    so does this technique work mainly for plastics and resin pieces? or could I use it on ceramics

      depends on surface- porous yes- glazed.... not sure

    Hi, I liked your video.
    I've seen some videos of people painting miniatures with vallejo-type paintings, but I think it can also be done with tube acrylics as you show it.
    Also the use of liquid paints in larger pieces would be more expensive, what do you think.

      Yeah, when I do big pieces I usually get the cheaper student grade acrylics, otherwise it get's expensive. Thanks for watching :)

    You get a better effect if you wash with enamels or oils over a gloss or matte coats .. Acrylics are not great for this process as they dry too quick. Paint your figure with acrylics clear coat go in with your washes and filters then matte coat satin or gloss depending on what finish your after to seal your work.

      not sure what you mean here? My washes are always the base coats. Then I paint/dry brush on top. I actually like how the acrylics dry fast. I don't have the patience for oils :)

      @@SteveFerrera is your base coat a primer? or its the paint already? like no primer?
