As someone who bankrupted myself and the next few generations of mine by purchasing an unhealthy amount of A. Wright knives recently, I hope you enjoy that 39! I love Sheffield stuff. And I'm happy GEC is paying homage to the old king of blades!
Hey, great video as always. I got an A Wright & Son "barlow" a while ago, and it looks just about identical to your original sheffield one, only the bolster on my AW&S is just a tad longer. Both seem like pretty sweet knives, especially for the price.
I just got GEC's Bunny Knife, and it really is a dead ringer for your Sheffield (Rodgers?) example - in all respects apart from price! I hear what you say about Blade Forums - I prefer to think about it as a broad church; sure there are some opinionated and myopic and over-sensitive individuals on there, but any hobby has a tendency to attract such characters. Plenty others are interesting, generous-hearted and reasonable people. I suspect the perception of the ratio of the former to the latter type of member can be skewed because the former tend to be more vocal! But back to the knife. It's really very nice indeed, pure EDC fodder. There's a tasteless large etch of BUNNY KNIFE on the main blade (which I'll soon have off), and some blurb from a Mr Campagna on the tube's back label about rabbits in Australia which I confess is somewhat lost on me, but these are mere trappings, the knife's a good 'un!

Thanks for the comment and for watching!

I'm a HUGE fan of A Wright & Son cutlery. I'll be picking up more of them in the future. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the in depth comment, and for watching! Maybe I’ll give blade forums a chance. Maybe.
The actual Sheffield looks a heckuva lot better to my eye. Appreciate what GEC is tryna do, but the originals...
Thanks for watching!!
