@@OctopixeIbrother, the only thing getting cooked in this is you, you ranked the shrimp higher than the reaper! Your rankings are a disgrace to the Subnautica community
@@OctopixeI I’m fairly sure the shrimp is widely considered by the entirety of the Subnautica community to be extremely bad in comparison to it’s og game counterpart, the reaper (one of subnautica’s best creatures) so, no, the shrimp is generally not considered “cool”. Now that’s not to say you can’t have your own opinion buuuuuuuuuuuut… Definitely a downgrade from the reaper. You should also do an unbiased ranking of the leviathans based on the community’s general perception of the leviathans, which would definitely yield some evidence to support the shrimp being bad (even it’s name is bad!) but in the end, it’s your opinion and you are entitled to that, also this comment was way too long.

-I really like the Ventgardens "conceptually". I know they may not be as spooky as other leviathans, but they are so cool from a biological point of view. A superorganism that maintains its own little ecosystem with in its body, with other lifeforms living inside it, forming a symbiotic relationship. It's just unfortunate that they don't move around. -Reaper would definitely be high up there for me, as it's really the only Leviathan that actually keeps me on my toes. It's one of the few enemies that doesn't glow in the dark too, and I kind of wish more creatures were like that. Subnautica goes a little overboard with the inexplicable bioluminescence that a lot of creatures have. I also kind of appreciate the Oarfish design inspirations of the Reaper. Really the only thing I don't like about it, is the sound design. The creature roars, and it roars in such a way that sounds like it is doing so in open air rather than underwater. No sea creature would sound like that. -I agree that the Sea Dragon is very goofy. It looks rather out of place in this game, more like a fantasy creature than an actual alien lifeform. It has the upper body of a draconic reptile, and the lower body of a squid. The arms look weird, and I don't see why it needs them. It never seems to use them for anything. I guess the only saving grace is that I like the clear evolutionary relationship they have with Sea Emperors. -Honestly, I don't really like the Shadow Leviathan's design all too much. The glowing mouth doesn't look right to me, and I don't know why a creature would evolve such a trait. Apparently it is for luring prey, but no prey other than plankton is gonna fall for this, and it just gives away the predator's position. An anglerfish can get away with a glowing lure, because they can position it away from themselves. -I like the Iceworm too, but I'm kind of disappointed by it's absence in the water. We know from the cover art that it is amphibious, but we never see this in game, and it must be too, because we are on an iceshelf where we encounter it. There would be water below.

Glow whale (cool interactions but still boring) 8. Sea treader (cool but some people never see them) 7. Reefback (very iconic) 6. chelicerate (boring shrimp looks to much like a real sea creature) 5. Sea emperor (very big and cool) 4. Ghost leviathan (cool glow effects) 3. Sea dragon (cute not scary) 2. Reaper leviathan (the first sighting is just iconic and a cannon event for every subnautica player) 1. Shadow leviathan (cool animations and design)
I get it no matter what people say about below zero every single creature in the Subnautica games has its own charms. My personal favorite is the ghost leviathan with the shadow leviathan coming in at a close second
I definitely think all the creatures in the game have good things about them, I may not like them all, but they definitely have thought and effort put into them
The shadow leviathan is a$$ it looks like a fricken caterpillar. I like the sea dragon the most because it is giant and has these terrifying but cool roars, not to mention it can actually destroy your cyclops pretty easily and spit fire balls
What I love about the Reaper is that even if I know which biomes they spawn in its always scary to go to those places early game. Its dark and murky and all you hear is them making noises, the whole I can hear but cant see is still scaring me. Too bad that the PDA thing about if you can hear it then it can see you is not an actual thing in the game, would be cool.
I agree, i understand while some might disagree, but for a casual player, i agree, i personally only disagree with the garden. He is just cool and chill.
I will rank on if they were real and/or were still alive 12. Sea Treader The Sea treader remind me of crabs and sea slugs, they don’t really do anything and would probably be used a great food source 11. Reefback I know it’s low but it’s blind which would make it easy to be eaten But it’s very beautiful 10. Venti Garden It’s not realistic as it won’t have body area to fit its organs and having a giant open hole would make it vulnerable 9. Glow whale Very cool but it’s wired a animal with bioluminescence would be so close to the surface But it’s super cute and adorable 8. Sea Dragon How would an animal breathe fire underwater? Also it’s way too similar to the sea emperor 7. Sea Emperor It doesn’t make sense how it would speak and cure the disease but it’s a very cool design 6. Reaper Very alien like and I love its design 5. Chelicerate Kinda a wired name but I love its jaw mechanism 4. Ice worm Terrifying but it has no mouth or eyes so I don’t know how it would eat 3. Shadow Leviathan Amazing design but it just resembles the ghost leviathan somehow and it stands out in the crystal caves 2. Ghost leviathan I love the design and the bioluminescence is great it just has a wired name and doesn’t have a mouth 1. Frozen leviathan terrifying and it’s scary how it can walk on land and water, you could never escape it! Bonus. No hate, but this has to be one of the worst rankings I've seen
I mean, in the end it's my opinion, there can't really be a "worst ranking"
ice worm is the worst one lmfao
For me it would be: 1.Ghost Leviathan 2.Shadow Leviathan 3.Ice Worm
pretty fair ranking, ghost leviathan is a popular one
Me personally I'd have the reaper at #1
@@field8669 fair enough, it's a fan favourite

@@OctopixeI damn, I was so confident that you were Irish. My bad
@@OctopixeI thinking about it now, I can definitely hear it. The accents kinda sound similar though
