I don't know if I'd say greatest of all time. I personally LOVE Joker. And I love how his origins have always been different; making him the one mystery Batman CAN'T solve. His varying psychosis are also fun to see portrayed. But Heath Ledger did what very few thought the Joker would be like. Since like 98% of Jokers before Dark Knight were ALL clinically insane the argument could be made that not one of them was responsible for their actions; they're insane. But Heath Ledger's version was just simply an anarchist. He wasn't mentally impaired or saved on ANY way. He chose to be that way. Which makes his character more compelling that a villain who is unhinged due to psychological trauma.
Thanos is delusional. Somewhere he actually believed his own theory so completely that it became his obsession. He couldn't stop even if he wanted to. He's basing his whole idea on a plan that he in NO WAY has the ability to predict. Thanos may live longer than a human, but he's not going to live centuries. Now if an Eternal or a Celestial made that same decision, you couldn't accuse them of being short sighted. They literally live for millions of years. They have SEEN that the universe is finite. Thanos' actions were for himself. To make a point that he was right. It was his ego he wanted to hold over everyone.

It's just hilarious to see someone have a candid moment like that on camera. Most of us never see that kind of a reaction in our lifetimes, so it's fun to be a fly on the wall just for a moment :)

Props to Loki, he went from being sent by Thanos to Earth to take the Tesseract to making a heroic last stand to keep him from getting it.
This comment deserves more likes. I never realized the whole arc Loki had by turning from ally of thanos to attempting to kill him as his last act.

Maple thirsting over Cap is one of the funniest things I've seen in a very long time 🤣
That opening shot where we just see Thanos obscured in shadow, but also lit by the gorgeous blue lights and lens flares. It was unreal. For six years we had been warned that Loki would one day face retribution for his failure in 2012, and that one day a man would upend the MCU like the storm on the horizon he was. And he finally arrived and was completely worth the hype and more.
It was like being a dinosaur watching the asteroid that doomed them arrive.
I waited so long to see Thanos and MAN was it worth it. This is one of my fave movies right here.
I love how Peter just reaches for Ned without looking and just kinds gently slaps him in the face. 🤣🤣
The Cap reveal, as Nomad, when he catches the spear, then steps out of the shadows, is one of the best moments in the MCU, IMO.

I had a Captain America screensaver when my niece was about three. When she saw Cap with the beard, she took my phone and went to her room. After a couple of minutes, she came back and said "I called the pretty man, he won't answer me!"

I took the day off to watch this. I have been hoping and waiting. Maple is so empathetic and intelligent it makes me tear up. This is Marvel's best attempt at storytelling and I cannot wait to witness her genuine reaction. Maple you're a goddess.

Yes, the Power stone is volatility incarnate. That's it's entire nature. That is why no normal person can hold it. The others are fine to run around with, but unless one is extraordinary, one will not be able to wield that power without permanent damage.

Nidavellir is the realm of the Dwarves in Norse myth, master craftsmen who forged Mjolnir, Gungnir (Odin's spear of fire), and many other objects for the Aesir. Eitri is one such mentioned in the Eddas. It's amusing that in this film they made Eitri the Dwarf gigantic, but still played by Peter Dinklage lol
The Collector and the Grandmaster aren't BLOOD related brothers, they're part of a group known as the Elders of the Universe, people who are the last of their species. They're brothers in THAT sense, that they're part of that group.
This was completely enjoyable. Maple's reactions are adorable and genuine. Can't wait for Part 2...
This is, hands down the absolute best of the comics that young boys grew up on. For you, it will probably be part 2, but still this is probably the best movies ever made, and the ultimate end to the MCU storyline.

When you said "It looks like a skull," It is. Nowhere is a kind of trading port that was built inside the head of a dead Celestial. It shows just how big they can get. Celestials are of varying sizes, but generally, Nowhere is an average size, I believe. Ego mentions them in Guardians 2, and I think The Collector also mentions them in Guardians 1, when talking about the Infinity Stones.
The Celestials are also a big part of the Eternals

Only the power stone (purple) is a struggle to hold given the amount of pure energy that surges from it. The space stone aka Tesseract (blue) as well but only after great use and while it was encased in the cube

I was a little kid when the Infinity Gauntlet Saga happened in the comics. I remember my dad giving me the issue that contained my heroes showdown with Thanos, him warning me that it would be heavy, and my subsequent heartbreak after reading it. With that history I thought I'd be prepared for what happened in Infinity War. Alas, I still ended up as one of those sobbing patrons slowly shuffling my feet out of the theater. 😆

Never seen credits roll on a movie with the audience in such utter silence. Stunned disbelief. A moment the MCU has yet to match (and likely never will) in my opinion.

This is one of the problems I have with the MCU.
I get WHY theyre doing it but it just doesnt make sense.
Wanda is powered by the Mind Stone (In the MCU, in the comics shes powered by the Aether a.k.a the Reality Stone but it doesnt matter, its an infinity stone regardless)
Vision is literally the *living incarnation* of the actual Mind Stone.
Theyre both essentially weilders of infinity stones and these enemies are strong enough to not only block these attacks but actually fight Vision and Wanda 1 on 1.
HOW the actual F are they losing to Cap and Natasha?
Natasha is insanely trained and skilled on top but shes still just a human.
Cap is stronger than a normal human, faster than a normal human and smarter than a normal human... but hes not really super charged to the level of Wanda or Vision.
I get it, they need to get all the characters badass screen time and they also need a way to reintroduce the characters to eachother...
But they shouldve found a way to make it the other way around.
Nat and Cap being attacked and Wanda and Vision showing up to save them.
These ememies holds powers equal to someone wielding an infinity stone, they should swat Cap and Nat like flies.
Cap is based on the ultimates cap...so he is more than a little strong. He is on spider-mans level...now combine that with being the best martial artist in the universe and yeah...plus they were taking them on as a team while vision is injured and Wanda is fighting basically 2 on 1....so it isn't that egregious. The motivation of thanos is more movie breaking. Just create more resources with the stones instead.
I mean to be fair vision was stabbed so
Wanda and Vision were caught off guard and Caps team have been a team trio for quite some time since they went into hiding since civil war. They are also more trained and experienced fighters.
Or how about how underused the reality stone was? Why not take off tonys armor or strip dr strange of his powers?
