- Michelle and I take a day to explore the area in and around Brooksville, Florida. REally cool stuff to see around here and with it being so close to Halloween the ghosts and ghouls were out in full force this day. Had a wonderful lunch at a local place that serves all kinds of hot dogs!

So interesting!
We enjoyed the tour and exploring the area. Thanks for watching
During Hurricane Irma in 2017, Chinsegut rented out the cabins that you almost showed for $50 per room per night. My friend and I both lived in mobile homes which were mandated to evacuate, so we rented 2 rooms there. They even opened up the dining hall for food in the am. I am not sure what the cabins and dining hall are presently used for. By morning time after the overnight hurricane, there were some downed trees across the roads. We had to wait for the trees to be removed from the road in order for us to exit. The view is really magnificent on top of that hill. I think you can view 3 counties. (Don't quote me on that though). It was a memorable time there even though it was a stressful hurricane event.
Thats a really interesting story, so glad we visited the site. How was the food?
@@Marcs-Adventures We actually got to the hall too late, although it was the first time I’d have cucumber infused water. Now addicted, lol.
Actually I do remember seeing Or tasting different quiches
I recommend everyone to visit Chinseget Manor House north of Brooksville and the May Stringer Museum downtown. Ghosts abound and local cemeteries spooky. Luigi Restaurant and Mali Cauli Bistro are the best foods eateries of all. The 1885 Train Depot is a fantastic historic experience. Brooksville is small but big on sights and events! Ask anyone in Brooksville if they have seen Jessie Mae?❤
It's an awesome town, love visiting.
Excuse me. I have a question for a northern boy. What the hell is in the peanut trailer?.... definitely going with the sauerkraut and mustard it dog... and I think my bathtub is higher than that mansion...lol... great video thanks for sharing
Boiled peanuts! I knew they were a "thing" in the south but never partake. I tried them last year and they are actually really good (if you like green bean taste)
You think your bathtub is higher than the Mansion LOL

One of the most darkest towns in the south for its history and slave plantations. I was born there in 1978. Its a beautiful town and very country.
