I'm glad I could help. Sometimes you can use "adb reboot bootloader" then double tap on the bat and it'll work (I often need to unplug and replug my phone to get Fastboot to start). Which makes it even easier :)
In general, I would say so. My battery has lasted longer on MIUIMiX than Global. I've been getting on average 6 hours with heavy screen use (WQHD+, 120hz) and a good 10+ hours if it's more of a normal day use. I'm not able to say one way or the other on performance since the Mi 11 throttles benchmarking scores due to heating issues with the 888 on any ROM. So testing it doesn't really give any real answers.
This was back when you needed to upload via fastboot since the Mi 11 didn't have a good Twrp for 12. I made a video for TWRP before and it should work similarly
Usually it works for me if I have the phone in fastboot mode and unplug, plug it back in while it's waiting. If it still says waiting for device, then it's a problem with your fastboot drivers.
I would have to look at the files closer but it seems like there's a mistype in the script or it's trying to push a partition that your device doesn't have
I looked into it more and it seems that it's normal. Just give it time and let it flash everything else. Most scripts are written for multiple devices so there will be some errors on devices that don't use certain partitions.
Bro, thank you so much, I spent 2 hours looking for how to install via bat and only you helped, thank you again and good luck to you

Does it wipe your data when updating via fastboot?
No, as long as you choose the update bat. They might be back on twrp updates now
Friend, the new versions is not like your folder, now have to install via twrp

Can I just run the bat file without going through the "cd" thing?
Yes you can
It just sometimes wouldn't initiate that way for me so I made an alternative way for those running into the same problem
it says "witing for device..."
when i execute "windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat"
