    Good job bud! You’re on the right path. I did it the hard way (stupid me) I typed it in illustrator and converted to svg, then svg to stl and adjusted the z axis (thickness) to make it pop out, then measured on 3d builder, copied, then subtracted or intersected. Heck I can’t remember. You taught me good with this video and many others… you should be proud!!

    This is a great video and very similar to the process I use.
    One tip I might suggest is to separate your stl file into one per each color. Bring the background layer in Bambu Studio first, then right-click the object and select Add Part > Load to load the next layer. It will put it directly on top of the background.
    This makes it so you'll only have THREE filament changes instead of the ten you currently have (and will eliminate all the "poop" that each filament change wastes).
    Great job, dude!!!

    Thank you so much. Is there anywhere that explains how to open it in something that works with flashforge instead of BambuLabs?? I’ve managed to get it that far. As you can tell I’m a newbie with 3-d printers. I wish I had the knowledge that you have. At 50 yrs old, all the new technology baffles me

    • @jacksons3dworld
      @jacksons3dworld  7 дней назад

      Hi! Sorry, I’m not familiar with Flashforge printers. But, you should be able to take the STL you export for TinkerCad and open it in the slicer that you use for your printer. My other printers use Cura.

  • @tulio3dprint
    @tulio3dprint Месяц назад +3

    yo uso corel ya que se puede exportar directo en svg y luego se extruye con el tinkercad y hacer llaveros, me resulta mas facil o bien el fusion 360 solo. Aparte uso una impresora comun y tardo mucho menos que con esa maquina, solo que los cambios los hago manualmente con el cambio de color del slicer

    I don’t think you need a purge block. I think I can do is have the printer do it automatic Filament change It should eject the old filament I believe the purge block will waste more film it in this case some cases it’s better to have a purge block, depending on how big it is
