I've never bought a PSA AR so I don't know what people are talking about negative with that but I've got one of their AK103's and it shoots great. No problems yet with a couple thousand through it
PSA is a great low cost option for many people and they are pretty decent in quality. Many of us that build AR’s once in a while will buy some parts from PSA that’re cheaper since for the most part, there’s little difference. Most don’t know that Colt buys their small parts from a couple private producers, I know the owner of one of those companies and he sells the same parts to other companies besides Colt, he hates dealing with Colt because they’re slow at paying their invoices and it often requires constant calls after 6 months of no payment. There’s 4 factories that produce uppers and lower receivers, they make receivers for every company here in the US so there’s little difference between most of them. Obviously there’s higher quality receivers made to tighter tolerances which takes slightly longer to machine which is part of the higher price. For a dependable AR, PSA will fit the bill easily (I advise you get a chrome lined barrel with parkerized finish which is about $40 extra).
I bought two Poverty Pony lowers with no logo. And had my buddy who is a armorer pin gauge them. They were within spec. And they work. I'm not a builder. I've been to two of the Semper Peratus armorer courses when Will Larson was alive. But I pieced together those two lowers for two Sionics complete uppers I bought Black Friday through Primary arms.
I don't know I never thought that Bill would pass the house and truthfully the way things have been going it would not surprise me if it did pass the senate. As long as Biden is in office, I do not put anything past the government if they do not get their way the government will just do it anyway
I have 2 of their lowers. A stealth lower (No Markings ) which I just got a couple weeks ago and the other one I bought in 2017 which has the PSA logo on it. I personally don't care if they have markings or not, it doesn't change the way it shoots.
I have an M16 a2 stripped lower that I put together for an AR pistol build soon to be an SBR once I get my tax stamp. It's been flawless. No problems whatsoever. It said it was blemished but I'm telling you there was nothing wrong with it at all when I got it I scrutinized it and studied it very closely not even so much as the slightest little scratch.
I went to palmetto armory, , I purchased a gift card at the register with cash then with the woman's help turned around and purchase the rifle online right there. I had it shipped to my address. I did not purchase the lower receiver so no ID was shown at any time. Blem M4 1/7 nitrite complete minus the stripped lower receiver. 375$ delivered in two days. 😁👍🖖
@@Lifechanging99999 I had an old Bushmaster A2 upper that my nephew had swapped the barrel out of and he didn’t want the upper receiver. I don’t know where is a good place to buy an A2, unfortunately.

@@SuburbanRifleman Thanks a ton for the update. So you mean shelf is not hogged out for RDIAS( registered drop in auto sear) or just M16 OEM auto sear?
@@waheedahmad1515 I imagine if you had a registered DIAS, that could be installed. There is not a web of material left behind the trigger group, as in a Colt. But, since I don't own one, I couldn't say for sure. There is not, however, a semi-cylindrical well milled into the shelf to accept an M16 type FA sear.
Hi amigo , how’s life? I also make fun of guys that cover their serial numbers .. I have a good supply of tinfoil as well if you ever need hat building supplies. Seriously though those are cool and I also love official , government property marked stuff. I have one FrankenAR of my own and that’s probably all I’ll ever have. Had a few in the past but I also went through a "minimalist” phase about 10 years ago.. too funny. Are you ready to do some hunting this fall? Black powder season opens here on the 24th.. I probably will hunt that this year , my 16 year old son will hunt modern later in October. Take care amigo.
Howdy, Guapo! Thanks for the offer but no tinfoil necessary. I see this video was from a year ago and I would just like to say that they were never going to get their band that's never going to happen again on a federal level. Maybe state-by-state it'll happen I mean it's happening here in New england. I live in New Hampshire and we are the last bastion of firearm freedom in the entire northeast. That's no joke. It used to be Vermont New Hampshire and Maine we were the trifecta. Not anymore. Maine well they're passing all kinds of shit after that Lewiston incident and Vermont after that has decided I guess they're going to be passing or have already passed magazine capacity limitations and there's more coming. Here in New Hampshire we don't play. Nope. Not only do we have none of that bullshit..... Our governor gave us constitutional carry back in 2017 and has rewarded the laws and they've gone back for the vote legally speaking and the stand your ground law and castle doctrine laws here in New Hampshire do not have a duty to retreat in them at all anymore and they apply anywhere you can legally be including ATVs like four wheelers and snowmobiles. And recently New Hampshire house bill 1178 was passed in July of 2022 I believe stating that any new federal mandates handed down are to be enforced by federal agents only if it goes against the constitutional or state second Amendment. New hampshire. Live Free or Die baby!
It depresses me to hear that about Maine. We’ve got a camp way up near Baxter State Park. I guess I’d better check the laws before I head up to open for the season in a couple months.
I have 2 of their M16A4, an M4A1 and 2x M4 marked PSA lowers. All of them are excellent.
I’ve been really impressed with these.
The m4a1 lower has a Colt style manufacturer detail with lines. The m4 lower has the FN style.

I bought 2 burst and auto marked. Just looks cool
They really do.

love the flat track shirt
i like us property marked firearms. super cool.
The govt stamp is way better than a company logo plus they go for less than $50 i had to grab one grab
Thanks for doing this video, I've been wondering myself about the marking ,much appreciated,Sir. 👍👍👍👍👍
My pleasure!
I want to get one of there FJB Ghostgun Lowers
I’d never heard of that but now I kinda want one too!
FJB!!!
They could have at least milled it for full auto. They don’t have to put the hole in it that gonna get your dog killed.
I’ve seen some others with false pins milled that looked pretty cool.
I wish the m4a1 had a cage code
Yeah I don’t know why they marked them differently.
Palmetto State Armory's Cage Code is: 7XC20
Have Carolina laser works make you a custom UID sticker. 😉
You have link to the lowers, would love to build one like I carried for years

A roll mark is stamped or forged into the surface.
An engraving is cut or or laser burned into the surface.
