Creating scenes with a 3-dimensional presence inside after effects can be really tricky, after all, it is after effects and not Cinema 4D! But what if I told you there is a trick to kind of do 3D scenes inside after effects? It is more like 2.5D but to the eyes of the general audience, it is definitely 3D! let's see how it is done.

it rotates in one place, after parenting or without, no changes, just rotates in one place, not moving around planet

You need to place the null object in the middle of the scene and the orbiter far from it on the side, then parent them.

Really good ! But , ... it s a satelite NOT a planete ... because he have to turn around a star to be a planete , AND animation is more difficults because the intern lights have to rotate during the revolution. ;-) Maybe for the next video, if EA could do it

Hi there, The orbiter layer should be on top of the planet layer in the timeline and they should be 3d layers
