EDPI to me, seems more wearable at any time of the day. It’s a great scent for 30+ year olds. EDP can be more youthful at times to me. Both are incredible.
I didn't have any of the Y line but decided on the "Intense" based off the reviews (since I'm over 30 and iam not looking for the sweetness). I must say, it's exactly what I wanted! Super smooth and sensual but still fresh enough to be used anywhere/anytime. I'm glad I got this over any of the others

I think the EdP Intense is more versatile and better for everyday use, while the Le Parfum might be more special and not as versatile. If you have a small collection, I'd say get the EdP Intense. Y EDT 2017 was my signature (and only) fragrance until I got Y EDP in 2020, and I wore that everyday for 2 years until I started collecting. I don’t wear those 2 Y fragrances much anymore since my collection has grown. They also remind me too much of that previous time in my life. I tried the Y Le Parfum last year and it was too sweet for me, so I sold that. This Y EDP Intense has my attention for sure!

Thank you! I think both Y EDP and Sauvage work fine. Sort of fresh and energizing woody scents 👍 Y EDP Intense has a slightly more mature feel to it. Even though Sauvage is incredibly mass appealing, I do think Y EDP is even more of a likable scents. Can't go wrong with any of them and like always: go with the one you enjoy the most! 😊

Hi! I think I touched on that in the video. The original Y EDP has a slightly lighter feel to it so that one will most likely be a better choice for most (who are looking for a slightly more fresh kind of scent). I go with about 6-8 sprays for a decent scent cloud that lasts for a few hours and about 12-15 when I want it to project a lot more and last a bit longer. Always try and see what works for you.

I do 5 for mont blac explorer my favorite scent and 5 with the ysl y edp intense and my mom said it was so overpowering and gave her a headache but my friends loved it and said they have to keep there gf away from me so idk what to do now.

Hi! I have no idea what you smelled and which one it was, but to my nose the original Y EDP is a bit sweeter and it has that fruitiness to it which sort of enhances the impression of sweetness. The new Y EDP intense is not as sweet to me. Scent is subjective though and like Sandra mentioned in the video, even though on paper, Y EDP has more 'warmth' and 'sweetness", to her the new EDP intense comes off as a bit warmer and sweeter. 😊 Please share which one you liked the most if you end up trying them again 😁

Both the Y and Y intense new revisions are 💩. I smelled once back in 2021 but that time I've already got few D&G and Hugos so skipped on that but now that I wanted to go for a new one, the intense synthetic chemical smell just killed some of my nose cells. Both the longevity and the sillage is also 💩, didn't even last from the store to the parking lot. Anyone votes for the new release of Y and Y intense clearly doesn't know perfumes and fond of cheap colognes!
Great takes from both of you. Both of you are rock stars! I still say Y EDP is mass appeal and versatile king. Le Parfum gives it a run for its money but suits fall best imo. Edp intense opening might be the best for me but overall little flat to me.
I got a travel size of the YSL Intense and to Macy's a few werks later to get a big bottle. I purchased the EDP parfum and didn't realize there was an intense version until a few days later. Now im stuck with the EDP, which is fine, but ill be going back for the intense. I like the intense better.

I just bought the New Y Intense, own the OG Y EDP since 2020, also bought Y EDT. I can safely say I'm huge fan of the Y line. :) I think the EDP is more of a mass appealing scent compared to the 2023 Intense release. Intense is more for those, who already own /or know well men's blue Fragrances. This is more refined, grown up, more professional version of Y EDP. It is easily a great office scent, the best, most modern, right now i would say beside Dior Homme 2020. A safe blind buy, especially if You are into fragrances and would like to leave behind the playful vibe of OG Y EDP. But the og is still an amazing scent though. :)
I finally tried YSL EDP and YSL Le Parfum and although there was similarities, I preferred the EDP as I found Le Parfum came off with a slightly old lady ish faint smell. So now I will have to go back to Sephora and try the latest.
@@rottenrebels So I went back to Sephora last night and compared the EDP on one wrist with the intense on the other and now I understand your dilemma. They both are really good and I can say I still smelled both on my wrists the next morning with the intense being stronger. That being said I still think I prefer the EDP version for whatever reason it still seemed slightly fresher or brighter than the intense and neither one came off old ladyish.

Without the Apple note the Y EDP intense is toned down compared to the EDP. Similar DNA, but softer, and more subtle to my nose. I own the EDP and have tried the EDP intense, and I prefer the EDP.
Idk why, but my nose seems to be a bit off. Y intense smells absolutely awful, there's something in there that I hate. I really like y edp even though it's youthful, meaning it's not an everyday scent for me but a great one for sure. I've had that with other fragrances as well that I can't remember off the top of my head
I just came from the store from buying these two and I wanted to confirm that I wasnt crazy so thank you. I would wear intense at night and original during the day. I do prefer intense if I had to pick but personally I'm glad i have both.

Hello. I think Ysl edp is more summer fragrance than Ysl edp intense. Yes both of them are wearable for all seasons but Ysl edp intense more suitable as a winter fragrance. Bottom line you must have both of them. It's easy to adjust on the seasons

I tried Intense once, didn't catch me, but I will try again. The Ys are basically not my favorite scents. I bought the EdP in summer just as a versatile any-time fragrance, that smells good during heat. Personally, I am not crazy about them. In comparison, I like the LP more than the EdP, but it is less versatile.
I tested Yves Saint Laurent Y'Elixir today and I want to say that I don't like it. I prefer EDP, it's gorgeous. I wanted to try EDP Intense but I didn't have the opportunity :(

I go with about 12-15 sprays when I want a larger scent cloud and when I want to increase the longevity a bit. This is not a 'beast mode' scent so even with 12-15 sprays I don't fill up a room or anything. This is how I spray for it to perform and smell in the way I want to. Always try and see what works for you.

They are all bangers I couldn’t just have one I had to get the whole line but I couldn’t pick between the 2 I love them both so much I will say in the high heat the edp intense is much better the edp can become cloying but it doesn’t bother me both can easily be worn year round and they have the performance to be just as good in the winter edp intense smells like a more mature less sweet cross between the edp and le parfum

I finally tried YSL EDP and YSL Le Parfum and although there was similarities, I preferred the EDP as I found Le Parfum came off with a slightly old lady ish faint smell. So now I will have to go back to Sephora and try the latest.

@@rottenrebels So I went back to Sephora last night and compared the EDP on one wrist with the intense on the other and now I understand your dilemma. They both are really good and I can say I still smelled both on my wrists the next morning with the intense being stronger. That being said I still think I prefer the EDP version for whatever reason it still seemed slightly fresher or brighter than the intense and neither one came off old ladyish.

@@blogityblah have a 60ml bottle of EDP for sale. I got the biggest bottle available (200ml) since I instantly fell in love with it. The 60ml was sprayed less than 8 times. (Yes I literally bought the biggest bottle 3 days after only owning the 60ml)

The intense I prefer because it’s more appropriate for my age (imo). The apple note threw me off when I first tried EDP. Still waiting for that ADG parfum video to drop. Everyday I’m refreshing the feed 😂

im younger so it smells boring and very generic. big let down for me. i love all the other Y bottles tho, i have em all. i sold the intense 2 days later after i got it. its not worth 100$+ imo

Without the Apple note the Y EDP intense is toned down compared to the EDP. Similar DNA, but softer, and more subtle to my nose. I own the EDP and have tried the EDP intense, and I prefer the EDP.
Love these 2 but for my age I absolutely loved the parfum version so much more

Idk why, but my nose seems to be a bit off. Y intense smells absolutely awful, there's something in there that I hate. I really like y edp even though it's youthful, meaning it's not an everyday scent for me but a great one for sure. I've had that with other fragrances as well that I can't remember off the top of my head

I just came from the store from buying these two and I wanted to confirm that I wasnt crazy so thank you. I would wear intense at night and original during the day. I do prefer intense if I had to pick but personally I'm glad i have both.

Hello. I think Ysl edp is more summer fragrance than Ysl edp intense. Yes both of them are wearable for all seasons but Ysl edp intense more suitable as a winter fragrance. Bottom line you must have both of them. It's easy to adjust on the seasons
I like them both, but i prefer intense for sure. It feels a little better blended and has a certain character that feels more well rounded.

I tried Intense once, didn't catch me, but I will try again. The Ys are basically not my favorite scents. I bought the EdP in summer just as a versatile any-time fragrance, that smells good during heat. Personally, I am not crazy about them. In comparison, I like the LP more than the EdP, but it is less versatile.

CAHSEE is a wicked scent throughout the year and edition blanche is stunning one. CAHSEE is in my ‘everyday’ fragrances video. Unfortunately Expensive like most chanels are but it’s just so good 😊

How many times i should spray the intense version
I go with about 6-8 sprays for a scent cloud that's a bit smaller. This lasts for a few hours.
I go with about 12-15 sprays when I want a larger scent cloud and when I want to increase the longevity a bit. This is not a 'beast mode' scent so even with 12-15 sprays I don't fill up a room or anything.
This is how I spray for it to perform and smell in the way I want to.
Always try and see what works for you.
On me the intense is a monster on my dad it doesn't perform ig im lucky😭

They are all bangers I couldn’t just have one I had to get the whole line but I couldn’t pick between the 2 I love them both so much I will say in the high heat the edp intense is much better the edp can become cloying but it doesn’t bother me both can easily be worn year round and they have the performance to be just as good in the winter edp intense smells like a more mature less sweet cross between the edp and le parfum
