    What size wheel hex?

  • @jeffmullinix7916
    @jeffmullinix7916 2 года назад

    Here is the thing I hate about raising up a rc rock crawler . When you do this this puts the weight of the rig even higher above the axles . In doing this the incline is even less for roll overs . Try to keep weight as close as possible to the the axle . Axles are the center or 0 CG . Any weight above the axle is top heavy and prone to roll overs . Raising a rig is just stupid . Now if a person needs to raise a rig it is best to change out the axle to portal axles this does do two things it raises the axles for clearance from debris and raise the rig also . Adding wheel weights always helps . There are a lot of people that thinks a rock crawler are mud trucks . They are not the same at all . Here in Southern IL we dont have rocks to crawl on . It's mostly farm land DIRT until it rains then it is MUD driving across creeks is all mud . The only rock formations is in the Shawnee National Forest . There are some nice places there to rock crawl . My friends like those Mud tires . I like skill so I use Rock Tires when I take my rigs out for a walk . They do well in light mud and do great on rocks . Mud tires do one this well and that is to swim in mud and horrible on rocks .

    • @RCVOODOO
      @RCVOODOO  2 года назад +5

      Raising this rig does very little to the cog not to mention its straight shit in stock form. I believe we all know about COG. your opinion is yours. raising a rig is not stupid. Making it more capable with more flex. the give and take on COG is far outweighed by the benefits. What are you talking about portals... No one wants portals on a jimny. This is a TRAIL TRUCK not a rock crawler. You have bad vibes bro.
