    Here is my favorite fitness tracking watch! Definitely a motivator for running.

      How is that even a thing?!!! We have options in the navy for a reason?? Wow. Some people.

      @@ShaeTaylorLife I think its because the other options are only allowed if the co permits it.

    Any personal tips you might have for running when it comes to shin splints. My cardio is good but whenever I run on cement or something that ain’t grass I get bad shin splints about .8 of a mile in.

      Get better shoes. And roll out your shins! I wear brooks, it’s made all the difference. Also, stretch your feet too. You can RUclips it probably :)

      @@ShaeTaylorLife thank you! Yeah I’ve seen so many videos and never got to fix it :/ I’ll try foam rolling. That’s the only thing I’m worried about for training is that my legs just give out because of that.

      Have you tried KT tape or going to a physical therapist for it??

    • @2102-b9m
      @2102-b9m 3 года назад

      @@ShaeTaylorLife Never tried Kt tape but I bought Some brook shoes and those did help since I have flat feet then I bought some compression sleeves for my legs and that also helped a little. Just that whenever I run on cement, my legs just stop working 😂. I run on grass I’m fine, just hoping the floor where we’ll do the Run won’t be anything near as hard as cement

      yeah, Brooks are the best shoes and I've tried a few. There are some yoga stretches that help. Make sure you're doing intervals if they get really bad with rest days in between. Ice at night helps too when its unbearable.
      Remember its because your legs are adapting to the training, so listen to the pain and treat it accordingly so it doesn't get worse. Trusttt me lol

    And you will do burpee as a punishment if your division gets everyone in trouble its called 8 counts. Petty Officer Walicki and Petty Officer Jones were killers. If you get one of these ladies I promise you stfu they were monsters. Loved Jones, she will destroy you yet she made boot camp a little less intensive by week 4 but you get a Walicki well y'all be fucked on a good day. I am sorry Great "Makes" Lakes Naval Base for calling y'all out lol. Its fact this is a punishment tool so be prepared rookies
