As always, very useful and clear slides. Now I am only lacking some examples for which units certain heroes can take into their regiment. Also, sad that allies are gone. They added some flexibility, fun and flavour to listbuilding.
Thanks for the vids. Starting to get excited. My period of mourning for my BoC is over and I'm working on getting my Hedonites ready for the table. Although I am starting to think maybe I'm a glutton for punishment 😂 At least I'm in the right place?!
I hope by now you've had a chance to see the pitched battle profiles. It will say if it has compulsory regiment options... at the time it wasn't public so I couldn't say too much
The change to enhancements is going to be very helpful. Having to make one character the general to make certain units battle line, but then not being able to give a different character a command trait was the worst. This is more like 40K. 👍
Yeah i agree, the General section could come up with weird situations. Always grinded my gears when a legendary hero wasn’t general, like Archaon being bossed around by a pleb
No not really… i guess the only downside is that your opponent can charge them and use that movement to engage your army. Not a strong argument against taking them
Yes, very sad about the lack of allies. Takes a lot of flexibility, fun and flavour out of list building. As for Gotrek, I suppose he (and a few other, similar units) get special rules that let them be used in other armies without needing any core rules for allies.

That’ll all come with the pitched battle profiles. If you made a guess in your own army, you’re probably 90% correct
Great! Thanks for the clear, fast content. Im sure my team will be watching these repeatedly!
Thanks Chad 🤘. Hopefully it wasnt too fast

Mate it sounds like you are perfect for Slaanesh
Nice points are looking good for Gitz based on this list!
Hey Coach how can I tell if a Hero has compulsory regiment options? is it just blank in the field in his battle profile? Thanks man!

So it says pick one Faction terrain piece, what would that mean for skaven or sylvaneth? Would they only get one gnawhole or tree to start?
With Skaven that is correct, and their battle trait allows them to continue adding gnawholes to the board
Really hoping Snarlfang riders aren't only able to be taken as an auxiliary unit
I could have put it into Skragrotts unit in this list example. Its not auxillery only unit.
1:50 is that a peek at the battle formations of the gobbos

How do i build a big waagh list?
Cheers mate
Cheers mate to you!
So there's no downside for including endless towels spell or krondspine?
The only downside is that you can pick only one of the manifestation lores. But each army gets one for free.

5047 Daugherty Run
can there be multiple heroes with warmaster keyword?
Yeah there can be. In this case you still just need to pick one of them as your general
We needed an example of how a hero indicates what units are allowed in it's regiment...
That’ll come in the pitched battle profiles that i’m unable to show at this point but won’t be too far away.
I sacrifice this comment upon the pyre of supporting the great bearded coach.
Does this mean can only take one warmaster?
You can take multiple warmasters. One just has to be the general, you choose if you have 2
No more tripling unit sizes, then?
That’s correct. You can only reinforce units once per unit. Who knows if that’ll change somewhere in the future
we can have more than one Regiment of renown? 🤔
I don’t recall seeing a limit on RoR but i’d have to relook at the rules
@@AoSCoach there is a limit to one
can a giant be taken as a mercenary type thing again?
We’re not sure yet. We’ll need to see if they are treated as a Regiment of Renown
I miss your face in the videos.
Awwww... my face is in the discussion videos like the Skaven one
Damn i didnt read 4th edition in the title.
But aren’t you glad you watched it
0:30 not as easy as spearhead :)
No its definitely not as easy as Spearhead
So no allies 😢
Oh?! GOTREK??
Yes, very sad about the lack of allies. Takes a lot of flexibility, fun and flavour out of list building.

Gotrek might be a Regiment of Renown? Lets wait and see
Thank god imo haha
Good
You're not my dad?!?!!!
Maybe I am? Should I take a 23&Me test?
the clammy dank.... seriously GW?! I.. yea.. thats just hilarious
You don't like it? 1 phone call to GW and they'll likely ignore my call but we could try to change it
