EDT is wayyyyy better! Tried both EDt and EDP on skin. Half an hour later I was addicted to EDT while EDP smelled more woody less sweet and addicting. But EDP would sure last longer. Smell wise no competition. EDT >>> EDP
2 girls asked me if i was wearing a girls perfume with the EDP. I think the vanilla makes it lean feminine. EDT on the other hand got me compliments alot.
The EDP is a winner for me. It's a rich, creamy vanilla, grapefruit, suttle wiffs of suede makes it all that alluring. On the opening I get wiffs of Tommy Hilfiger True Star mixed with the original DNA of Prada Luna Rossa Ocean EDT. Really nice.
it is very good perfume , the edt lasts 5-6 hours in summer and i live in Greece... projection is also very good . Just buy it .EDT IS MUCH BETTER FOR SUMMER DAYS . The EDP is also good but i think for summer EDT is perfect@@transpyro1353
I finished my Luna Rossa Black last winter; just got Ocean EDT and it’s very nice for our hot summer. I’m thinking of possibly buying the Ocean EDP for the cooler months in fall and winter.
I really like the edt, it has that Prada clean vibe. I spray it heavy when I wear. I stopped at Macys last week specifically to spray on the edp when I was out of town. Hot, humid, southeastern U.S. day. First, I don’t understand why Prada called it Ocean, it doesn’t smell much like the edt to me. Second, it was a beast! Especially on a hot day. I ended up scrubbing it off several hours later, it was still projecting hard after 4 hours. I am glad I didn’t end up blind ordering it like I planned. I will probably enjoy it in cool weather, but I wouldn’t wear it for many months.
Thanks for sharing! I love the EDP but yeah, not sure why they chose that scent to go as a flanker in the 'Ocean' line.. Ocean sounds like freshness, which the edp is not really all about.
I actually like the EDT better. However I barely detect any iris in it. That's the whole reason I blind bought it. I scored a 5 oz bottle for $75 which is a nice deal regardless but man not much iris to me nor caramel. But this is a pleasant mass appealing fragrance that I will rock this spring.

Hi! So subjective. I´ll be using it for summer night outs for sure as I don't think it's too heavy or too sweet for warm weather. Wear it if you enjoy it.
The EDT is a bit lighter and fresher and will give a fresher feeling than the edp. I don't think the EDP is that heavy though but the edt is definitely the one that's a bit more versatile and fresher.

They both smell very different. I’m wondering Prada has chosen “Ocean” as name for edp cuz it’s absolutely doesn’t smell like that. It smells fantastically but has nothing in common with edt version in my opinion
Thank you! They are quite different and the new EDP is really for someone who loves the scent of vanilla and enjoys ambery, balsamic and super smooth scents 😊
If you want freshness then the EDT will be a better choice since it does have a bit of freshness to it. The EDP lacks that freshness and it's a fragrance with more depth to it. I've worn the epd during warmer days as well though, as I don't think it's a heavy kind of fragrance.
@@rottenrebels true edp flanker. tiny bit spicier but has the same type of red spice/cinnamon mixture. Less sweet (no vanilla/tobacco) darker/mature take (adds resins, woods, a touch of leather) it’s very nice. EDT I feel projects more but they last about the same. Im actually debating which to buy at the moment lol might need ur vs to push me in a direction haha.
@@rottenrebels it’s hard to say. I think I like edt opening more as i believe it will draw more attention but for the dry down the edp is more interesting and dark and not the typical sweet/spice combo. So I’m slightly leaning edp for uniqueness in a big collection.
I like the EDT more, EDP was confused mix of fresh opening and serious dark dry down. I don't like Perfumes like this and Empasador that dont have clear character.
Hello guys, love your channel and your content and also your review on fragrantica are always on point. I love the edt and I am a huuuuge fan of all the Prada Luna Rossa & Prada l'Homme line. I owe all of them but decided to not go for this one. Smooth Vanilla? Yep, done well also, but nothing, seriously nothing new or mind blowing. Is not this kind of smell that you get on people and you remember. For me black is still the best. If you love vanilla my advice is to try whispers in the library of Maison Margiela, I received unexpected compliments with that, is a woody, sweet, "waxy" vanilla.

There's no shortage of Vanilla focused scents and vanilla is part of so many fragrances, but like I mentioned in the video, it's amberiness and that smoothness really makes it stand out compared to a lot of other scents. I actually prefer it over Luna Rossa Black 🤩 I know I've tried all Maison Margiela but I can't remember them all.. Will definitely try the one you mention! Thanks for the suggestion!

The perfumer is Jean-Claude Ellena, the legend behind Terre d'Hermes or Declaration. Vetivera is the best vetiver scent I have ever smelled and then there is Ambra worth checking out. Since I know you always read comments id definitely a perfume's house to look at! Thanks for your answer and have a great weekend!
I don’t know why people say there’s caramel in the edt. There is no caramel even Prada says there is no caramel. The edt smells like lavender fields, suede and iris with musk. The bergamot opening smells like clay

They are both so good and very close in how I’d rank them. 8.3 for the OG but 8.5 for the EDP.

I prefer EDT that's because I like fresh smell. EDP dry down is powdery vanilla, so it reminds me of baby powder or old lady powder smell.
