Hype, after I beat TotK I can't wait to see where he goes and how he recontextualizes Calamity Ganon. His Gloom alone is much scaries than Malice ever was
Isn't demise the start of Gannon? Don't know if you plan on addressing that in the update? But some kind of a reason would be nice if you chose not to include him. Hope the new video goes well!
This version of this Ganon is definitely the strongest, yeah I didn't play nearly all of the games mentioned minus botw, but still based on your description none lifted an entire castle and broke the master sword, yeah no triforce or whatever but even those that have the triforce weren't able to break the master sword immediately after the seal was broken
plus it's a bonus to dominion since it's a known fact that playing an instrument makes you more popular. My dude's basically an evil Warlock Elton John
@@TheClassyGamesman "its gonna be a long long time, till touchdown brings me 'round to find I'm not the man they think I am at home. oh no no, I'm a Ganon man, burning down the kingdom out here on my own.'
Fun fact: The ocarina of time Ganon’s transformation was planned to be as big as his tower. Having link climb him and fight. The N64 just couldn’t handle that size
Well considering Calamity Ganon was basically just a Puppet and could still utterly destroy all of Hyrule that would mean Mummy Ganondorf is beyond that when his seal breaks in the Sequel trailer.
Pablo Enrique Rodríguez Rivera I mean in the trailer there is Gerudo Text saying Ganon Seal coming out of the hand holding the body so it is super implied to be Ganondorfs body.
One of my favorite things about Twilight Ganon is that he dies standing on his own two feet. His sheer determination did not allow for him to fall as many have before from fatal wounds. What a legend.
Twilight Ganon is best gannon. Not strongest. But best. Also best bossfight! The fact you duel him at the end... perfection! Just wished he would have taken a more active roll throughout the story instead of just being the puppet master mind.
He was my favorite ganon for sure, dude took a gut stab, from a balde if light, witch was supposed to EXECUTE him, from the literal sages and the dude literally just ripped his chains and crunched one of them, with one hand, and then took the blade that was still inside him and used it as his own from then on!
@@ethribin4188 I've never played TP, but WW Ganondorf was my favorite, purely because at the end, he doesn't turn into a monster. It's just a duel to the death. After seeing this video, I definitely need to play TP.
@@MVJORV Indeed, it was my favorite of the Zelda games. Played the first Zelda/The 2nd adventure of link/link to the past/oot/mm/wind waker and lastly TP in 2006. Never played Botw and dont really want to seeing how Nintendo is pretty much abandoning all lore from previous games to create a fresh "start" of a genre.
@@yeahyeah2899 Twilight Princess is my favorite Zelda game. The first one I played was alttp, then Minish Cap, the oracle games, the first zelda. Never really liked aol. Twilight Princess was the first 3d zelda game I've played. Second was oot. Twilight princess remains the best Zelda game I've ever played.
I still think that Twilight Princess Ganondorf is the most threatening. The dude literally lived an execution, took the sword out of himself, and killed an ethereal being before being cast into the twilight realm.
100%. Dude tanked that, took over the entire twilight realm based off MAGIC alone, then continued to turn almost all of hyrule into twilight. He managed to posses the wielder of the triforce of wisdom, beat the ancient magic of the twilight realm, and still went 3 rounds with the hero of time. Imo, he is the strongest Ganon of the series by a mile. Then again I haven’t ever played link to the past so I can’t comment on the last one.
@@adampeterson9662 he hadn't gone 3 rounds as twilight princess (tp) takes place in the child timeline and in it ocarina of time (oot) link and ganon never fought as that only happened when link pulls out the master sword which only happens in the adult timeline. a link to the past ganon (alttp) is fought in the fallen hero timeline so tp ganon could not have fought the hero 3 times as each fight takes place in a different timeline. He's still very powerful but by no means the strongest i hasn't played tp but i do know enough about the general zelda timeline to say to ganon never fought link 3 times. also tp ganon never fough the hero of time which is oot link 3 times only once as when they fought it lead to two different outcomes but that doesn't mean two different fights so tp ganon only fought the hero twilight, tp link. alttp ganon fought oot and beat him and lost to alttp link. so alttp ganon fought two different heroes tp ganon only fought one.
@@hessexm8065 mate, I don’t understand a single thing of what you just said. Did you play the damn game? TP Ganon had 3 stages where he went basically 1v1 against Link. 2 if you ignore the horseback. I said 3 rounds referring to a UFC or boxing match? I’m literallly only talking about TP. How the ever living fuck did you even bring up multiple Zelda games? Gotta be the weirdest comment I’ve ever read and THE DEFINITON of weird flex.
Imagine if instead of possessing zelda he simply stole the triforce of wisdom after the fight. Its even funnier how he wasnt going to die at all before the neck crack. It seems like this version of him had a much deeper connection and ability to use the triforce of power considering he did the whole invinice barrior around hyrule castle as well
I hope he is going to be fully revived. After fighting some mindless beast in botw, it would be so cool to fight the man himself. Unlike with the calamity, it would be personal. And it would be the most epic sword fight in Zelda's history.
Calamity Ganon was powerful enough in Breath of the Wild and was able to create enough malice to take control of the Guardians and Divine Beasts, granting him possibly the strongest army of any Ganon or Ganondorf. In the trailer, it seemed like all that malice was coming from Ganondorf's corpse. If his power was able to create Calamity Ganon, take control over the Guardians and have as much of an effect on Hyrule as it did, we can only imagine what he'll be capable of in the sequel. He must rank somewhere near the top.
Interesting tidbit about Twilight Princess Ganondorf. The only reason Link and Midna can hurt him in his beast form is because of the wound left by the Sages, and if you do actually get close enough to hit on horseback before Zelda shoots him with a Light Arrow, then the Master Sword won't have any effect. It's fairly common for Link to need help against Ganondorf, in this game the fights with him would be outright unwinnable if weren't injured or if Link were on his own.
The blood of the goddess and the spirit of the hero unite to face the incarnation of Demise's hatred. Hylia, the divine guardian of the legendary Triforce wasn't strong enough to defeat Demise alone, which speaks to the power of the one true Demon King.
After fighting calamity Ganon in age of calamity, I’d say that is when Ganon was at his strongest, if you count calamity Ganon as a form of Ganon. It took link, Zelda, impa, the king, all the champions, and all the champions successors to defeat him. And that was only after terrako sacrificed itself to weaken calamity Ganon. If terrako hadn’t done that, they would have lost.
I think you failed to realize that his technique of darkness in A Link to the Past doesn't just turn out the lights, it makes him completely invincible. That is, unless the lights are turned back on. Shrouded in darkness he is completely impervious to any damage. A bit more than just turning off the lights I'd say.
Power is not “the dark side.” There is no dark side when it comes to the triforce. It is quite literally beyond good and evil. Just because it is the part most commonly used by evil, that doesn’t make it evil itself. In fact ganon has possessed every piece of the triforce at some point in the timeline.
@@Goodbutevilgenius lol if that were true it would be impossible for Ganon or any other being with evil in their heart (aka everyone) to use it. It would be impossible to use it for an evil wish. There would be no point in desperately trying to stop evil people from getting it if the relic itself was bound to morality and that morality is set to lawful good.
Imagine getting killed, coming back to life, and everytime it happens, it's by the same guy, but reincarnated. Needless to say, I can understand Ganon's grudge🤷🏿♂️
Nowadays, we can infer from the TotK trailer that Calamity Ganon is purely a construct of unimaginable amounts of malice, rather than Ganondorf himself, who is sealed underground with unknown magic, possibly magic of the Goddesses. Within his seal, if we assume the information we have been given in BotW's lore is consistent across Calamities, it takes him 10,000 years to build up enough malice to unleash one Calamity. It seems obvious that he can receive information from Calamity Ganon despite Calamity Ganon acting autonomously and with its own intelligence, seeing as he learned from the last, failed attempt which ended in Calamity Ganon getting completely obliterated, and came up with a plan to get the jump on Hyrule this time around. Despite being without the Triforce of Power, and despite merely being a product of malice produced by Ganondorf, and despite the fact that that product of malice had to act without any help from Ganondorf courtesy of the mysterious hand keeping him sealed tightly, it is still an absolute beast, and is extraordinarily powerful and certainly nothing to be trifled with. In addition, seeing as he is a construct of malice, it is clear now why he could not be destroyed without Zelda's powers: it was too much malice to be destroyed by the Bow of Light or the Master Sword alone, and so Zelda needed to use her powers to erase this colossal amount of malice from existence, as the malice can apparently act even with much of it destroyed, seeing as it can split apart and each part can act of its own accord. All of it needed to be destroyed, and Zelda's powers are the only thing that can erase that much malice from existence. Calamity Ganon is truly a powerful entity, potentially one of the most powerful in the series.
In all fairness it took a f$ing country's worth of guardians, link, zelda, and the champions to put him down the first time, and that was a temporary fix
lmao it’s literally botw zelda and spirit tracks phantom zelda slaughtering every other one with no competition. more than half of them are completely locked away for their games and are virtually useless. and we don’t even know about botw zelda’s actual abilities, she was busy holding back calamity ganon the whole time
You've done Link. You've done Ganon and Ganondorf. It's been a long time, but could you do one on Zelda herself, the girl who the series was named after? (Maybe throw in Midna and Hilda into that list as a bonus?)
Now we know breath of the wild's Gannon was just the heavily suppressed malice of a near dead and sealed Gannon deep underground. Basically, this Gannon should be a beast of all Gannons
Now that TOTK is out there can be no denying this Ganondorf is the strongest. The Secret Stone seems to have fully restored the dark power he held as Demise. Even when shriveled up, he transformed the world when he caused the Upheaval. He destroyed the Master Sword with a single shot. It took 10k years for it to recover and be at the level where it can match Ol’ Dorf.
Strength: 10 Dominion: 10 Wizardry: 10 Intelligence: 10 As we know, this Ganondorf is the closest to his original Demise form, which means his power is overwhelming, he had the entire kingdom at the bottom of his heel. He had everything in the world in a tight chokehold. It’s not even fair. The only disadvantage is I don’t think he has the Triforce of Power.
Ganondorf is incredibly powerful. Can we talk about how insane Link is for going up against all these increasingly powerful reincarnations and winning?
Well he technically has no choice. He is Hylia's chosen hero and must defeat whatever threatens Hyrule. Which is kinda sad when you think about it because they gotta leave everything behind just to fulfill a prophecy
The way I see it, due to The Hero of Time's time travel shenanigans, he was sent back to the past with his Triforce of Courage. This caused an imbalance, making the Triforce of Courage from the past disappear, and the Wisdom and Power pieces going to Zelda and Ganondorf respectively. This'd explain how Ganondorf had the Triforce of Power during his banishment in Twilight Princess.
There's a bit of a hole in that theory. In Wind Waker, it's said that the departure of the Hero of Time cause the Triforce of Courage to break into pieces. The Hero of Winds has to Reassemble them before taking on Ganondorf.
@@jonathanflanagan1504 Perhaps, when the Hero of Time left, he inadvertently made two Triforces, one to stay in the past, and the other to remain in the future, since this is working on Chrono Trigger logic that affecting the past doesn't directly affect the future. Link was sent much farther into the past, before Ganondorf attacked the castle and Zelda ran away with Impa.
The opening scene of TotK kinda made it clear that the BotW/TotK Ganon is the strongest we’ve seen. Not even considering what he did during that intro cutscene, you need to acknowledge this: throughout BotW, Ganondorf’s human form is trapped underneath Hyrule Castle. But his evil magic is seeping out into the world still, manifesting as Calamity Ganon. Calamity Ganon took control of the divine beasts, beat Link and was held back for 100 years by Zelda so Link could revive and return to save a destroyed kingdom. Calamity Ganon nearly won and he was just a projection of a sealed Ganondorf. He didn’t even recognize Link in the opening cutscene despite his aspect having been banished by Link in the previous game. Your video didn’t cover that because we didn’t have the information yet, but I don’t think there’s any Ganon who can touch the sheer power of BotW/TotK Ganondorf who can nearly destroy Hyrule and only be narrowly defeated all accidentally while unconscious and imprisoned, unaware it’s even happening. TotK showed us the man behind the earthquake who’s very existence is a threat even when he’s “defeated”. Disclaimer: I haven’t beaten TotK yet so please no spoilers on the ending. I only mentioned the opening scene for a reason :)
Twilight Princess He literally made Zelda his puppet, survived an execution because of his power and hatred. He is the embodiment of hatred. Even when stabbed with the master sword. He survived for a few moments before he lost the triforce of power. He is powerful.
Hey Reagan seeing how Powerful ganondorf was in twilight princess goes to show How powerful link was in that game seeing as how link defeated both of them
@@andysolis8819 Link was definately strong but there are some flaws with that He had SO MUCH help there were 5 phases 1. zelda puppet- link solos 2. beast ganon- link and midna 3. weird fire ganon- only midna 4. horseback- link, zelda and light spirits 5. ganondorf 1v1- link Not to mention he had a hole in his chest
Survived a few moments after the final blow? Cute, Ocarina of time ganon survived being stabbed in the freaking skull with the master sword Made zelda his puppet? cool, Alttp ganon made the entire kingdom his puppet while the seal of the sages was still active, and calamity ganon made the literal weapons designed to kill him puppets, all by using more puppets, created by another puppet Heck, Wind waker ganon survived many hits from the master sword and the light arrows, but unlike twilight princess ganon he didn't have his part of the triforce, he was just a man, and he survived that, and with his part of the triforce he literally stopped the earth rotation, EAT THAT MAJORA! YOUR FALLING MOON FEAT IS NOT AS IMPRESSIVE AS YOU THINK!
Great video, but I think you’re underrating Calamity Ganon. Causing that much destruction with no triforce is absolutely insane; his magic power would easily be one of the top.
I’m thoroughly convinced that TotK Ganondorf is going to be a Lich or a Lich-equivalent being, meaning that his spirit would be unkillable unless his phylactery is found and destroyed. Ganondorf is clearly seen to be highly proficient in necromancy (blood moons in BotW are massive resurrection events and are the best example of his necromantic abilities), which is necessary for becoming a Lich. It would also explain the line in BotW saying Ganon gave up on reincarnation, implying he has at least searched for immortality. I think this also explains why in the TotK trailers Ganondorf is a mummified corpse. Liches are the highest form of undead, retaining all of their living memories and intelligence while taking the form of a skeletal or mummified body.
Being further in the game than 10 minutes, I'm gonna say definitely right. The geoglyph quests alone show a pretty stark picture of how strong he is, even if we didn't already understand on some level that the entire Calamity Ganon we fought last game was basically this guy's Stand.
You know, I was wondering how you could do a Zelda version since Zelda typically doesn't do as much as Link and Ganon but I think I have some criteria for you to use, assuming you haven't already come up with something. Wisdom: An obvious criteria for someone with the Triforce of Wisdom. This will gauge how intelligent they are. How clever are they, do they come up with any plans to oppose Ganon, are any of their actions reasonable, rational and smart in some way? Do they make the right choices based on what they are dealing with? Magic: Most, if not all Zeldas seem to have some degree of magical skill so this would be a good thing to judge. We have seen Zeldas with telepathy, summoning weapons like the light arrows and altering their shape. What Zelda has the best and/or most varied magical skillset? Presence: Given how the series is literally named after her, we should expect Zelda to be an important part of the games so how much of a presence does each Zelda have. Are they actively fighting against Ganon or the other villain? Are they helping Link at all or are they merely a damsel in distress that needs saving? State of Hyrule: You could probably come up with a better 4th category but this is something that could be unique to look at. Given that Zelda is the princess and is destined to rule Hyrule if not already ruling it, how is her kingdom faring in the events of the game? Is it doing well, is it only troubled during the game or had it already gone to shit? Did they already lose it? Do they even really have one? I am not sure how you could rate Tetra with this as she doesn't have a kingdom at all in WW/PH but she does create a new Hyrule we see in Spirit Tracks but that could moreso count for that Zelda since she's ruling it at that point in the series, not Tetra so we may need a better 4th category. Either way, it would be cool to see how each Zelda is and how they are ranked.
The sequel we’ve all been waiting for, and this suggested criteria is honestly pretty fair. The last one is on the right track, but I believe that maybe it should just be simplified to “Leadership”. How good of a leader is this Zelda? Does she show any military prowess? How does she handle the situation at hand and try to rally/appease her people?
With the trailer release of BotW 2, its basically been confirmed that Calamity Ganon isnt Ganondorf, its just his rage thats been oozing out of his body for millennium. It bunches together and wreaks havok on hyrule, is defeated, and slowly returns, because ganondorf himself remains alive, albeit frozen in agony. I look forward to meeting the King of Thieves again in the newest game.
There probably won't be a ganon as powerful as ALTTP ganon again in the franchise, simply because at the time, I don't believe the triforce was as much of an all powerful macguffin as it would become later. It's a weird case of an older entry in the series becoming more powerful due to power creep later in the franchise.
I am. I assume he will have a raspy hollow Voice, fitting to his mummefied and dead corpse. Than I personly assume he will become stronger and stroger over the course of the Story and revert more back to his original Gerudo self wich will make his Voice become deeper and clearer
@@danahira7084 I hope they wont go for the simple dark manacing Voice. Ganandorf is a scheemer, a more dark but also kinda charming Voice could fit him well. Well it all depends how he will be in the Game. For all we know they could go fully for creepy. That Ganandorf stays a Mummie but will, overtime enhance his Bodey with Shieka Technologie until he is a Cybernetic abomination of flesh, malice and cybernetics. Kinda like his Spider form in the first Game but even MORE terrefying and unsettling.
I feel like I have to mention this. there is a severe slight you make against the original ganon's magical capabilities. why was it true that we did not see much of what he can do in terms of magic in our final fight with him, you must consider that he still had the magic to create the majority of the monsters, and magically created most of the boss monsters if not all the boss monsters in the game. it's possible that his magic is different in nature than what we are used to thinking of, but reducing his magical capabilities to the throne room disregards the magic that he used to lay the kingdom low.
@@Attaxalotl That is actually a fair point lol, sorry it was just an assumption. Idr much but when she seals calamity ganon it shows her lifting her hand and the full triforce appearing before her. Not just one like the Triforce of Wisdom. We also know that Ganon doesn't have his triforce so it's a hypothesis I suppose. You could say if she had the full triforce she would of been able to defeat Ganon without having to seal him, which is probably true. And that also calls into regard of the triforce of courage. Though understanding where or what sealing magic is or comes from besides just from the triforce of wisdom is confusing. As if the triforce of wisdom possessed all the power to seal a being like Ganon away, wouldn't she of been able to do it by herself in Ocarina of Time? Instead of having to use the sages to assist?
There's a big mistake here 19:42 was a mistranslation by the crappy English localization team The real meaning was actually the complete OPPOSITE. He didn't give up, He REFUSED to give up, and this form was the result of his refusal to give up. It was basically he either die, or become a beast. He chose to be a beast. Official ENG translation: He has given up on reincarnation and assumed his pure, enraged form. Literal Japanese: This form was born from his obsessive refusal to give up on revival.
Looking at tears of the kingdom, it really breathes new life into ganondorf in this game, marking that all of calamity ganon was just energy that he collected while *already* sealed from underground, after being unable to be killed for 10,000 years
Just a little something I want to point out, but it's only in the English localization where it's stated that Ganon gave up on reincarnation and became the Dark Beast. In reality, that form is achieved BECAUSE he refuses to give up, and draws strength to take on another form.
Spoiler alert, worst boss fight of all the Gannons. Even worse when you get all the beasts. BotW sucked, and robot calamity Gannon blew so much D in her 100 year sleep he was a joke. Whose fault is it really. Fuckin Carol Baskin.
@SAMUEL CASTILLO Majora is a weird case. It has absolute power in a very narrow spectrum. Dumped all of its stat points in one place, and got more by taking a bunch of flaws, so to speak. It has a very good trick, but I don't actually think it's all that strong in a well rounded sense. I mean, think about it. Its true form was killed by a kid with a pigsticker, and/or one of three more or less unremarkable members of the other races. No need for a special blade, a weapon forged by the gods, a titanic wrestling match, or a mighty, arcane seal of power. Just straight up prison shanked by a twelve year old, bish bash bosh, and the evil is gone forever. And then it gets worn as an accessory in BotW or used as a tasteful wall piece in Link Between Worlds. When was the last time anyone wore Ganondorf as an accessory, or pinned up Vaati on the wall? They wouldn't stand for that, but Majora can't stand at all. Dumped its leg stat for more attack.
now that totk is out we know that calamity ganon is a part of ganondorf that was created to terrorize hyrule while he couldn’t, due to being sealed by rauru
Next up, the strongest zelda. Most people may say it is WW's tetra, but I say it is BotW's zelda. She held ganandorf sealed for 100 years. Also, I wanted TP ganon to win, but it is ok. He stole zant's spotlight. Also, I knew who the 3 frontrunners would be. Nvm, forgot about yuganon. Though it is a shock he beat ganon from OoT
I'd say that Tetra isn't terribly powerful as Zeldas go, but she's by far the most active and willing to get her hands dirty. In Phantom Hourglass she actually gets insulted when called "Zelda" as she'd rather be seen as a ruthless captain than a pretty princess.
I mean...if Ganon From AlttP is basically GOD, what is Link in that context, beeing able to defeat a GOD wielding the full Triforce, without having anything but his own strengh and arsenal? And thats a Link in his FIRST adventure. Thats not even after the 4 games he was in, that was just at the start.
To think about it, yeah, Ganon can just make a wish to make him disappear, but he doesn't, and I guess the reason is that the Master Sword, that repells any evil, no matter how powerful, is immune to the Magic of the Triforce when controlled by Evil according to the A Link to the past Manual (The Japanese Translation is the more reliable one since the English has mistakes in Translation.) My suggestion is, that Ganon realized that the Triforce is useless as long as the Hero is either ownimg this sword or as long as he is alive, so he decided to kill him with his own strength - and failed.
In all fairness, said 10-year old restored the Master Sword, rebuilt the Triforce of Courage and forced the Golden Goddesses to choose him as the Hero of Winds.
@@ls190v2 absolutely none of those things added to his physical strength though. He still has the strength of an above average 10 year old so you're right but it's not like those things make him less physically weak
@@Aligames5747 I mean it kinda does, maybe not on an insane level, but throughout the game he’s running everywhere, jumping everywhere, using his sword all the time, able to walk in the iron boots, able to slam a long hammer despite being pretty short, and to top it off he has the power bracelets which allows him to pick up giant heavy boulders with ease and throw them.
Matthew Pelletier I agree with ALTTL Link as the most complete. Buuuuut Ganon... he was a friking beast (not pun intended I guess) in Twilight Princess. Still I think he will rank either BOTW or SS Zelda as the most powerful or complete
One thing you left out about Wind Waker G-Dorf, he's MUCH wiser. Throughout the game, whenever you do get to speak with him, he basically admits that his prior methods (hint hint ocarina of time) were childish, brash, and single-minded. He even explains his reasoning for doing what he did (whether he's telling the truth or not, who knows). He comes off as somewhat sympathetic when explaining how he and the Gerudo had to live in the harsh desert while close by the Hylians lived in peace and were prosperous. Again, he could be lying, but he kind of comes off as noble in a way in that what he did he was doing because he wanted better for the Gerudo. WW G-Dorf is best G-Dorf IMHO. He has the most character development, comes off as far more cunning than any other incarnation of G-Dorf, and if he is lying and was just trying to pull sympathy from Link, shows he's more manipulative.
I hope BotW2 will give us a Ganondorf reflecting on _everything_ that's happened. He lived through an untold number of ages. I guess this never-ending struggle must weight on him quite a bit despite the power of his spite and malice. :/
WW Ganondorf is very explicitly telling the truth. In the New Game+ Hero mode, the Hero's New Clothes state that only honest can see them. While the game changes certain characters' dialog to reference Link's blue shirt (like Medli), Ganondorf can still see the outfit.
@@JaftenLKA Link had the complete triforce + the master sword at full power + a brain that isn't just here to kill things, and it still didn't end Demise for good.
@Jerry Smith Huh, last i checked, the only Link with the full triforce is the Link from skyward sword, without forgetting that the master sword have her full power only in skyward sword and twillight princess. And really, it comes more as skyward Link being the strongest Link(in my opinion), and that he is much stronger than Alttp Ganon.
Not gonna lie Link VS Ganondorf in twilight princess is probably my favorite boss fight in the entire franchise in terms of final boss fights on the epic scale it's probably only 2nd to the demise fight in skyward sword
See I didn't love skyward sword as a game but that end fight was amazing. I was a little bit sad it got left off of this list but I know it's not actually a ganon so.
I think Ganondorf might actually have been in BOTW because I was replaying it and a cutscene said something like "and all of the hate and malice turned him into a beast" so I think he maybe in a prequel. But at the same time it says that ganon lay dormant under hyrule castle... idk hopefully some other people have some incite on this!
and In the Cutscene where Nabooris gets in position to fire, Urbosa said the Calamity once took the Form of a Gerudo, alluding to the man himself... I didn't really like not having the Gerudo king in BOTW, I think a one on one duel with BOTW's engine would have been epic!
Personally, i think BotW Ganon is somewhere at the distant end of one of the timelines... He's degraded to the point where he isn't even regarded as an individual anymore... but as a force of nature. Although he seems to possess some deviousness in taking control of the shiekah machines, he's less a super villain and more a natural disaster of swirling malice and hatred. I.E. this is a Ganon at the end of his rope. How many dozens of plans thwarted? How many reincarnations killed? How many loops tried? Over and over and over, until nothing but his hatred for Link, Zelda, and Hyrule is left.
“These toys are too much for you!” Greatest Ganondorf quote of all time! I literally still say it sometimes to this day to my daughter. Matter of fact I’m bout to tell her that now lol.
I LOVE the format for these. You do your research and put real thought into your presentations. Thank you for that. Can't wait to see your videos on Zelda, Impa and maybe even the races of Hyrule. Cheers!
Do you think calamity ganon would also be susceptible to a giant tasty banana being tugged on a string away from hyrule castle? I think I just solved the calamity ganon problem without violence.
Kinda make sense. The most trained and most powerful Link as to take down the most powerful Ganon. I mean he did killed hero of Time Link just to get full triforce and have the maidens with Zelda lock him away. The most strongest protagonist need most strongest antagonist.
@@tuilleri It probably when they do battle and the player loses to Ganon or Ganondorf. What happens is that Ganondorf gets Link Triforce.. Ganon altered the Golden Land to Dark World with images but Ganon wanted to conquer Hyrule too. Zelda and the other seven Sages locked him into Dark World with full power of the Triforce. Ganon curses Hyrule. Years past Sages have descendant which are the maidens, Zelda (Oot) had a descendant herself which is Zelda (LTTP). Ganon creates Avatar of himself which his name is Agahnim. Agahnim goes to Hyrule.. kills Zelda (LTTP) father.. king of Hyrule and sent each maiden to Dark World. He about to sent Zelda (LTTP) to the Dark the World. Link to past starts. The reason why this timeline exist is because this basically how first Zelda games started in. The bad time line where Ganondorf had to defeat Link the hero of time to take Triforce of Courage away from him. That whole gimmick of OOT. So the player can defeat Ganondorf and prevent the bad timeline happening.
I'm glad to see someone looked into the lore of the older games. Ganon was pretty cool in the older games, too, but most of the lore was in the instruction manual. Back then, the SNES just wasn't nearly powerful enough to really pull out all the cool cinematics of later games, but they still did pretty well as a whole. Funny thing, both the strongest Link and strongest Ganon are from the same game, although Link hadn't reached his full power yet. This is still the same Link that can do stuff like control the weather and generate earthquakes, mind you, but minus the extra experience from multiple adventures.
I would like to see a bad guy kinda like Gannon in OOT, but a bit different as well. I wanna see a bad guy take over and actually use his power to make things better, (like many baddies usually claim to want) at least on the surface. Kinda like a Kim Jun Un, who makes it appear things are great and people are happy, but if you dig a little deeper, you'll find some really bad stuff. That way, even though we are the good guy, many of the regular people in the story will see us as the bad guy. Then you have to expose the evil underneath the surface, which will only get some of the people on your side while the rest stay brainwashed or choose to stay because it benefited them personally, even if it's been bad for some. You'll have to start sneaky, then build a resistance movement once you get some support. I think it would be a cool and nuanced story. And obviously, it doesn't have to be a LOZ game, I'm just using Ganon as an example, because he takes over Hyrule multiple times.but
Which Ganon do you think is the strongest? Also, I didn't rank Demise - though he's sort of the father of all Ganons, he's not a Ganon if we're being strict :P AND YEAH I'LL USE A BETTER COLOUR FOR THE STATS BARS NEXT TIME MY BAD 😅
@@Zeltik Is it explained that each incarnation afterwards is only the embodiment of his hatred? I'm pretty sure it's Demise himself seeing as each Ganon has a Demon King form reminiscent of Demis' demon form with their human forms obviously being the same as his humanoid form that he fights SS Link in.
I think Dhemise should've been counted, he was technically the first Ganondorf since they all reincarnated from him. Although they have different names I, personally, count him as a Ganon
It’s actually interesting to think that the being Ganon is derived from Demise possessing (influencing? cursing?) Ganondorf, and when he becomes Ganon, he loses a part of himself to make room for Demise. So really, the only reason that we see Ganon so often is because Ganondorf is the most convenient vessel for Demise to reside in.
Vaati was the minish cap's version of Demise's curse, so that technically means Vaati would need to be counted if it was all of demise's reincarnations.
The Ocarina of time Gannon is still the only Gannon that actually looks kind of scary I don't know what it is he just gives me the creeps in his normal form 😳

Kacper Lubiński the most powerful ganon ever maybe if he gets the triforce of power??? Maybe a game where he wins since it seems to have a dark tone

Power is not “the dark side.” There is no dark side when it comes to the triforce. It is quite literally beyond good and evil.

Ganondorf is incredibly powerful. Can we talk about how insane Link is for going up against all these increasingly powerful reincarnations and winning?
Especially The Hero of Legend. He went up against a Ganon that had the full Triforce and still won.
Well, link has unlimited courage I guess.
You're not counting how many times first time players died to him. Some not first time players too. But... Mostly first time players.
Well he technically has no choice. He is Hylia's chosen hero and must defeat whatever threatens Hyrule. Which is kinda sad when you think about it because they gotta leave everything behind just to fulfill a prophecy
However link also gets stronger with every reincarnation. So that kind of just devalues your point or at least in my opinion it does.

Gonna need an updated list eventually. I reckon TotK is going to be the most powerful Ganon in canon 😁

It would be either Zelda from Twilight Princess or Breath Of The Wild. There's definitely a big gap between those two and the rest.
@@thegamerfe8751 idk Tetra would probably be up there too
They can do which Zelda is the hottest 😆. My vote is Twilight Princess Zelda.

Now we just need a ranking list for the Zeldas and we’ll have the whole Ttiforce.
Papulapop TRUE!!!

Do we factor in BotW when she had full access to the triforce?
@@XxAgeofLovexX How do we know she had the full triforce?

The real meaning was actually the complete OPPOSITE.

@SAMUEL CASTILLO
Majora is a weird case.

To think about it, yeah, Ganon can just make a wish to make him disappear, but he doesn't, and I guess the reason is that the Master Sword, that repells any evil, no matter how powerful, is immune to the Magic of the Triforce when controlled by Evil according to the A Link to the past Manual (The Japanese Translation is the more reliable one since the English has mistakes in Translation.)
My suggestion is, that Ganon realized that the Triforce is useless as long as the Hero is either ownimg this sword or as long as he is alive, so he decided to kill him with his own strength - and failed.
"He can fight off the Hero of Winds with ease" yeah round of applause he can dropkick a ten year old LOL

Ganon curses Hyrule. Years past Sages have descendant which are the maidens, Zelda (Oot) had a descendant herself which is Zelda (LTTP). Ganon creates Avatar of himself which his name is Agahnim.
