Update on coconut oil as beard conditioner. This morning I tried the coconut oil as a beard conditioner as per our previous back and forth comments and so far, so good. Eight or so hours later I like the way my beard looks and feels. I used King's Bounty oil from Defined Beard Co. and overall I'm giving it a thumbs up. I will be using the coconut oil conditioner trick again and when I do I'll probably switch to some other beard oil brand just to see what the results will be (I have several brands and scents of oil and rotate pretty much on the daily). Thanks for the coconut oil tip JT 👍
Joe, Thank you for showing me so much about this awesome product. Coconut Oil is the most important oil in my beard routine. I use both fractionated and regular coconut oil throughout the day. Morning: Just out of the shower I apply fractionated oil first,(The beard just soaks it up!!)then I apply any one of my favorite beard oils. It really helps with the viscosity of the thicker oils especially with any Castor Oil in them. Midday: I’ll dampen my beard and apply fractionated coconut oil to give my beard a moisture boost if it’s feeling crispy! Bedtime: I apply regular Coconut oil to a damp beard as a beard butter. This is so essential for keeping up with the moisture especially in the summer and winter. My wife is very sensitive to heavy scents and It’s fragrance dissipates in minutes after application.(No complaints) So many benefits to using this product!!
Hey man, Thank you for watching and supporting the channel. I'm glad that the coconut oil is working for you. I have also used fractionated with my fav beard oils with great results. Chat soon....
@@Joet9 yes virgin olive oil is good for the beard l put it in at night and leave it all night and rinse it out in the morning shower and put it on all over my body as well and drink 2 Tbs. In the morning as well.

@@Joet9 I do use coconut oil, as a matter of fact you are the one that introduced me to it a couple of years ago with one of your videos and I have been using it ever since, thanks ! I have saved a lot of money using coconut oil 👍🏆.
Love oil that has coconut oil in it. Kinda new to the blow dryer tho. I know your beard is supposed to be dry when you blow dry. But after I blow dry I put butter in. But my beard is supposed to be wet when I put butter in? What do I do joe lol
Hey Christopher 👋 I know right…..🤣 i’d say if you use beard butter after blow drying that as long as the beard can still be combed without pulling, tangles or knots…. You should be good 👍
As a side note….Defined Beard Co has a great in beard feel. Coconut oil high up on the ingredient list. If you buy feel free to use JT15 at checkout to save a little$

I haven’t been using conditioner for a while now. My beard just doesn’t require it. Although if and when I do feel the beards needs some loving, coconut oil added to conditioner will bring it back.
So, instead of washing and rinsing my beard first and then using conditioner and letting it set for a few minutes before rinsing out, I need to wet my beard at start of shower then apply coconut oil and let it set for duration of shower, shave my bald head, etc. and THEN use beard wash to wash out the coconut oil at end of showering?
@@Joet9 okie dokie. I only use conditioner once or at most twice a week. Used some yesterday morning after a once weekly stripping beard wash. Think I'll wait til midweek and give the coconut oil thing a try. Curious and anxious to see the results.
Hey Bubba, I don’t recommend using daily, it will prob over condition and could clog the pores on the skin if overused.I use the coconut oil as a beard oil and apply to a damp dry beard just like any other oil. ….OR I will apply a little heavier to damp dry hair a few minutes before showering and wash out with beard wash. One other technique is if you have some conditioner, add a little coconut oil to it while applying and it will intensify the feel. Experiment with it, you will like the way it feels.
