Great watch Alyn. Loved the packing of the bag, 11kg is impressive. Again a nice calming camp. Some great views at night time and the morning and I think anyone could have been fooled by the airplane trails.

@@OutdoorswithAdrian 🤣🤣🤣 Its always a work in process. My pack is an old Berghaus 50. Im not even sure it exists anymore.😂 They've been redesigned i think. Lol. It was great weather that night. Cold, crisp and clear
@@davidmcgill9248 Thanks so much David. Well tbh (and I dont want to tempt fate) but I havent had bother at any of the carparks surrounding the mountains. But in saying that the two up the lane at Carrick Little are monitored with CCTV so I would guess they're good to go with. They do cost a few pounds but for an overnight its well worth it for peace of mind
Fantastic vid Sir. I’m not a subscriber to the shaving weight ethos but 11kg is impressive. PPPPPPP is the watchword as with you. Thinking of starting a channel myself with Charlie the Retriever so perhaps another vid with camera gear and editing process would be terrific for galoots like me. Always enjoy your videos. @@robertmccrea1957 thanks so much for the encouragement man. Ultra light hiking and camping has its place, its just not me. I like to be comfortable and cozy but don't want to be carrying a massive pack all the way up to the tops. I thinks its about getting the right individual pieces of equipment so the overall works for you. I'd definitely encourage you to start filming and posting your stuff. Set yourself some clear goals and be sure of why you're doin it. For me its all about this. Chatting with you. Encouraging folk to get outside and enjoying their experience more. Go for it

Can I ask, did you just make up your own checklist and would you be willing to make available to the ‘rest of us’ (we could modify it to suit our own trips if needed )? Cheers

The checklist is my own invention, cobbled together from inspiration and experience and it does get adapted as I add/ subtract stuff depending on need. Happy to share it if you think it would be useful although it is very much a personal thing.
