The ban on ARAM change would have been nice, if their "all random" system was actually RANDOM, but it's not, it weighs the scales toward champions that are more popularly played instead, so we see the same champs all the time anyways.
I wish I played during ARAM champ bans and I love hearing that they were so targeted. ARAM always seems to be ruined by what I'd like to call "the usual suspects" and looking at current balance buffs in ARAM, they always seem to be untouched or (god have mercy) get additional energy regeneration. Add to that all my previous favorite champions keep getting reworked into yet another stacking mage, or are tanks that take 20% increased damage, and it starts to look like a freaking dream come true.
ARAM Bans were so nice, people actually fought and have fun. Less People dodged (at least for me the entire experience I actually had no one dodges at champion screen) Didn't have to see any of the mentioned champions, because THEY WERE suffocating to play against. Most time I played back to back in League honestly, once they removed it I pretty much stopped playing League few months later. Doesn't make sense that Riot sees HEY these champs are the most hated in ARAM but some how it stopped making ARAM Random with 120+ Champions, so let's move to a system that doesn't actually fix the problems of said champions.
ARAM bans for a ranked queue sounds okay, but they could add for the normal queue an "avoid" pick, similar to a ban you select a champion that you want to have a bit lower chance of appearing in the game, the numbers could be IDK anywhere from 25% to 50% less likely to appear, then you could on top of that if you went for a lower number like the 25% you could make that if one team picks a character it's 25% if both pick it's 50% less likely. This way players have some control but the champion can still appears in that particular game. The math for doing that isn't that hard.
I like the individual role queue idea. Overwatch has where you can pick one role. If you want to only play DPS, you could. That way, everyone got the role they wanted.
It makes sense in theory but maybe its just the way jizzard does it... But from what ive played and seen, it puts a huge choke on queue times in overwatch. Part of it is the limit of role diversity and diversity in viability during certain metas, which is exacerbated by poor matchmaking in certain elos (poor timing, poor mmr/elo/rank matches between the players.) Id rather have more fun gamemodes than a streamlined gamemode that isnt fun
the seperate ranks ARE an amazing idea they just need to stop autofilling all together. it's not that hard. make it an OPTION to agree to autofill and then let peoplenwait for their main otherwise
I hope we can get somewhat older keystone system back It was more diverse and you could find something that was totally working for you and you could make it work even if it was not optimal for 100% In current rune/keystone system, you NEED take those MOST optimal runes to that certain champion like that defeated idea that you could think something fun and wacky playstyle but it failed totally Riot has said that keystone system has been failure from very start (that is S8) and they STILL keep it while knowing it sucks
Regarding the low Brand ban rate on ARAMs, there is actually pretty strange historical context behind it: As some of you may know, in the past Korea was occupied by Japan, and Japanese did many atrocities at time to Korean people. You can imagine that Koreans still dont like Japan and can be a little rude to them. And in Korea, in a early days of league, there was a meme, that Brand looks like Japanese after atomic bombing (I don't know exact origin of the meme). It sticked, and resulted in Brand even lower presence on Korean serwer through the years, because noone want to play him, even when he is meta. Imagine it like Ukrainians would not want to play silly version of Putin or something, but much stronger. Tl;dr Brand is not picked/baned in Korea often because he looks like atomic bomb victim and Asians can be a little racist.
i hope you all start enjoying the game and become happy playing it and i will become happy as well remember in the end dont be mad but be calm and hungry for a higher ranked and dont be toxic to people and also dont int there games ever.

yeah riot once said they would remoove sponsoring at the begining of the video and put them at the end instead. But strangelly they didn't respect that simple fact because they don't respect us enough to let us judge if they deserve to be watch according to the overall video quality, so therefor everyone skips the sponsoring right away. and it''s a drag.
I mean in Aram you just hope to not see Yi, Samira, Pyke and so on. Ofc the bans would be targeted because some champs are litteraly designed to ruin your fun in Aram. Removing a ban still doesn't fix a problem that some champions just male you hate Aram.
It seems that there's nobody above Diamond that works for Riot and plays Arams. If anything it's more competitive than Summoners Rift at times depending on your mmr there. High Elo arams are something else that perhaps many haven't experienced if they're in gold or silver and when 1 or more good players rolls an OP aram champ it's game over for the most part.
It's also extremely frustrating. There are some comps you can only beat if the enemies make mistakes, and even when facing gold and emerald players as a low elo player I feel sometimes like there's nothing I can do. If the ban system still existed that would be alleviated I guess
ngl with how aram is right now bans dont sound that bad really sick of seeing op champs 3 games in a row in a "random mode" would be nice if they just unlocked all champions to play in aram instead of going off of free to play rotation or the really stupid aram rotation
Okay, just to clear something up...a feature being poorly received doesn't mean Riot was "Wrong." Just an example: Role separated rank and MMR. That was poorly received...but guess what? Everyone who actually wants to improve makes separate accounts to play different roles and keep their role MMR separated. A significant portion of the playerbase already implements Role Ranked on their own unofficially. Riot removed a system that has nothing but positive effects because people had a meltdown. Simple solution...punish griefers. Stop removing features (Hello? We removed pings? LOL?) It's that simple. Permanently ban people who clearly hard grief.
Removing bans from Aram was the biggest mistake. I want bans to Aram so much I'll wait every time to see no more of the autowin champs like yuumi, viego, qiyana that always take over the game with 30+ kills. Or give us 2 queues one that's for ban mode like normals has trust me there's enough Aram players for it. there's champs where I just give up I try but internally I've given up as soon as I see them as I next to never see them lose. Forgot to mention Samira and Akshan they are also insane
The thing with the different ranks for each posistion is that it makes no sense to have that added while keeping the autofill chance. There makes no sense to force someone to play on a position they dont like for a rank they dont care. Society didnt ruin this idea, this idea was flawed.
There's also falling turret in ARAM that got remove pretty quick (I am not sure its name I think it is a fun idea, hopefully they add it back with some changes one day

position ranks are a blessing but they need to further modify their system and remove the fucking auto fill function and dual roles let people queue with their desired role till they find it
4:20 i love a champ that plays top so will i play him support or adc no i love the idea but its bad for a lot of people i dont think its anyones fault here good thing they removed it.
Ranked roles would of actually worked out if they nerfed top and mid who are the most popular roles for a reason. If every role was equally popular, autofills would be rarer and less troll.
Nah, people are different, you can't just force everyone to like the same thing in equal amounts, just make an option to choose to wait longer in order to guarantee no autofill and to get your role.
You missed the one where they got rid of your kda, cs, and game time from the top right and put it on the minimap interface. Think that only lasted a few days

personally i felt like them also removing the potion for seeing invis traps and champions ( cant rember the name) and then giving it to cannon and super minion was also pretty fucking stupid
@@coolchrisable Yeah idk those potions allowed you to walk up beyond the minion wave and catch enemies unlike now where a teemo shroom will just 2 shot your squishies
@@coolchrisablei been playing around 8 years now, that potion was so useful, it was called oracle's elixir ❤
What I wouldn't give to see Pyke removed from ARAMs permanently
Aram turrets falling is my fav removed feature. I try my best to get anivia every aram and walling an entire lane off felt really fun.
Can they revert the cant ping changes already.
Yuumi and the wind brothers are still in the game though
At least they are in a slightly less annoying state because of all the new champs and reworks of others.
The hilarious part about position ranks is that the behavior in question predated the feature and has not waivered since its removal. (At least in NA meme-region) xD
There was also the LeBlanc rework that they undid, which I'm personally thankful for even though there's been several reworks since then much more deserving of that treatment such as volibear, aatrox, or fiddlesticks (could keep the graphic and sound update).
They also undid Rengars rework too lol
Nah Fiddle and Voli are much better now and their kits haven't changed that much
Mordekaiser and Aatrox however should get reversed.
voli's is fine. although i would bring back the flip in a heartbeat
Rengar deserved that rework. I hated that he could just get his Q off for nothing and deal 100% of my health from a leap. Leblanc's rework was reverted because she was too strong with it, Rengar's was reverted because they hated being able to actually miss an ability even though it was stronger. ;-;@@phu129
Less People dodged (at least for me the entire experience I actually had no one dodges at champion screen)
Didn't have to see any of the mentioned champions, because THEY WERE suffocating to play against.
That way, everyone got the role they wanted.
no it is not, it was removed for a reason and its rancid
It makes sense in theory but maybe its just the way jizzard does it... But from what ive played and seen, it puts a huge choke on queue times in overwatch. Part of it is the limit of role diversity and diversity in viability during certain metas, which is exacerbated by poor matchmaking in certain elos (poor timing, poor mmr/elo/rank matches between the players.) Id rather have more fun gamemodes than a streamlined gamemode that isnt fun
the seperate ranks ARE an amazing idea they just need to stop autofilling all together. it's not that hard. make it an OPTION to agree to autofill and then let peoplenwait for their main otherwise
love the Va-11 Hall-a music at the beginning.
The first thing that comes to my mind when it comes to a feature that lasted the shortest: Riven's Edge mechanic in PBE.
Riven's WHAT?! 🥵🥵🥵🥵
I hope we can get somewhat older keystone system back
It was more diverse and you could find something that was totally working for you and you could make it work even if it was not optimal for 100%
In current rune/keystone system, you NEED take those MOST optimal runes to that certain champion like that defeated idea that you could think something fun and wacky playstyle but it failed totally
Riot has said that keystone system has been failure from very start (that is S8) and they STILL keep it while knowing it sucks
Regarding the low Brand ban rate on ARAMs, there is actually pretty strange historical context behind it:
As some of you may know, in the past Korea was occupied by Japan, and Japanese did many atrocities at time to Korean people.
Holy shit lmao
I could imagine sejuani having a low pickrate in ukraine. Forget these arabs with every utility in the book, i want some pig type champions
"a little" lmao
Bro I'm a Vietnamese, my country was invaded by China Japan France USA Mongols,... Yet we forgave them all, idk why is Korea so bitter
@@AvatarAang100 Japan, Korea and China have a LOT of history behind them, all three countries hate each other viscerally
Well, one feature that was actually removed and then reinstated very very quietly is All chat
riot simultaneously listening to us but also not with so many other things 🤔 what a company
AP Galio buff somewhere after his rework.
2 items oneshots with Q.
As a new player i feel vindicated that everyone wanted veigar out of aram.
this just show's that riot listens to the community
remember the original darkharvest XD and how strong it was , everyone was taking regarldess of anything
The meme that was aram dark harvest soraka.
i hope you all start enjoying the game and become happy playing it and i will become happy as well remember in the end dont be mad but be calm and hungry for a higher ranked and dont be toxic to people and also dont int there games ever.
Just mute all. This game is great, the community is the problem. Everyone tells you to quit but they forgot why they've quit the game themselves!
@@Kepitano yes i agree and i hope one day we can be happy playing it no matter what happens.and even if it keeps being like this toxic inshallah it wont be anymore i hope everyone becomes happy and have a great life
is the song at begining in back from persona 4 or i have ptsd
they already did ranked ARAM in clash format btw
3:40 nice
mythic items were a balancing nightmare and also the fact that they had to balance it on top of the 200 year champion designs were horrendous
Damn I always wished there were bans in aram. I missed those 28 days! If I never had to see pyke in my arams ever again I'd be so happy!
Another change that they reverted was the Durability update considering that now in season 14 even banshees gives 120 ap so what was the point of the patch anyways?
yeah riot once said they would remoove sponsoring at the begining of the video and put them at the end instead. But strangelly they didn't respect that simple fact because they don't respect us enough to let us judge if they deserve to be watch according to the overall video quality, so therefor everyone skips the sponsoring right away. and it''s a drag.
Termo's rework lasted a very short time on PBE
there are champs that currently have around a 70% WR
Would have loved to see Teambuilder mentioned
Aram will never be more competitive than summoner rift.
omg i didnt even remember the bear being in aram for a while! thats sick
You forgot the crumbling tower terrain in aram that was the worst decision they made because it made less room to escape from a gang
7:40 might be bc he wasnt picked enough or it was another champion that was on the top
@3:40
Nice...
ngl with how aram is right now bans dont sound that bad
really sick of seeing op champs 3 games in a row in a "random mode"
would be nice if they just unlocked all champions to play in aram instead of going off of free to play rotation or the really stupid aram rotation
I’m looking forward to S14 and seeing what changes they plan to make, and for the love of god rework Shyvana 😭
The Kha'zix bush incident.....
This is an extremely informative video and answers questions I would have no way of even asking. Thank you!
"Society tends to ruin good ideas" LMAO why was that so fucking funny XD.
What about akali shroud mechanic that allowed to be under turret
Whenever I play rank either bot position it's an automatic Yuumi ban.
Okay, just to clear something up...a feature being poorly received doesn't mean Riot was "Wrong."
Just an example: Role separated rank and MMR.
They were wrong to rework Aatrox...
Nuclear galio patch 2017.
Akali invisible for turrets poking you under tower in betweeen turret shots
Position rank works if autofill is removed
shouldve mentioned the "rework" to rengar with his aoe q
Society didnt ruin this idea, this idea was flawed.
if i remember correctly, the chem soul had over an 80% win rate in some elos
The ‘Bait’ ping. Riot removed it a couple months ago because players were using it for flaming people and not its intended purpose
I actually featured that in my previous video! Lol
There's also falling turret in ARAM that got remove pretty quick (I am not sure its name
I think it is a fun idea, hopefully they add it back with some changes one day
Make map wider around the first tower then add wall. And maybe like holes in-between the wall.
If "you think it's a fun idea" then you probably haven't played a lot of ARAM during that time xD
3:57 i really wish they would bring it to any server. (Yes it was just on some servers, not any server... Sad he didn't mention this fact)
People say it was terrible, but I was so hyped for this, I still hate them for cancelling it. I could have understood it, if I could experience the problems, I only hear.
How is Yuumi not the very first thing u mention she is a mistake since her release (2019).
You forgot laser tower 🗼
Black cleaver stacking, morde bot and getting a dragon when he kills it, lulu mid tho that one stayed for quite a while. Oh unlimited wards I remember playing support in wins and literally our team has vision on the entire map except their base cause I put down like 30 wards.
position ranks are a blessing
but they need to further modify their system and remove the fucking auto fill function and dual roles
let people queue with their desired role till they find it
4:20 i love a champ that plays top so will i play him support or adc no i love the idea but its bad for a lot of people i dont think its anyones fault here good thing they removed it.
The position rank is a really good idea actually, cuz if you get your worst role then you don’t risk your entire rank. People are just babies
You missed the one where they got rid of your kda, cs, and game time from the top right and put it on the minimap interface. Think that only lasted a few days
Whoa you're so right! I actually remember that happening but never heard anyone mention it ever again.
@@NicolaiLol lol yeah bro idk how that one went live
honestly i was gutted they got rid of role ranks
I wouldnt mind aram bans, there are some characters that i think shouldn't be in aram's (ahkshan)
When your win rate became significantly inflated as a Rengar player with Chemtech map
You forgot to mention that riot reverse-rewoked janna and brought her back to the original version.
How many years it will take Riot to admi: removing omnivamp from ad is terrible?
Shout out to all my homies who miss Sanguine Blade.
Bring that shit back, Riot.
What about the map ?
rengar q change.
Chemtec was so broken. Not only balance wise but also buggy. I had multiple occasions where i just survived the "zombie"state and just did not die.
Everything since zoe's release was a mistake
Idk how rational Tyler1 usually are, mainly because I hardly see any of him, but compared to popular memes about him, at 2:32 he seems like someone with a hell of a lot of common sense.
Maybe it's just the game (and other stuff) that ticks him off
No way nicolai posted 2 times this month
i forgot the curretny l rank stuff, they made it even worste to climb making everyone mrr sh1tty
the main problem of queue rank was simple.
u can flex.
lmao I forgot that there is a champ called skarner
Dynamic Queue should have been here
add position roles back and remove autofill, game is alive again
Do you have a new mic? Your voice sounds different or maybe I'm dumb
It sounds like AI
Mythic exists since 3 season so at least 1000days
Lol is the worst thing that has ever happened to me and I've been playing for like 2 weeks, crying and screaming for riot to add a useful tutorial
the most useful tutorial would just tell you to quit tbh
It is what it is, I was there when there was barely any tutorial. I wish they made a better one than what we have now but let's be real. If you ever change to other competitive games like this, even those don't have that much better of a tutorial. Content creators and 3rd party sites are the only way to learn in depth mechanics about the game.
shout outs to that thumbnail "demoted to iron"
