I never knew about this castle, LT. Cracking bit of history. It amazes me that many people don't think our ancient Welsh ancestors could put one stone on top of another. Look at the craftsmanship on this castle, though!
Amazing Vlog L.T. It was great to envisage what the castle must of looked too go back in history. Fantastic insight into what is know about the castle as its something I have now learnt about. Cool place indeed. 😍🌟😍🌟
Wow 😮 LT that was very interesting indeed. Going back so many years in history is so informative. Amazing to see the materials they used back then. Thanks for sharing 👍👍
Love these lesser known castles, I find them far more historically interesting. There’s also a much better chance of having it to yourself too when you visit these places - really helps to take in the atmosphere of the location. Diolch LT!
Hello LT hope you are well. Thank you for the video what an amazing Country. We don't have castles here in the US. My father would have loved this as he was Welsh.
@@LTJones I bet. They are truly amazing with the history... Just imagining this was someone's home and the different rooms etc. Thank you for all the wonderful journey's
@2:44 I saw 2 dark figures to the right of you in the woods as you were pointing in the castle, they did look pretty ghostly, maybe you had company with you or I am watching too many horror films! 👻
I'm in no way a battlefield historian but I thought that attacking enemies would cut down the trees in order to build the siege works, rather than pull them in ,etc? Just a thought....
Diolch am hyn 🏴👍 Rwy'n cofio ymweld â chastell Ewlo/ Ewloe flynyddoedd lawer yn ol. Mi roeddwn yn ei weld yn safle rhyfedd am ei fod mewn tipyn o bant - ac yn hawdd felly i'w ymosod🤔
Very cool!! Love it!! Thank you very much. 😊😊
Thanks SP

Hi Heidi, good to see you again. I've had a number of subscribers from the US asking to see some castles
@@LTJones I bet. They are truly amazing with the history... Just imagining this was someone's home and the different rooms etc. Thank you for all the wonderful journey's
You're welcome Heidi
Interesting, it’s too bad they didn’t have the concrete we use now, more of it would still be standing.
Hi LT are you going to do castell y bere ?
Yes I will definitely get round to it as it's my favourite Castle site because of the amazing scenery there

Omg 🫣 I'm going to look for them! I didn't mention it in the video but the woods are said to be haunted by a nun
@@LTJones I hope you find them, it was around @22:44 or a second earlier.
Also cca 1:44 on the left side one person....

Difyr iawn, erioed wedi gweld hwn. Gwelwn gipolwg bach ar gerrig tywodfaen coch yn yr adeilad.
