    I never knew about this castle, LT. Cracking bit of history. It amazes me that many people don't think our ancient Welsh ancestors could put one stone on top of another. Look at the craftsmanship on this castle, though!

    Fascinating to think of the ancestors who would have walked there. Beautiful thank you.

    Wow 😮 LT that was very interesting indeed. Going back so many years in history is so informative. Amazing to see the materials they used back then. Thanks for sharing 👍👍

    Love these lesser known castles, I find them far more historically interesting. There’s also a much better chance of having it to yourself too when you visit these places - really helps to take in the atmosphere of the location. Diolch LT!

    Hello LT hope you are well. Thank you for the video what an amazing Country. We don't have castles here in the US. My father would have loved this as he was Welsh.

    Interesting, it’s too bad they didn’t have the concrete we use now, more of it would still be standing.

    @2:44 I saw 2 dark figures to the right of you in the woods as you were pointing in the castle, they did look pretty ghostly, maybe you had company with you or I am watching too many horror films! 👻

    • @LTJones
      @LTJones  7 дней назад +1

      Omg 🫣 I'm going to look for them! I didn't mention it in the video but the woods are said to be haunted by a nun

    I'm in no way a battlefield historian but I thought that attacking enemies would cut down the trees in order to build the siege works, rather than pull them in ,etc? Just a thought....

    Rwy'n cofio ymweld â chastell Ewlo/ Ewloe flynyddoedd lawer yn ol. Mi roeddwn yn ei weld yn safle rhyfedd am ei fod mewn tipyn o bant - ac yn hawdd felly i'w ymosod🤔
