Your second burnout is exactly my situation. You really put the words on how I’m feeling, thank you! I’m currently on a short break that my doctor suggested, but I’m actively looking for a new job. Fingers crossed I find a place where I feel my best!

Breaks are always important. Take all the time you need & all the best in finding a new job when you’re ready!

I really identify with everything you said! Especially about how if you never recover from burnout it kind of keeps snowballing. I also came to the conclusion that I need to get away from the laptop and use my hands on something JUST FOR FUN. I've been painting off an on and am going to be learning how to sew! Like you said, I think it's so important to do something just for the sake of creation. Great video :)

    GCSE's hahaha
No really, my mental health is struggling and i'm in a bit of a panic because it's not like I can stop revising and take a nice relaxing break 16 days before my exams start. Sitting at my desk makes me want to (and most of the time, actually) cry. I get good grades in English and I'm happy with my maths grade but I'm struggling with science and panicking about the sheer mass of information I don't know for geography .I've not even touched on French. This is a mess and I really need help. it feels like i'm in some sort of trance where nothing matters and my exams that are legit in two weeks feel like some far away event i don't need to even think about. I used to be so motivated and i get so angry at and dissapointed in myself for not achieving what I want to get done. I started crying writing this comment
I'm in a bit of a struggle right now
I just want this to be over
    I think i need help
i don't know why i'm saying this to you, sorry. i meant to just share my burnout experience but it turned into an emotion dump.

love this linda!! i've been wanting to try pottery too sometime, for now i've been crocheting and i agree that especially as designers, its really comforting to do creative work for the fun of it and not any data driven outcome
