Imagining zelda, unconscious, meditating, curled up in a little ball in a mass of malice inside ganon for 100 years, holding ganon back and telepathically communicating with link... She needs a hug.
I always thought that she was inside Ganon, especial since she bursts out of him at the end. I also thought that during the 100 years, she was in her own ethereal form of golden light. Similar to how Link turns into light after freeing each divine beast. How does Link do that anyway? Is it his own power, or does Zelda do it for him?
@@Diddmaster Link also turns into light after defeating Calamity Ganon in Hyrule Castle, and I don't think any of the champions did that. I always thought that Zelda, as an incarnation of Hylia, Goddess of Time, contained Gannon in some kind of time loop with her. This prevented her aging, and may be connected with the Bloodmoon's strange time-reversing/time-looping effects.
Slight tangent but I love how important Zelda is to the plot of this game. She's not just captured, she's the real hero of the story who's been holding Ganon back this whole time, and is the one who finally seals him in the end, with Link being the one who basically just breaks this hundred-year long stailmate between Ganon and Zelda. Her name being in the title finally feels completely fitting, because this time it really is her story.
I remember when people were saying that there's no plot in BOTW, looking back at the cutsceens they still evoke feelings from the first walkthrough - this game is a masterpiece
There's a funny irony here that in ancient times, Demise fought with all he had to devour the soul of the goddess Hylia in order to obtain the Triforce. Zelda, soul of the goddess and (if speculation is to be believed) complete Triforce and all, just waltzes up to Hyrule Castle and lets herself be devoured to stop the physical manifestation of Demise's curse from spreading
i have a couple of theories on how Zelda survived without eating, sleeping, and without aging, maybe she was stealing the Calamity’s own energy/Malice in order to survive (maybe she’s infected now?) or maybe she was in a Stasis state just like Link as the Calamity’s regeneration pipes are very similar to the ones found in the Shrine of Resurrection
Y'know, this video brought back a previous question i had awhile ago. He says at 11:50 "A splice of Malace and Shekiah technology". If its a mix a sheikah teck and malice, was the sheikah teck just a bunch of unused parts? Or was Calamity Ganon just possessing a powerful Sheikah robot? And same for the Blights too. Did they just rip parts of the Devine beasts off to possess? Am I just blind to a story element or something?
Dude, you are seriously one of the best narrators/writers I've seen on RUclips. You and Night Mind are top tier when it comes to presentation. Thank you for your work!
Just want to say, I hope In the next game Zelda is actually with you and part of a caravan with that ox thing. It’d be cool to have like a partner with you instead of always just saving the princess. Idk maybe I just love final fantasy crystal chronicles too much
The voice in the master sword, could that be Fi who helped to turn the goddess sword into the master sword? Could this be that fi asked zelda to take link to the shrine and the sword to the deku tree?
It’s 100% Fi. she is the literal soul and voice of the Master Sword, and since Fi was created even BEFORE Skyward Sword took place, and has belonged to every single Link (exclude the 4 swords Links), Fi has very vast wisdom on Link, and how to save him
I also seem to recall hearing the Fi noise, during that scene when Zelda hears the voice. I don't see any other reason to use Fi's noise unless it was Fi.
One the reason I like your videos so much it's because of allows us to imagine the characters on such a deeper level. That's one of the reasons I like the Zelda series so much. A girl who is now younger than I am, knowingly and calmly faced her fate.
Imagine the conversation if Zelda was also a spirit. "Yeah, so remember when my father told you what was going on here? And how he was actually a spirit? Yeah, this is kinda awkward, but I am as well. So, uh, thank you for saving Hyrule and all, but I'mma head out to heaven... See ya"
anybody else wondering how zelda feels to give birth to herself essentially everytime ganon shows up or of the like, like isn't she suppose to be the goddess hylia herself in human/hylian... my head hurts a little
I don't think it was that, rather she was fighting him from the inside. If he won he probably would have been able to gain full power and wreak all the havoc he wanted.
Robbie’s diary at Akalla’s (I think it’s akKala) laboratory says that Zelda was swallowed. I thought everyone knew she was eaten 😅. What a torture to endure for 100 years. I can’t even imagine what she went through. Hopefully we learn something about it In the sequel.
Some random thoughts from my brain: what if Zelda sealed herself away and that’s why you don’t actually see her until the very end. Idk. And this is not the topic of the video but what if Midna is a part of the Zonai tribe. She has the same teal color on her which may resemble luminous stone that is supposedly from the Zonai. Maybe SHE is the hand holding Ganondwarf in the sequel trailer. She has swirls on her too which is the tribes symbol. Also the sound that the master award makes in that one memory is the same sound that it makes when fi talks through it in skyward sword.
I was also inside Ganon, once (giggity). Seriously though, another great video. I’m very interested in Zelda’s power(s) so I’m very excited for the sequel since the trailer implies that they will play a role and perhaps Zelda will even be a playable character.
dude go work hard then buy it its so worth it,so much that i have started learning the BIL method and has started to play the game again for the 9th time
Since she was one with Ganon, maybe that could be a lead as to why they went below the castle in the sequels trailer. Maybe she saw in its mind where the malice was coming from
Goes to show how badass she became despite her initial struggles. A hundred years of constant focus inside the malice. It's no 10k years of meditation, but the monks weren't surrounded by the calamity either. We should all be specially proud of our girl Zelda this time around.
Top quality stuff Zeltik. Honestly speaking.. I watch youtube in 1.5x speed since I'm limited on time. But I slow down to 1 to enjoy your great content.
I'm imagining something more akin to "Dormammu, I've come to bargain!" an endless battle on another plane of existence So definitely more in line with your sacred realm theory
Could it be that malice has the same properties as the blue liquid from the shrine of resurrection? Link and Zelda both did not age. Now there are two ideas that pop into my head: 1. What if Link's physical body also disappeared during those 100 years in the blue liquid, like Zelda's body did in the malice? 2. And why did Zelda not lose her memory? Does malice not affect memory or could she keep her memories because she has the Hylia bloodline and powers? After watching NBC video about the ancient cistern in Skyward Sword it seems to me like that blue liquid and malice could be the products of a purification process with the blue liquid being the intended result and malice as the waste product. (If that was already in some theory, please let me know, thanks) Thanks for the video. I was wondering where she was and that is a good explanation. Good job!
Given what we know about Ganondorf being sealed away. I wonder if the calamity was attempting to bond with another member of the three destined to appear?
There are a lot of comments pointing that this was pretty obviously, but for me, I never stopped to think about those little details. I really enjoy the vídeo!!! Good work zeltik!!!
Great video ! The thought of Zelda being sealed away in Ganon’s form never crossed my mind before while playing the game or final boss battle but your theory does make a lot Of sense!

Vincent L hahaha I didn’t even see the whole video but now you mentioned it I saw it and he says it till the end, not a great video Zeltik, slow zelda news these days I guess.
@@Zerolink30 for me, it's explained away by her being the embodiment of the Goddess, Hylia. She is from which all sprang forth, and so into Ganon she goes, and in that spirit form she is ageless? Idk. It parallels Link's journey, as he clearly didn't age either. I mean, what was he bathing in? _Magic_ water? What more could we ask for as far as a good plot? It works. Accept it. Lol.

By doing this, I finally found your channel, Zeltik, and I want to tell you that you have one of the clearest voices I've heard in my life (ever considered the idea of recording audiobooks?). I swear I can understand, without subtitles, every single word in every single video you upload, and even if I don't know the meaning of a specific word, I can understand the spelling so I can search for it.
Everything you decide to share with us is a gift, especially for me and my desire to improve my comprehension of your beautiful language, and to learn more about Zelda universe, of course!
I remember we used to write fake letters to imaginary pen-friends during English lessons, at school.
Now I'm writing one to a real person trying to do my best in not making mistakes, and sorry if I did.
Your videos are made with love and passion, and are free to watch for all of us.
Thank you sincerely, your foreign follower.
Beautiful
She weakened Ganon, forcing him to go into a cocoon. Which (Probably) has the same powers as the shrne of resurrection. Keeping Zelda alive.
OOOOOOOOOOO!
That's a good point!
Well Ganon was trying to construct a body so I imagine she was slowing that process down.
I always thought that Zelda, as an incarnation of Hylia, Goddess of Time, contained Gannon in some kind of time loop with her. This prevented her aging, and may be connected with the Bloodmoon's strange time-reversing/time-looping effects.
11:35 "Noah inside the whale"... it's Jonah who was in the whale, Noah was in a boat.
I dunno why, but describing "The Ark" as "a boat" made me chuckle!
RCing Around HQ I was recently made aware of the phrase: “Noah, get the boat.”
@@TheRCScotsman it's just a REALLY BIG boat
Whales are just fleshy boats :)
You are amazing Zeltik.
I remember when people were saying that there's no plot in BOTW, looking back at the cutsceens they still evoke feelings from the first walkthrough - this game is a masterpiece
Legend of Zelda: Xenomorph edition.
Thomas Irwin they’re parasites
LEL - Noble of Lost Pause.
Stop. Just st o p
Everyone: *is in quarantine
Zeltik: *But where was Zelda????*
Ganon: Uses a parasite to get what he wants
Zelda: Well well well... How the turntables...
Ganon's Inside Story
Wife: "Change your clothes, they're filthy!"
Me: "Zelda didn't change her tattered clothes for over 100 years!"
I always thought it was kinda obvious... Great video nonetheless.
i have a couple of theories on how Zelda survived without eating, sleeping, and without aging, maybe she was stealing the Calamity’s own energy/Malice in order to survive (maybe she’s infected now?) or maybe she was in a Stasis state just like Link as the Calamity’s regeneration pipes are very similar to the ones found in the Shrine of Resurrection
Like Noah inside the Whale. Um, Zeltik, it's Noah's Ark and Jonah in the Whale/Great Fish. My brain did a record scratch stop when you said that, lol.
Noah parted the sea! Get it right! /s
Fine! Link inside the Windfish! Jeez!
In-game fact that is implied in various ways and outright stated twice: Exists
Zeltick: Is this a theory?
"...she was one with Ganon, like an antibody latched onto a virus."
Topical content
This is a weird THEORY to me because this all seemed pretty explicit in the base game
When you get an ad for an ad-free browser
*YOU HAVE BECOME THE VERY THING YOU SWORE TO DESTROY
...wait, how is her disappearance a mystery if Robbie literally says that she was swallowed?
He was watching through his giant telescope
Lol I actually didnt notice that robbie said that
I never noticed that. I presumed she avoided it like she did at the end of the game
It could be metaphorical
Yeah, this is exactly the impression I got, when I played through the game. Didn't realise it was a topic of debate, honestly!
It probably isn't; he just needed an excuse to make another Zelda video.
one of your best videos in a while, no reaches and really convinced me. pacing was off (5 mins for an intro?) and an abrupt ending, but real good!
So... Ganon eat Zelda and after 100 years never digest...
That was a heavy breakfast
Y'know, this video brought back a previous question i had awhile ago. He says at 11:50 "A splice of Malace and Shekiah technology". If its a mix a sheikah teck and malice, was the sheikah teck just a bunch of unused parts? Or was Calamity Ganon just possessing a powerful Sheikah robot? And same for the Blights too. Did they just rip parts of the Devine beasts off to possess? Am I just blind to a story element or something?
Zeltik:Almost like a womb or heart
Me: pretty sure it’s a ballsack
This made me laugh.
Thank you for posting this comment so I could laugh!🙂👍
this broke my brain. excellent video. let the binge watching of your channel
commence!
11:38 It's Jonah not Noah. Noah was the guy who built the ark and gathered one pair of (almost) every species.
Papa Lonk *kind, not species~ just to clarify.
Yeah but that fool had to keep two mosquitos
I mean why
Tree Beaver to feed the spiders
Dude, you are seriously one of the best narrators/writers I've seen on RUclips. You and Night Mind are top tier when it comes to presentation. Thank you for your work!
2:50 You can just say Fi. We know the voice is Fi.
Yeah, I think its pretty obvious it's Fi.
My parents agree too!
I thought she was to busy yelling at me to come save her while i was making friends with Bokoblins
Just want to say, I hope In the next game Zelda is actually with you and part of a caravan with that ox thing. It’d be cool to have like a partner with you instead of always just saving the princess. Idk maybe I just love final fantasy crystal chronicles too much
"A being older than time"
I see what ya did there....
The voice in the master sword, could that be Fi who helped to turn the goddess sword into the master sword? Could this be that fi asked zelda to take link to the shrine and the sword to the deku tree?
It’s 100% Fi. she is the literal soul and voice of the Master Sword, and since Fi was created even BEFORE Skyward Sword took place, and has belonged to every single Link (exclude the 4 swords Links), Fi has very vast wisdom on Link, and how to save him
@@IamSupreme333 I thought so but wasn't sure. Thanks for responding
See ya"
"Against Bokoblins or Hinox"
*Bokoblin casually has Ancient Bladesaw*
is anyone else entranced with his voiceovers?? literally keeps me reeled in 24/7
I haven't seen a Zeltik theory in 4ever!
Last time I was this early, I was in an incubator in the Maternity Ward.
At first glance I thought that said Montgomery Ward.
The Dust Bunny that was actually kinda funny.
Oh? When were you scheduled to watch this video?
anybody else wondering how zelda feels to give birth to herself essentially everytime ganon shows up or of the like, like isn't she suppose to be the goddess hylia herself in human/hylian... my head hurts a little
Only the first Zelda was, the rest have the blood of the goddess.
Ahhh I need them to give us more information about the zonai and champions from 10,000 years ago
I went on an adventure and found the spot from the end cards. Amazing view.
Where is it? There's a number of locations similar
@@colbauer1426 it's on Cape Cales at the 2 trees east of the skull.
@@camrynweber7539 thanks!
@@colbauer1426 no problem!
Wonder how bad she smelt being trapped inside a demon king for 100 years.
Ah what smell...?
She had me at hello
Yeah....to be honest I wonder why she didn't take a longgggg shower before she talked to link
So Zelda basically casted Destiny Bond from pokemon.
“Ganon, if you kill me it will kill you also.”
I don't think it was that, rather she was fighting him from the inside. If he won he probably would have been able to gain full power and wreak all the havoc he wanted.
Me: OH A ZELDA THEORY!
Zektik: YOU MEAN A THEORY OF SQUARESPACE?
Naw, its just a theory... A GAME THEORY!!!!! 😏
I wish I have Nintendo Switch to play this masterpiece.
Rip
@@dayalasingh5853 RIP indeed.
It's on Wii U as well and you can mod it on Wii U.
dude go work hard then buy it
its so worth it,so much that i have started learning the BIL method and has started to play the game again for the 9th time
It also released on the wii u. That is where I have it
I thoroughly enjoy your explanations. They are not far fetched and always have a good amount of fact behind them. This by far is my favorite theory.
Now we need to talk to the master sword in the sequel.
No please no! No! Noooooooooooo!
Master your joycons are at low battery. There's a 99% chance that I annoy you.
Since she was one with Ganon, maybe that could be a lead as to why they went below the castle in the sequels trailer. Maybe she saw in its mind where the malice was coming from
When I first saw the thumbnail, I first saw “inside Ganon” lol
Timmy uh oh
Goes to show how badass she became despite her initial struggles.
A hundred years of constant focus inside the malice.
It's no 10k years of meditation, but the monks weren't surrounded by the calamity either.
We should all be specially proud of our girl Zelda this time around.
Filler ends and video starts at around 5:32, actual answer at 8:50.
Top quality stuff Zeltik.

Now I’m waiting for the spinoff announcement. The Legend of Zelda: Ganon’s Inside Story
Yeah but...where was Zelda's physical body then? And why didn't she age or change clothes?
Dematerialized, it would seem. Maybe it's like Link's body during teleportation.
Where would she have found time to change clothes locked in a never ending battle?
I'm glad that someone is asking these questions. I really hope the the final fight of age of calamity will be between zelda and ganon!!!!!!!
I just assumed this and thought everyone knew this. Hey, great minds think alike
I'm imagining something more akin to "Dormammu, I've come to bargain!"
an endless battle on another plane of existence
So definitely more in line with your sacred realm theory
Love your channel. When do you think the next Zelda game will come out?
Thank you!
no, zelda just turned into a disco light and started vibing with ganon for 100 years
I was just needing something to watch. Thank you 😌
Wings of Icarus your first

Make sure you don't fly too close to the sun.
Could it be that malice has the same properties as the blue liquid from the shrine of resurrection? Link and Zelda both did not age.
Now there are two ideas that pop into my head:
(If that was already in some theory, please let me know, thanks)
Thanks for the video. I was wondering where she was and that is a good explanation. Good job!
Hello, Greetings from North Korea, Good video
How's Kim Jong Un
@@AlejandroMartinez-qe5ft Handsome as always, thanks for asking, Comrade
I need you to get a job narrating nature documentaries because that voice is so soothing. *....
Calamity ganon: yes doctor i have horrible pain in my stomach
Doctor: don’t worry ganon you only have a zelda, it will eventually leave your body.
It can take years to pass a Zelda, and it hurts worse than kidney stones
Given what we know about Ganondorf being sealed away. I wonder if the calamity was attempting to bond with another member of the three destined to appear?
Never have I been so early in my life
I feel that, haha
There are a lot of comments pointing that this was pretty obviously, but for me, I never stopped to think about those little details. I really enjoy the vídeo!!! Good work zeltik!!!
Thank you Zeltik, when I got the game, I was wondering that too.
It’s similar to how Zelda sealed herself away in Skyward Sword to prevent Demise from breaking his seal
"Inside Ganon" lol
Weslee Warren made me ‘tingle’
Great video ! The thought of Zelda being sealed away in Ganon’s form never crossed my mind before while playing the game or final boss battle but your theory does make a lot Of sense!
That's right Link ages in OoT!
Oh wait, then he goes back to being a little kid.
Maybe the sacred realm is just bullshit and does whatever the plot demands.
2:58
How cool would it have been if a young Impa saved Link instead of a couple of randos
Simple: She was with Ganon inside the castle in that shell, she was holding Ganon. No need of a video to explain. lol
Right? I feel like he took all of 9 minutes to ask that very question. And I'm over here like: "Well, duh?"
Vincent L hahaha I didn’t even see the whole video but now you mentioned it I saw it and he says it till the end, not a great video Zeltik, slow zelda news these days I guess.
True but that doesn't explain how she stayed alive, how she didn't age for 100yrs
It works. Accept it. Lol.
great video, Zeltik, keep it up!
the fact that Robbie's journal said that Ganon *swallowed* Zelda, is a solid piece of evidence for this theory
