- This video is definitely a change of pace from my normal uploads, but I think many of you will enjoy it. Don't worry, still plenty of garage time (almost all of it actually) but with a more personal touch. It's a long one, but I think its worth it. Plenty of memories, mechanical workings, frustrations, elations and other emotions in this one. Kick back, grab some snacks and drinks, and enjoy watching me bring this 70 year old mini bike back to life!
The Captain John Sax foundation is below. Tell them I sent you!

what a loss the whole planet not just the USA suffers when we lose such men as these, I'm sure all these men would have blazed a trail through our world if they still lived
Chris that was an awesome thing you did for your best friend in his memory.
This seems so inadequate. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. To the five service men who passed away in that plane crash. For your service and sacrifice. You are all the definition of true hero's.
Thank you for your service, Nick....
Thank you.
Wow Chris, I never thought one of your videos would bring a tear to my eyes, but this one did. What a great job on bring this mini bike back to life. Your videos are just the best. I wish I had the patients and skill to do some of the things you do on your cars. I'm also very impressed on your editing on all your videos and the music back round which is always timely. Again, you are a pro at this, keep them coming. Thank you!!
Hey Chris I watched this video and it is truly moving. It brought me to tears by the end of it. You are a one of a kind human being with a big heart and fantastic skills. So sorry for the loss of your friend. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Thank you for all that you do.
Just watched the episode on the mini bike, very moving! I was unaware of the John J. Sax foundation so thank you for that,it's brave people like him and Nick and Nick's Grandfather that allows a mere mortal like myself to enjoy the life I do!

I watched this video earlier this morning with my boyfriend. First, I appreciate that you love and honor your friend, Capt Nicholas Losapio, his Grandpa, Noble and the rest of the family his family, Capt John J. and yourself as well, who you are as a friend. I am sad for your loss. I can't imagine the void.
I loved your video, I appreciate your heart and the friendship you and Nick have which knows no bounds. Take care of yourself Chris.
Please, extend my regards to Nick's mom. She seems like a real spitfire and fun lady, respectfully. She was jammin' on that lil scooter bike... vintage pit bike😊
Appreciate it!
i have never believed "you cant judge a book by its cover' I can tell Nick was one of those guys at school everyone even the teacher loved him, he was a man that stood above most men by his deeds and actions without any arrogance, and a friend who you can count on THIS SUX
Nice job Chris! 👏 Not only on the bike, but for being such a good friend to Nick and his family! RIP Capt John, Capt Nick, and the Purple Foxes! 🙏🫡
As a retired veteran, this was really cool to see. Watched the whole video. Just wanted to say great job! No project too big or too small 👍

What a cool piece of history!..i lost my buddy a couple years ago as well.. never gets easier. Rest easy
Hi Chris. Silent observer here. I never comment anywhere on the net. I've seen all of your content and have learned a lot from you but I never thought that I would be balling tears out like this from your channel. Maybe the young man there in the final picture could ride it down the road that Sir Captain John H. Noble rode it down to the Base all those years. Thank you for being a GREAT BLESSING to many.
Much appreciated. Thanks for watching
Hey, thanks for making this. I'm gonna send this to Lauren Sax. She's the sister of John Sax. Their father, Steve Sax, played for the Los Angeles Dodgers back in the day. Deep condolences to you and their families. Thank you for making this ❤
Much appreciated!

Beautiful job, Chris!
Impressive what an honor
I already love this channel and you somehow found a way to kick it up a notch! By far my favorite build of yours Chris! Great job!!!🙂👍🏼
Awesome, thank you
Whoever made that "bike" bike was creative. They probably cut up some bikes to Frankenstein this together. Nice idea for a mini bike.
Good job on the video and resto work. I am 77 yrs old and remember engines like that from my youth. My Dad and I built a go-kart from scrap parts and metal pipe. My engine was from a garden tractor and not like that one. A friend also had a homebuilt kart with an engine very similar. Sears sold them and they were called Power Products. They did use them on their chain saws. David Bradley was their chainsaw name. The clutch/ transmission reminds me of a Cushman Eagle, which looked very similar. Could be, who knows?
Great story and thanks for doing it.
Al Hook
Alan, yup yup! 68 y o. My dad and I assembled a LIL' INDIAN MINI BIKE. It was 1964, came in a box. Deluxe seat, fenders, $119. NorthShore Cart center, Kenmore, Washington...wish I still had it!
Great job Chris! You, Nick and his family are class acts! Very sorry to hear about your loss bud. I’m sure he’s proud of you!
Sorry for your loss, this is a beautiful tribute to him and his grandfather. My dad was a Korean War veteran, much love to those who served.
Awesome project brother. Great job
Had to comment on this video even though I've seen all of yours and love your content. This was an awesome way to pay tribute to Nick's family and to him and his grandfather. Keep doing what you're doing and this channel will grow exponentially! You may quit your day job soon!😉
Great job.
Would love to see a motorcycle rebuild on the channel!

What a great story, Chris…and a great restoration! Such an amazing tribute to your friend. I’m sorry for your loss. Sounds like he was a wonderful person.
I kept seeing this weird looking minibike in my feed and ignored it until last night when I looked closer and saw that it was your channel. Needless to say you had me in tears when you gave us the back story. I obviously don't know you but can tell that you are one AWESOME friend. I remember the media coverage of the accident. Thank you Chris for bringing us along for the ride. I was touched in a very significant way!
Love this video.Awesome
Love this!!!
You are lucky to have known one of the Great!
Man.... My heart breaks for you and Cpt. LoSapio family ,friends & troops under his command. Seems like the military had a lot of issues with the Osprey, as well as the new unit they are introducing soon. Lots of issues with the design. Neither here nor there, just keep in mind you and Nicks family will meet again one day. Great way to honor him and his grandpa.
To all of those who serve, has served, thank you for the sacrifice each of you have made for our country, and never allow those who have fallen for our freedoms, to be forgotten. All we can do is hope our country can somehow unite soon and we can all be proud to be Americans.
I usually don't comment, if I don't have anything sensible to contribute, but in this case for the sake of YT algorithm I'm leaving this comment to support your buddy. My condolences.
Thank you
The ingenuity in this thing is crazy! There are cars from this century that don’t run this well, so insane
Another Great Job , my condolences for you and Nic's family. I'm sure Capt.John is looking down and is so Happy to see his creation restored.. 👍 👍
Bravo Sir👏🏼 You’re an amazing human being Chris - if only everyone had a friend like you…May Nick, and his crew R.I.P.

You are a good man Charlie Brown.
There's nothing with a motor this dude can't fix!! an absolute wizard💪🏼🙏🏼 great commemoration brother
Been seeing this mini-bike in so many of Chris’ videos. Stoked that he was able to bring it back to life. 👍
Why do you have to make me cry.... I didn't even realize you had a RUclips Channel. Fuck yeah buddy!
So here’s a thing if you get in touch with the magazine that done the article, you may find that they may have more information on record that they did not use for the article. This may include pictures as you well know they take more than one picture when they turn up Keep your chin up, great things take time and patience and so does the healing heart
Very special gift for this family, and your Dear friend ! God Bless you Chris, and the people left in this country who pay tribute to all of the men and women who served to make sure we have the freedoms we enjoy . My father served in WWll from 1942 until 1945 . Those were great Americans , just like yourself !
I’m mostly into the car stuff but that might be my favorite video of yours. Super entertaining and the reaction from the mother at the end was awesome.
You are right about the engine my dad had 2 of those Chain saws back in the 1960s ...the Belt for the Generator is from a Sewing Machine drive belt!
I did come up with some sewing machine belts lol
I work on trucks for a living . I’ve never seen one but I heard other people talk about them . Cat used to have a pony motor to help start their larger diesel engines this is something you might check into I don’t know what they look like cause I’ve never seen one. Sorry for your loss . Awesome video
Got something in my eye 🥲
Freaking cool!!
I am positive Nick is VERY proud of you. Hell I am proud of you. You my “friend” ROCK.
✌️
You are one hell of a great person / friend. This world needs more people like you!🍻
What a beautiful tribute you have done for a great friend to all of us.
Greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for a friend.
That still applies fully here in my heart and mind.
nice project :)
Such a cool story and cool bike. My grandfather served in Korea in the 50s and worked at the flight line. I wonder if he remembered that bike. Keep up the great work. CHEERS!! On a side note, I think you put the fuel filter on backwards.
Very good work and content. Touching as well congratulations 0:27
That gearbox is most likely a moped/scooter transmission. Looks very much like something off a 1930s Cushman or alike. Nice work! Sending my condolences to you and nicks family 🙏🏻
Great job Dude 😉😎
Thanks!
I came for the mini bike and left in pieces. Semper fidelis brothers. Till Valhalla
that generator looks like an old bicycle generator that would attach to a fork or the frame and lean against the tire and power your head and taillights . . Super work Chris, really sorry for the loss of your friend. but this warms my heart man. you are awesome !
Best video yet. Such a great way to honor Nick
Im be honest and blunt. When i saw this video i was passing forward like crazy bcuz i seen it was so long video just thought it was a remodeling the lil motorcycle but when i saw nick mom surprise n in tears i had to go all the way back to the start of the video and see this amazing transfrom that really touch the bottom of my heart 😢.. i was amazed how old was the motorcycle and for you to do all that and put in all your heart into it made me feel surprised... Crazy thing was, i seen all that rain the was pouring outside the garage until you rode it for the first time to test it out the sun came out... I was thinking they both looking down and was surper happy to see that motorcycle turn on and ride again that a blessing from above in beyond... This really touch me so much and all types of ways... Sorry for your loss but i know Nick is around somewhere around happy for you to do that for him and his grandfather... GOD really bless you Chris and hope nothing but joy towards you and your family and Nick family as well... plus GOD bless that motorcycle as well it came out super great.. love the transform you did outstanding job... 💯💯🙏🙏🙏🙏
Rest in peace Nick and team!! Thank you all for you service:)
You know it's a good one when it brings a tear to an eye. This definitely did to mine! Great work man!
Love it Chris! When I first saw the patina'd tank on the frame I was hoping you would leave it that way. What a great tribute to a friend, and fallen Marine! Thank you!
That is amazing about the stickers better than painting them colors! Very touching!
BAD ASS!
Wow. Just wow. Speechless/crying! Great job.
