Louis's 1946 Mercury Coupe Hot-Rod Restoration!

Hey viewers, Thanks for watching the story on Louis's post-war production 1946 Mercury Coupe restoration that he has owned for many years. This period correct hot-rod has been a New England car in Massachusetts for many years showing signs of rust and decay. During the 800 hour restoration of this vehicle we had many challenges. The vehicle is sporting its gloss black finish, originally lacquer paint but was removed and re-coated with top of the line basecoats, clearcoats and undercoats. We also upgraded the engine in this car to a later year flathead v8, floor shift conversion, suspension drop, disc brake conversion, custom upholstery interior, custom steel louvered hood, upgraded Dakota digital dash gauge cluster and clock.
