The Riveter Bike Park Double Black Diamond and the Importance of Dirt Jumpers near Asheville, NC

- I have always wanted to see what it would take to clear the Riveter Bike Park double black diamond line and luckily on today's adventure we run into a subscriber to the channel that was more than happy to help us film his first attempts! I was struggling with my Giant Reign on the jumps so luckily I was able to borrow a Transition PB&J (Air Wolf) from @Biking with Bobo ! It was my first time ever putting a leg over a dirt jumper so I had my work cut out for me! Ending the day watching the regulars throw down for the camera was quite the treat!

Even though it seems tougher hitting the peaky line on those table tops will help you get over them much easier than the low line
I did the same thing, I rode at the riveter for a while and gave a DJ a try. Wound up buying one, then selling it 6 months later after discovering learning to jump on this 42 yr old body is just not a great idea. I need the squish. But I totally understood the reason for them, but man they're a weird bike to ride.
Also wanted to add you're a much more patient man than I am with some of these comments.
Lol I definitely felt like I was doing another sport all the sudden with how different the bike felt!

Great video! Is anything clearable on a 27.5 full sus? And do they have dj rentals?
They rent Dj’s for 25$ and yeah my full suspension was able to clear some stuff but it was a lot of work!

Dirt jumper is a LOT of arms and legs strength.

Were you pedalling? Seems like you might have gone faster if you'd, you know, pedalled!
The trail was running slow like I said in the video. The inside line is tight and hard to get pedals in but the outside was just windy and wet in the morning. I had run the outside before and normally don’t need pedals after the wood bridge step down. I’d love to see you post a video showing me how it’s done though! I checked your channel to see how I am supposed to be riding but just found you playing video games?
