Pretty sure the blue was as you said, orange is because RF was a "variant" who didn't even have a timeline that would put him through the cycle of his grandfather paradox like with og RF, because variant RF and Barry "pruned" made it so that flashpoint timeline had never happened, so no cycle to bring him back like in season 2 of the flash

My idea is that white/blue is timeline correction. Orange is paradox deletion. Green is temporal correction. Yes the hell weapons give a green color but the temporal zone the legends stay in is too. Grace Gibbons’ dusting wasn’t supposed to be seen as a different type of paradox but it was just an update on an old effect. Sort of how the original lightning from season one’s front half was similar to After effects’ lightning. When I say timeline correction I mean, the timeline is automatically course correcting to the new set timeline that the show has now been set in. Paradox deletion is like timeline correction but when the paradox is more troublesome, for instance Reverse Flash evading Black Flash so he stays alive in the new timeline. Each lightning colour represents the multiple connections speedsters can have with the speed force. Yellow/orange is positive, red is negative and blue is artificial.
I’ve got a question about time loops or things like them. For example in the comics when thawne keeps going back in time to kill/erase people who would stop him from becoming the reverse flash, if those people would stop that from happening, then how is there a reverse flash to go back in time and erase them?

Green for non-speedster, non-meta, people, remember green is the natural color for time (the temporal zone) in the Arrowverse
