Listen to the words of "Things Have Changed" & stop to think about them. The songs Dylan did in the Vietnam era, which I grew up & participated in, are not relevant in today's even more screwed up world.
I was young and dumb in the army shooting at human shaped targets popping up at 50, 100 yards away when I came to the abrupt realization I was against everthing it stood for. Only later in life did a girlfriend say you need to get into Bob Dylan. Currently reading my fourth book on Bob Dylan called, Behind the Shades. All hail Bob Dylan!
Same I've come to realize that the army isnt fighting for america put primarily and how much of a group on the world the bankers and corporations have nowadays... everything boils down to profit. Follow the money and you see the interest our leaders have in war. All of em are knee deep in the military industry.

People were for the most part more grown up at age 2o in Dylan's day than a 20 year old today. With all of the technology today there are more distractions and trivia that keep people from reading, thinking, and growing up

The Times They Are A Changin' was the first album I bought - I played that album to death and knew every word on it - BUT I never heard this song before today. That album I bought in South Africa and this song was NOT ON IT. I feel cheated now in a very very significant way.

My Father was born in 1918 while His Father was fighting in Germany...the reason the USA entered World War 1 was because England intercepted a communication from Germany to Mexico stating that if Mexico would join Germany and help defeat America , Germany would give Arizona, New Mexico and Texas back to Mexico...when Wilson declared war on Germany his constituents cheered and President Wilson stated that he felt bad because he was sending our young men to die....
