yeah, what makes these cards strong is their redundancy, cat can be used twice and hawk gets 4 flying potential 10/10s and your opponent has to answer each one as you play them
what are you expecting from commons? of course a lot of cards are garbage, but that is what defines the format. it is good that not only busted commons from the 90s like brainstorm or bolt see play in pauper
You keep getting very weird lists, 4 prismatics main? Cat and Bird are the best creatures in the format for this deck, both are very good against control. Another skill with gates is to space out your threats to avoid sweepers, you only need 1 after all.
Why wouldn't you run 4 Prismatic Strands? The fact that you can use it as discard fodder for Modern Age while still holding it up for nearly free is why it's so good

Seeing as I do not think you would regard youself as an pauper expert and playing decks for the first time in your life. This deck plays tapped lands and colorless lands because that is all gates are. There is no changing that. 😂 With Prismatic you can also block to kill their guys for future.
In game two vs Glitter affnity in turn two u should play modern age discading basiclics gate and hol up journey, they cant rly go trun 3 Enchantment on creature bcs it will be too small to resist removal... You cloud play Modern Age discarding brainstorm.... Since we dont have Hawk we dont need brainstorm bcs we are locking ourselfs then. Other alternative was to play Brainstorm see 3 cards and then suffele with Lorien Revealed. Remeber this deck does not have creature removals (UW Affnity) so your Modern age will be rly annoying to them since they cant attack with Thopter. Otherwise I think playing Journey turn two for just ninja its not very good...
Wait hasn't swiftspear been banned for a few weeks now? Idk how mtgo works but I remember hearing that card got banned and they were keeping an eye on the sticker goblin
Honestly I’m really enjoying these Pauper VODs where you gradually discover that Pauper is a mid-bad format held together by casual players not choosing or building their decks correctly while competitive players play different formats.
