- So as much as I dig this machine, the clearance on rocks was its only real flaw of the FMS 1/6 Suzuki Jimny. SO WE FIXED THAT!!! And this vid will show you how too! Although Buzz peaced out with his lady 🙄

I know it right? I built a 6s brushless version, but it broke almost instantly. Need to revisit that idea 💡🤔
@@disciplinerc maybe try what the scx10II deadbolt comes with? sure its not the fastest but the electrics are solid with plenty of power, for speed tho, im not so sure what to use, then again, im pretty new to brusless

@@disciplinerc Finally got my battery situation sorted out (this is my first time using a LiPo battery and I am not fond of setting my house on fire), and it's going for its first drive this afternoon. I'm so jazzed about this thing.
....and then yeah, I'm going to have to lift it and throw on my Pro Line Boggers that are way too big for my SCX10 (1.9s, which will look weird, but I have them laying around). My sister agreed to snag the most raggedy Barbie doll her girls have for a driver, too.
I don't understand why anybody would move the servo and relocated at the bottom when you lift the truck put a longer screw in the servo horn and the steering rod put a spacer in between it with the longer screw works perfect saves a lot of time and you don't have to modify anything of that nature near the servo
Less strain on the servo horn and the spacer needed I suppose. Plus I liked the way it looked better. To each their own I guess bro, it's just a toy truck in the end 😅👍
i never figured out how to get the grill off to paint the inside... and i didnt think of mounting the servo from underneath instead, i just stole one of the extenders for the shocks since i didnt remount them
It's a lot of fuss tearing these things down. If you don't get the sequencing right, you have to go back in and redo a lot of work 😅
How fun would it be to go full nerd and coil over long travel this rig like we do in the full size community.

Yep, it's under the hood. I can fit a 5200mah 4s in there, so if you went 5200 2-3s it would be fine. Lots of room

Those ISDT esc's are really good... but both of mine have this strange glitch where after giving it full throttle & letting off.. The next time you touch the throttle even a bit, it does a little blip of full power before doing what you wanted it to do.
They're running on different rigs with completely different transmitters/recievers so it's not that, I've messed around with the settings but they still do it.
The only way I've found to stop it is to turn down the throttle end points..

I found it really tricky to setup right as well, came with no instructions in the package. But after pulling out many hairs got it sorted. It does have its gremlins though still for sure
funny thing is that rc car is slightly more powerful than the original 2 stroke full size truck.

hi! looking at you, it looks simple : ) by raising the suspension, did you lengthen the tie rod which goes from the front axle to the steering servo? where is the original length? thanks.
Its the stock length. I did need to put spacers under the pivot balls to reduce the steep angle and reduce binding
