I have a few I got from the UK; there made more by hand than most other knives at their price are not. That is why I like them, even with the small imperfections they may have, I think having some in my collection is nice to have.
That's very good value considering someone had to ship it over the pond. Ashley Harrison took the firm over a few years ago and improved quality without upping the price, so used knives may not present any better value. Ashley also makes 'start to finish' specials himself for a good price too. Ltd in the US would be Inc. I'd guess. EDIT: Michael (AW's Production Manager at the time), and his son Ashley, took over the firm. Apologies.
Sweet lambsfoot. I just got one of the large buffalo horn knives and a stag lambsfoot barlow from AW&S. I'm really enjoying mine. I think the QC has gotten much better.
Love my Arthur Wrights. My only real complaint with the steel is that you only have to say the word 'moisture' and the blade rusts. Unfortunately that blade is slightly over UK legal length but i still bought one along with plenty of legal ones with different handles. Moonraker knives in the UK currently have some of their exclusive Spalted Beech handle lambsfoots back in stock and they look lovely. LTD is short for limited. 👍
If you keep in mind that this end of Sheffield knives are made to be work knives and the general designs were created when they were being sold to people from the Yukon to the Australian outback they make sense. You wanted tough that would last a lifetime in places where you can't easily replace them. I have a Trafalgar brand version of this knife, almost exactly the same but not as well fit and finished. It's a work knife and is very good for that.

I really feel like the American knife market undervalues A. Wright & Son knives, and I plan on buying more!

I plan on picking up more of these knives. I think they're a great value, and I like the fit and finish for the price. Thanks for watching!

I really like mine. I think they're great for the money. I also like the steel, but I tend to like tougher steels over others. Thanks for watching!

I'll have to check them out. Thanks for the heads up!
