@@TheDailyDriven go big or go home right..lol thanks for your vids see you out at the Orlando invasion I will be in my 22 frozen dark metallic m3 comp xdrive first year out there
Reach out to them on Monday and inquire about the install. You can speak with Jonathan or Duwayne and mention me. They usually apply a discount to the people I send over there. I rather not mention pricing since it's not my business and at the respect of the business.
I dunno man, looked like Marlin was torquing your suspension bushings while not at ride height. Final torques on suspension better on a 4 post lift with car at ride height. The way he did it now you will have excessive wear on your rubber bushings. Looking forward to hearing how those AST's effected your ride quality.
In most cases "While some dealers would have you think otherwise, simply having an aftermarket part or modifying your vehicle cannot void your warranty. However, if that part led to something breaking on the vehicle, the dealership can deny your warranty claim"
The drop really looked good, the front gap in the stock ride height is killing me, our dealer is letting me drop it only with M performance springs only to not lose the warranty, the people on Bimmerpost forum is saying that with m performance springs its like switching to sport mode and that’s how its feels the whole time and sport is little more stiffer, i keep it on comfort mode like 95% of the time and sport only when the roads are 100% fine, sport plus is way to stiff for the roads, + the M part is too expensive for just springs, any thoughts on them ? Because i know you did a better research than me 😂
Well if you want to fully retain your warranty and have no worries then guess the M performance spring kit is an option. I've seen a few videos of the M performance spring kit installed in the front with never low enough for me. BMW will never make it lower enough, I assume it's because of functionality. You also have to know if you put another spring kit that only potentially voids your suspension warranty and not the entire car. This is most common : "While some dealers would have you think otherwise, simply having an aftermarket part or modifying your vehicle cannot void your warranty. However, if that part led to something breaking on the vehicle, the dealership can deny your warranty claim"
Very good video quality my friend.. the only thing I would recommend is reducing your spacer size. The wheels are protruding too far out, given the car a strange stance. I don’t like Kies motorsports just because they pass really strange information about Bmw and always recommend junk to people. However, I would have recommended H&R springs. As they’ve been producing suspension systems for decades. But seriously, the car looks excellent. I have an M4 in individual Imola. I would look for IND distribution and get future classic wheel spacers and let the wheels set a little bit more tucked in to give a car, a more grown-up appearance.
@Lors Amadey what are the first issue you could be is that your wheels are not balanced anymore. Having a spacer will amplify the vibrations if your wheels are out of balance. If that's still doesn't work then future classic makes a high-quality spacer that bolts up to the hub. More costly but it does a great job
Just got off the phone with the owner and there are willing to ship outside the United states. You can inquire about that by sending them an email. The discount code still work dp@add.solutions

What coilovers did you purchase?
I have G82 with AST springs, been debating on the spacer setup. I also lost the tire lottery, but man that 18/15 looks legit.
