    I rode a libtech greenest board for 4 years which had a c3 profile and it sounds very similar to this board... Awesome on holding large carves and wide floaty POW turns...very fast board that just wanted to charge. You had to wrestle it if you wanted quick nimble turns though... Very exhausting after awhile.

    Been back and forth on buying this- would u say this one of those boards where if there’s a lot of people on the mountain u wouldn’t have much fun with since there’s not much room to make large turning carves? Thanks for your input

    Hey Angry! I currently ride a 2021 Capita BSOD. I’m thinking about expanding to a 2 board quiver and am considering the Lib Tech Retro Ripper or the Jones Storm Wolf. I’m looking for something more powder focused but could still rip groomers when I want to switch off my BSOD. Let me know your opinion between the Lib Tech or Jones, or if you suggest something else. Thanks man!

      You probably want the Jones. It's just a tad more versatile on a groomer than the Lib.

      I used to ride a BSOD, I have owned many different BSOD's. I now own a Storm Wolf. And IMO, best board I have ever ridden. For my riding style. I don't butter, I don't ride park anymore, I just resort ride. Groomers on non pow days and natural terrain on pow days. I like it fast and hard! I rode my StormWolf up at Keystone last Fri. Finally some North Peak and Outback riding and man, this thing is so much fun. The faster and powerful I ride it, it just keeps getting better and wanting more. Sound very similar to the Retro Ripper, maybe the Jones is more forgiving.

    do you prefere this beast or the amplid rockets like the surfari o the pentaquark for carving groomers and floating powder in tree lines?

    Think you’d stick with the 166 if you had one? Thas a big boy! They added a 161 this season which is quite intriguing 🤔

      www.gravitee.com make sure you bring them some Tequila or Mexican Beer if you're going to swap out numerous times.

    Hello Mr Angry Snowboarder, i really appreciate the honest reviews and work that you put into making them. Therefore, i am writing for an advice i have been riding Warpig 154cm and enjoying it a lot! Mainly because of my Big-Foot gens (12 US). We were getting a lot of powder recently in Poland and i started looking for a pow board, even though Warpig performs well in powder i took the shorter version with more freestyle aim. Hence, i was planning on getting lib tech orca 2020 159cm to get more float and expand my quiver to 2 board! However, guy in my local shop told me that there is no point in getting libtech Orca if i already own a Warpig, it would be as going into the same river twice lol. It would be great if you could give me some recommendations wheter to go with Orca or another board. THANKS!

    This or the Burton Skeleton Key if I'm looking for a fast board that rips Eurocarves and can fly down groomers?

    • @AngrySnowboarder
      @AngrySnowboarder  3 года назад

      This is a little more damp and stable which could help you with that flying down groomers thing. I think the sidecut for Eurocarves is better on the Skeleton Key.

    Wassup angry! First thks for your honest review! I want to change my old gnu vertigo danny kass camber. I’m 5’10 / 190lbs. 75% groomers, 20% park, 5% trees. I want to improve my carving and still have fun in the park. Gnu gremlin, capita asymulator, gnu rc c3 or burton custom camber?? Kindly revert with size and binding you suggest! Thank you, you are the man!!

      Gnu RC C3. Get the wide whatever it is 57 59 can't remember and too lazy to look it up. Slap some Rome Vices on it and go shred.

    cant stand libtechs, I base that on zero, absolutely totally nothing. I don't know what it is maybe the graphics? maybe they just seem over priced? maybe I'm just a kook because this one sounds alright.
