@@tomodata1387 I've got a model D wireless but was going to buy the V3 Pro. Stuck with the MDW and still happy with it.

should mention the deathadder v3 has better senor than the model D.
even tho probably no one can feel it, it's still good to bring it up considering the price difference.

i like the glorious D wired i wanted to get the d- wireless but its too pricey in EU 100€... it still uses old sensor. is there a similair shape mouse with better sensor?

Why get v3? Ummm better buttons, better sensor, better body design, lighter, better built, higher quality materials, better QC control, also looks better. Honestly though, based on the buttons alone, which are absolutely horrendous on my model d minus, creaky squeaky weird grinding noises, I’d get the v3 pro. I have the razer viper v2 pro, amazing clicks.

All of these things are marginally better. This isn’t going from a C to an A. Its an A- to an A for 150 dollars and no DPI switch or RGB. I said in the video the v3 is a better mouse, no doubt, but it’s not 70 dollars better than the Model D nor is it worth 150 dollars. Things like “better sensor, better body design, QC Control, and looks” are just silly to me man. Better sensor. 99 vs 100. Better body design. Literally a straight rip off of the Model D lol. Moving one dimension 1 mm one way or the other isn’t “new.” Quality control. Every company has good quality control. I’ve owned plenty of products from both Glorious and Razer and had good and bad experiences with each. And looks? 1000% subjective. Razer has made some gaudy stuff over the years, so yes this is a refreshing change. Again, this video is just one man’s opinion, but claiming this thing just blows the Model D out of the water (which has been out since October 2021) is disingenuous. It’s a marginal upgrade.

V3 is better mouse no doubt! But as video suggest, is clearly not worth extra 70 USD for very marginal upgrade unless you are clearly set to have a Razer Deathadder.
Owned Viper v2 Pro, and it was just a lighter Viper Ultimate with better clicks and anything else is just a same without side grips pre-installed, like literally same and was it worth another 150 USD for "upgrade" ? While using common sense? Nah. Nope it wasn't "upgrade", more like side grade for preference.
My DWireless is solid, literally no QC issues on my batch but still well aware that there were issues with many batches but that's why there is a warranty for it. LITERALLY change it for new one if problem occurs, so QC shouldn't be as concerning as many putting out to be.
Buttons on MDW is solid, lighter than razer opticals, less than 1% worst sensor performance and probably not noticeable in use, Heavier shell (5g), materials are same / Thought coating on razer mouse is better, QC are probably slightly more controlled but wouldn't care since warranty, looks is subjective, feet on DAV3PRO is faster which is also preference.
After all of those differences, while using a common sense, is worth going for another 70 usd for "upgrade" ? Nah...

@@penzuugi I have money to spare so I bought it. Stop arguing whether it is worth the money or not, that is subjectively up to the individual. Objectively, it is better in pretty much every aspect.

My first gaming mouse in 2003 was the mx518 from Logitech at some point in 2008 I upgraded to a DeathAdder and never looked back got the 2013 version and later 5 years after got the 2017-2018 version at some point around 2019 I got a razor Mambo wireless and that was a terrible mice for various reasons that I won't go into. The razor DeathAdder V2 pro wireless was pretty good and it was a huge improvement over the mamba at some point last year I got a model d wireless and I've never looked back easily one of the best mice I've ever used razor death out of V2 pro had some mushy buttons I didn't like but overall it was okay. When I saw the praise for the V3 version I can understand but at the same time the no DPI switch on top is a huge deal breaker I rock 450 DPI along with a secondary 650 I like to be able to switch between those two modes not to mention another a 850 DPI setting for desktop mode it might be minor for some but I like having a DPI switch and the lack of one on the death order V3 on top is just disappointing I'm sure the mice is good but until I see it under sub $100 I won't be buying this going to try out the model d pro wireless but I think I'm done with razor and it's hype

Yeah like I was saying in that video I bet the Model D Pro surpasses the Deathadder V3 and becomes the new "king" of wireless ultralight mice. I'm looking forward to receiving mine and reviewing it.

Optical Switch on Deathadder is way better than the typical mechanical switch on the Model D .. also the superior sensor , that's where the price comes in .. there's also no Debounce which makes the mouse actuate at the moment you press it since Mechanical Switches mouse had Debounce Delay to prevent a double click .. ofcourse its not noticable in real life usage but it is what it is ..
I would like to add 1 more .. Optical also more durable than Mechanical Switches .. so ??? I'd rather spend MORE to buy the latest and greatest instead of something that might fail on me after 2 years of use .. just like my G502 Hero , it double clicks after 1 year 4 months .. Im playing Dota alot so I spam the clicks alot

have both, i like the model d better but its super slippery bc i have sweaty hands, especially the glossy! DA optical switches, battery and sensor are on another level...but not for the price difference. btw my perfect shape is the g703 which i love but again, sweaty hands

Great video although I think the razer price increase is for the optical switches (no double clicks), better sensors and 8k polling rate. It’s up to you (the consumer) to decide if the optical switches are your kind of thing. Great review.

Me too. Had mine on order since August of last year, they've delayed shipping like 4 times now, which has me a bit worried. Like what's going on with it that they've had to delay it 4 times, but also I'd rather get a good, quality product than something rushed out of the door. Tough balance.

I wanted to like the Model D, but when both of my copies the dpi and side buttons stop working after a few days... yeah my DAV3 comes in tmw and luckily I still have my G703 as a backup. Don't get anything Glorious the QC has not gotten better and it's close to being as good as the DAV3 spec wise either. Point being, don't waste money on something CHEAP like the Model D and just get the DAV3, I've tried a lot of mice over the years and aside from my G703 which I love and if there was a pro version I would get that over the DAV3, but I always end up going back to Razer mice as they just end up being WAY better build quality in my experience.

That's a shame to hear. Hard to argue against two bad experiences with a company for sure. It could be anecdotal, but I've just had the exact opposite experience with Glorious stuff. I have both a wired and wireless version of the Model D, used both since launch (one for work one for gaming) and both still work perfectly. No creaking, no DPI or side button issues, nothing, whereas every Razer Deathadder mouse I've used over the years develops a skipping scroll wheel issue after a few months of use.
I would have loved to keep the DAV3, just hated the DPI switch was on the bottom. Glad to see the direction they're going though.

@@MercuryTV I wanted to like the Model D, but I can't help when back o oback copies of the mouse don't work. In contrast to every Razer mice I've ever owned, I only ever replaced it cuz I saw something new, not because it ever failed me. Just taught me never to trust smaller or lesser companies when it came to my peripherals. Anytime I've bought something that wasn't from a flagship, I ended up having to replace it with something by one of the big companies as the items always failed.
