The first time my wife came to the airport with me, she looked around and said there are a lot of cargo shorts here and my CFI said " yep, that's the uniform." I had never noticed, that was just how normal people dressed in my opinion. I was wearing cargo shorts and new balance sneakers at the time.

Bryan, your videos are always funny, but when you did the freeze frame of ALL the NB shoes, that’s when I really LOL’d. Great job!
I've got most of the outfit down (shorts, New Balance shoes, a couple of Hawaiian shirts, and hats galore), but at my age, when I don shorts for the first warm day of the season, I have to yell, "KNEES ALERT!" loudly, at least five minutes before I go out the door. I think it's the law, or something...
Pilot's license? Hawaiian shirts? Cargo shorts? New Balance sneakers? Ha! All I have is a drone license and a funny hat, and I still had a very pretty lady talk to me just about a week ago. She even put her hand on my shoulder.
Okay, she was pushing me out of her office, but it still counts!
Brian, I appreciate all this useful content that you provide. I even like the aircraft spotting highlights that you mix in with the video. Like that F-22 osprey. I bet all those Coast Guard Pilots feel lucky to be able to fly that bird!

I usually wear jeans, but I do have a couple pair of cargo shorts. But when it comes to shoes, I'm a Skechers man myself.
Only thing better than cargo shorts are bib overalls!

Shockingly accurate! LOL! Cargo shorts and cargo pants are a must, the left cargo pocket is perfect for the pre-flight checklist, meanwhile the right holds the paper towel for checking the oil, the fuel testing cup and there's even a long slender pocket for the fuel stick! Before climbing in, the phone and pen move down to the cargo pocket cause once I've crammed into a C150 trying to fish my phone out of my pocket while in flight will surely cause a CRASH.
ROTFL!!!! To bad Rudder and I couldn't make it.. The ladies LUV Rudder.. Toss him into a "Back to the FSDO" shirt and a pair of Flying Eyes shades and there ya go!!!
Huh. I pointed out to my wife that she is the luckiest woman on earth, perhaps in all of history and her facial expression wasn't what I expected. At first I thought the sound she made as she turned and walked out of the room was dismissive, maybe even mocking, but I realized she's just overwhelmed by gratitude for her lot in life and her incredible luck meeting me.

Great video, Bryan! But unfortunately I now know why I haven't been able to complete my IFR training; I've been wearing the wrong attiire! It's hard to advance when you're wearing jeans, a polo shirt, ball cap, and off-brand athletic shoes. On the plus side, I am saving the world from very pasty legs... 😂
