When Vader says **"I am not your failure"** , his face is covered in blue light as if Anakin Is accepting the apology from Obi wan . Then his face turns red , when Vader returns with darkness . This was so symbolising in a way that even though He's Darth Vader there's is still some Anakin left in him only those who really know him can take out .(Another instance Ashoka ) and Finally Master Qwai Gon for 5secs after two and a half decades
Overally what a great short series which greatly connects the events , also keeping the characters comically accurate . I will be not mad or sad if we don't get a season 2 .

What I like about the "Darth" retcon is that it makes the implication that after perceiving Anakin finally to be totally gone, he doesn't even dignify Vader by naming him, choosing instead to refer to him by the generic honorific of the Sith. In other words, "you think by turning to the dark side you've become more powerful but really you're just a nameless evil; stripping yourself of your 'identity' has stripped you of the recognition you so desperately crave"

@@Skywalkeristhechosenone in Episode 4 Obi Wan called Vader just "Darth" obviously that was because was just the first movie and many things werent thought like that term to describe a Sith but sounded weird in SW like a whole thing
Here was recontextualized that Obi Wan acepts Anakin's death, and Vader doesnt mean nothing to him just another genéric Sith lord, not his former fríend or worthy of his time
@@000mjd Ok. I just didn't think it was a retcon for me since I already knew what just calling him "Darth" meant. Several yrs ago Lucas explained that it was disrespectful toward Vader to say "Darth" and not his whole name.
Nothing was retconned, this was a great addition to the context but it changes nothing about the canon.

All this did was make for a greater reason Vader was so cautious ⚠️ in a New Hope's Duel

Mandolarian Luke appearance and Clone wars Ashoka escaping order 66 burying her comrades and Vader recollecting her saber from the site
Leia Gave Obi Wan his hope back, and Anakin telling him that he didn't kill him released him from the guilt he carried over losing his friend to the dark side.
Obi-Wan wasn't ready yet because He had to make Peace with Anakin... He was carrying All that guilt and hurt with Him All those Years... He let His Heart out with Anakin.. Apologized ... Accepted that His friend and brother was Really gone and let the past Go and Move Forward.
Lots of closure for Obi-Wan. Choosing love over fear of failure and fear of his past

Most intense and emotional finale, especially the battle between Vader and Obi Wan. Pararells between the exposed cracked helmet with Ahsoka and Obi Wan. Chills! Also we finally get Qui-Gonn!! Hoping for season 2!
If you noticed the scar in ROTJ at the top of Anakin’s head. It seems he got that from this fight with Obi Wan. If you notice it the cut when obi wan sliced his helmet
No, that scar has been on Anakin since the ending of Revenge of the Sith. If you look at the body prosthetic mold Hayden wore for Anakin’s burning that mark is already there.

A pair of unlucky stormtroopers are inhabiting graves marked for Owen and Beru Lars. The rest of the stormtroopers probably said, "Screw this, I don't get paid enough to die in this heat."
I mean when u think about it, if nothing happend they would probobly just have been shot dead and that was it, but they were burned to the fkn bones, they must have made personal for that squad of stormtroopers, wouldnt be surpriesed if they capped a few of their buddies and the rest just took out their anger on them buy burning them alive

I love the whole squad whether reviewing at the bar or home. I used to work in a bar with a similar vibe to yours, with live music and it was just fucking awesome! since then the bars have all been taken over by companies who have took the life out of them and made them the same. Our cellar doors were a Doctor Who Tardis/ police box. It was called The Broken Doll. It’s on my bucket list to get to meet lot as you look like my kind of crowd!! Keep up the fantastic work guys and what an epic finale, they managed to stick the landing!!!!

I really enjoy seeing younger generations enjoying Star Wars too.

Excellent finale. Legit cannot understand the hate for the show. These last two episodes have solidified this show for me as the best they've done, better than Mando and Book.
It ended strong but the first four episodes were an inconsistent mess.

What makes this so powerful is that Vader released Obi Wan’s guilt.
9:28 A retcon, but a good retcon! A retcon adjusts, ignores, supplements or contradicts via a subsequently published work and in this case, the Kenobi show supplemented and further fleshed out ANH! I don't mind the existence of retcons, so long as they are done right and in good taste.
I love how their faces change from smiles to frowns at the end.

5:03 They're trying to tell a story. In isolation, the story doesn't care if you've seen it's past or future already. The story is in place to serve the main purpose of further fleshing out the narrative, answering previously unanswered (or never asked) questions, while filling in the gaps as much as possible. And we simply get to explore those fleshed out narratives and gaps, as a result. Obviously no one will be worried, that's kinda unavoidable no matter what show or movie you do that utilizes existing and established characters. But there's also plenty of new characters to worry about while in addition going through yet another emotional rollercoaster of a journey with these beloved characters and that's all that matters, at the end of the day! :)
I feel like after GoT people stopped understanding this. They always have this need for a duel to have lives at stake.

Best reaction to “hello there”.
While there has been some silly "uh wat" stuff in this series that scene between Vader and Obi-Wan is some of the best Star Wars Disney has put out.
Also while Reva took a lot of shit, her full arc is actually pretty good. The only issue I have is she really handled being shanked TWICE by a lightsaber (once as a child) with no outside healing like a champ.
I mean that’s not that strange, being stabbed by a lightsabre is actually less dangerous than being stabbed by a real sword since there’s no bleeding, and that even in real life is very survivable, being so many people get stabbed, shot or impaled on things in real life and live
The grand inquisitor says in part 5 that “revenge does wonders for the will to live”. Revenge is what kept her alive when she was stabbed as a child, and revenge kept her alive here again. Same thing happened with Maul.

@@fripp2542 -- He was stabbed through the stomach, which results in a slower, painful death as his other organs fail. Had he been stabbed adjacent to the stomach + spleen, as it appears Reva was, he more-than-likely would have survived.
