Brilliant video mate, one of your best! I haven't been out at Swansea for ages, really need to pick a good weather day and go again. Would be great to see you out there and say Hi.
Mate beautiful session, I was up at Spencer a couple of months ago about 4 weeks after the flood, I used heaps of burley + scent, 6 hrs not even a tap. Subscribed.👍
No good about the chickens Luke I know the feeling I lost peach face parrots 🦜 to 43 degrees heat one year shattered me , Awesome very busy session thumping drummer too Far away Aaron would of love that session , thanks again legend just what I needed sitting in the room out of the pissing down rain 👌
Thankyou mate 👍, there was actually to many fish, i had to distract them with Burley to get bait down 😂 next time I will go deeper see if the size changes
@@huntersfishingadventures5324nice 😎 We got some good ones last Friday night just a bit further north in the 40s to 50 m burleying up, it certainly paid off on the Reds.
your soft plastic was just sitting on the bottom when it was in the rod holder. if you had it a metre off the bottom it would flutter up and down with the waves and have more chance of a hook up
Last winter, I experimented with herring oil-soaked chicken pellets (Red Mills brand) as a "groundbait" attractant for my pike fishing ... (bank-fishing but out around 80 yards in 20' of water) I soaked them overnight and used an RC baitboat to drop them out... I dropped out my deadbaits in a similar way over the pellets... despite fishing in the same (very local to me ) spot for several weeks I can't say I noticed any real difference tbh... I did learn one thing, the oil-soaked pellets refused to break down for DAYS !! ...as a sample dropped at the waters edge showed... I HAVE used them soaked with mollasses for my summer coarse fishing of tench, bream and roach etc and they work well.. they break down very quickly mixed like that... I considered trying the water-based mix next winter but on reflection it probably wouldn't attract prey fish into the area as they shoal-up in the deeper water spots and stay there for the winter... Interesting vid.. Sub & a like !! 🤗 From the Emerald Isle 😎👍☘🍻
without a doubt the biggest slimeys ive seen mate ... FYI, they go bloody nice grilled on the bbq whole, scored and sprinkled with salt over the fire ;)
@@markrigg6623 tell that to all the big bream the older generation catch down the Hawkesbury , wheat soaked over night with hot water & you guessed it , tuna oil.
With all the micro plastic in the Ocean I think a plastic bag is a better burly. Only joking I’m not WOKE and will never be. From a Aitutaki Cook Islander
@@huntersfishingadventures5324 Yes I bet you will be doing something completely different , this is a great strategical tactic , if you don’t plan your mission then the fish will have no chance , they will never see it coming.😉👍
Catching a drummer out there was a surprise but throwing it back was a bigger one! Arguably the best eating fish you caught all day....
30-40cm they're delicious. The big ones are shit better off letting the survivors breed on
Egg & breadcrumb drummer , mmm , yum , was bleeding like a stuck pig too , pardon the pun .
Wouldn't have survived anyway
@@haydendon9524 bleeding like a stuck p=g🐷, pardon the pun😉
Looks like he swallowed the hook by the look of the blood coming out of its gills..... doubt he made it
Great session. Enjoyed every minute

What the rig you have on the white rod, it that a lure?
without a doubt the biggest slimeys ive seen mate ... FYI, they go bloody nice grilled on the bbq whole, scored and sprinkled with salt over the fire ;)
Sounds delicious 👍
Drum are known to have worms. Maybe they would rather release it than kill it to find out it is full of worms.
Truth be told I already had 5 snappers in the Esky and it was way to much fish for me. I like to only take what I need for the week
Nicey done 👍 am gonna try that 20 kg burley this summer. Just 5 months till summer here
Chickens died of starvation 😂 forgot to put the feed out. Had to hide the evidence from the misso.
🤫😂🤣
Gold as!
I been using chicken pellets for ages. Fish love them
That was hectic M8 like going to the gym. Good bit of entertainment while my local bar is outa control. Good luck.
Haha awesome 🤙
What are the details of that white rod you were using? Has some good flex!
Veritas 7ft 6-10lb it's a good cheap rod what takes a beating 👍
I lived in Whyalla in the early 60's, (worked at BHP) Do you ever fish at Whyalla?
No but I heard it's where the big snapper are found. Would like to fish it one day
Looks like you got the only weather window of the month mate. well done
Haha not wrong Sunday was not nice. Thankyou mate 🤝👍
Back here in the states I am one that would take those Mackerel all day long over the others! Broiled with lemon and olive oil, not much finer.
Sounds delicious and probably the most nutritious of the fish I caught 👍
Sorry to hear about your chickens
Those slimies look like they have been going to the gym , taking plenty of supplements , maybe even some asteroids .
😂 tanks
How deep was the water where you were fishing?
20m deep
Spot on 👍
Bro needs a saw to open the bag
Have to try 20kg bag of pallets. Next time.. what area are u fishing

This reef is not even on the map so it's now called hunters reef 😂🤣
Oil doesn't dissolve in water!
It's not a real oil, it breaks down it's made to be used for Burley 👍
@@huntersfishingadventures5324 It's made to lighten people's pockets, pure and simple. Not "real" oil sounds just a tad comical.

Yeah bugger it. Taking 20 bucks worth of pellets and a litre of fish oil down the local jetty next sesh, send out a burley slick to Fiji.
