Hi everyone! Just to keep you all in the loop:
1) We get many of these devices prior to launch and usually with new tech , the usual games are not updated to handle the latest stuff way before the device's release
2) RE:Village works fine with no issues! Thing is that it is optimised via Apple Arcade for Apple devices and it makes sense to play the games everyone plays on the daily!
3) PUBGM's settings is something the community has always asked for across the board, even on PC we play with the lowest settings so we can spot enemies hiding in foliage a lot easier!
1)Yep I was gonna say that PUBG Is not yet optimised for the newest ipad it will easily run 120 fps in the newest update . So I suggest once it is optimised you play it again .
2) WARZONE Mobile is the worst optimized game so I have lost hopes for it .

Agree, no Resident evil 4 remake, village, Death Stranding eg M1 and above locked games… these games can be played on pre M1 chip and work fine

if you had to guess, what was the fps like in both multiplayer and br for warzone? also, if you do something like this again, change it to the max graphics (peak) just so you can truly stress the hardware. thanks!!
Unfortunately because we got it before launch the higher graphical settings weren't available! If they were we would've used them!
How is the speakers compared to the old iPad pro/macbook?
At 3:09 and 4:29 the stutter is more than likely just compilation stutter as a result of loading in the assets/effects for the first time. It's also why they're smooth after that.
After either the next iOS update or app update you'll probably run into the same issue again the first time any effect is loaded.

but on Android, having to compile all the shaders before entering the game is a huge L too (hoyoverse games on android has to compile shaders before entering the game, but still having minor stutters everytime)
But on iOS the compiling process is done while playing, and the cost is one-time minor stuttering.
not to mention on iPad genshin/honkai renders at 2K meanwhile 720p and 1080 on android
I want to you see a benchmark done on Death Stranding, Resident Evil games, to put device in a really hardcore test

Most of the people playing on competitive level would buy 11” iPad Pro , just easier to hold and using gyroscope all the time and 2 fingers claw not an option for us😅
60 FPS at PUBG currently, so we don’t really know it is hold at 90 or 120 fps . iPad Pro with M1 and M2 at 90 FPS getting hot very quick, dimming the screens and throttling the CPU .

We got this way before release so that option wasn't available at the time!
Can you try Warframe mobile also? One of the levels, called Duviri, is very taxing on many apple devices and even outright crashes on low-end iphones.
Will you test things out on the new iPad Air 6 too?

Curious what the teleport time in Genshin looked like, since it’s a pretty big aspect of the gameplay when grinding (it takes sooooo long on my PS4)

Unfortunately because we got this before release (like we do with most devices) that wasn't accessible to us! Till they update the games for the the M4 chip down the line , 60 is is our best bet officially.

That's because the PUBGM community has repeatedly asked for these settings! We take feedback for each game and move forward from there! From a gameplay standpoint ,even on PC , having the graphics down to reduce foliage to practically nothing makes it easier to get a bead on enemies
Call of duty has an Epic graphics option that can be downloaded and its heavy on the M2 ipad.
in warzone mobile under m4 they didn’t add peak graphics from it, it will really strain the ipad

Why wouldn’t you set WZM at its highest graphics mode to test it? Unreal. The M2 iPad Pro can run WZM at 120 FPS on the ‘high’ graphics settings so testing the M4 on the same setting accomplished zero. On ‘peak’ graphics the M2 struggles to maintain 60 FPS. THAT is what you should have tested.
Warzone mobile seems to have removed the higher graphical setting all together. As seen in the video you can select anything higher than what he chose
