Hiking to The Glecksteinhütte from Grindelwald in Switzerland

- During a roadtrip trough Switzerland an Italy, Dirk and I hiked from Grindelwald to the Glecksteinhütte! In this video I will show you what to expect and how the hike will feel and look like.

We started at Hotel Wetterhorn, hiked for 3,5 hours to the hut and climbed over 1100 meters! All before descending the same route. The route is well marked and not difficult, although you need to be moderately fit to enjoy it. You will walk alongside a steep mountain and have views all the way to the Bachalpsee on the other side of the valley, you will have to pass trough a waterfall and if you're lucky you will be greeted by some mountaingoats at the top.

Just showed this to my hubby and as much as he wants to see ibex, and his size 13 feet would have a hard time negotiating that narrow path. :(

Onwijs gave video en wat een mooie route! Hoe schat jij de moeilijkheidsgraad in? Ik wil zelf komende september ook ergens in Europa een week wat routes gaan lopen, maar weet niet precies waar ik moet beginnen. Ik heb nul ervaring met dit soort wandelingen, maar deze route ziet er heel gaaf uit. Ik hoor graag van je!
