- It took me 12 years to find out about this leg armor in Fallout 4. This armor lets you fall from any height without taking damage. However, getting it is tough. If you want to try, you'll need power armor with a jetpack. Then, go to the Mass Fusion building and climb until you see a glass ceiling. Find the hole in the ceiling that you can only reach with the jetpack. When you're in the right spot, use the jetpack again to go even higher. Look for a hole in the wall when it seems like you can't ascend any further. To get there, use the jetpack and stand on the tiny ledge, then use Jet to carefully reach another invisible ledge. After that, fly into the room. On the right, there will be another hole in the wall that's easier to reach. Finally, in the last room, you'll find a safe with the leg armor.

Story is the guy that made those fall damage free armor was gonna prank his co workers on the roof by jumping off but the bombs fell before that. He came into the office for something leaving the key for the safe behind so he was now stuck up there with nothing but nuka cola

basically u grab the trash can, put it on the wall on an edge, the trash can physics causes a collide on the wall which locks it in place, jump on it, grab trash can again, move it up and jump at same time, keep it going
Hold the trashcan with your back to the wall. Look down, while still holding the trashcan, and walk backwards. You will essentially walk up the wall.

Yep. Used jet to get on top of the Independence as it travels to the skyscraper. Fall off before getting there. If you ride inside, you'll still die. Sad they didn't plan for incase players tried that so players don't die.

While not as important this is similar to Diamond City's exterior roof bar. I believe on top of the power armor station it has all the others. It really sucks how useless the jetpack really is since Bethesda has dramatically cut the "exploration" part of their open world games. It's been relegated to the "I don't want to wait for the elevator" tool collection.

@@simpleplayer8176 Those are fine and all, and the skeleton jokes were funny back in fallout 3, but there's no real hidden places worthwhile. Majority of the city roofs are all empty, there's hardly any alternate routes through places or enough places to take advantage of the limited height you can get with the jetpack, and when you do find places they're normally just empty little staging areas you can repair or customize things with whatever scrap you're carrying.

It’s hard with the trash can but you can do it with some patience. They haven’t patched it even in the next gen update.

@@neji_rip4302 I mean we do all sorts of glitches, all the time, but if it's a second or third run, that's when you load up the mods and console menu lol also can use steam workshop mods that you add to the game by just clicking "subscribe" or can go online to nexus mods, change the files yourself, or use wemod for cheats lol once you get the full experience (depending on games) then add mods and cheat lol but like baldurs gate 3 has tons of great mods, from better bodies, to wearing sneakers and glasses and all sorts of dumb shit, even added a mod that you can use a MP5 in the game, just a reskin of a spell but funny as fuck! Lol
@neji_rip4302 that's the fun of computers, you run the game a few times, then can straight up cheat, mod, spawn in console, whatever you want. My baldurs gate 3 characters are wearing modern clothes and glasses lol you can turn your doggo in fallout into the wolf from game of thrones, can use weapons that make the game harder, can have more enemies than normal with harder to hit critical points. That's the fin of computers, literally can make everything better for you individually. I mean look at skyrim and resident evil using Thomas the tank engine as enemies lol you can be a complete Rtard with your games or make them way more realistic. The mod community is crazy and love them can add so much flavor to your game! Just look up Nexus Mods and type any game you want and just look at the many options!

If you do a trash launch and something is above your head you'll still die from hitting it.
easiyest way is just to grab a trashcan by holding down the activate button, go back to a wall and put the trashcan beneath your feet. if you then walk backwards you will rise up the wall. if you want to take this even further, you can use a lifebuoy, shoot a bolt into each if the white stripes from the side and stand on it. that way you can fly without any wall.

Finally something my companions can wear and not die from falling cause they telephoned behind me while I'm on a bridge.
Unless your companions aren't essential they can't die. They just... sit down for a while... :/

I was so busy exploring boston on my high school days while watching channel such as fudgemuppet and Camelworks to gather all the unique equipment. Glad to see some are still making content about fallout 4 (the unmodded one)
The Sole reason why i stopped FO4 is the fact it gets boring after 2-3 playthru. Also because i love modding and at some point some horny ass teenager started making NSFW mod and content 😂. You know who i meant if you are in the community long enough. Glad he finally didn’t surfave back
Or if you dont want to go through the process of getting those, you’ll have better luck on legendary enemies for the acrobats leg armor, which does the same thing, but i think it came with nuka world dlc
No I got the armour as a legendary drop long before nuka world was a thing.
NEW METHOD:
Get a railroad gun and a life preserver.
Drop the life preserver and shoot it with railroad nails. Shoot it all around the preserver. Then HOLD it. Dont pick it up into ur inventory. Hold it and then look down. Jump and itll begin to levitate. U keep jumping to increase up speed or correct urself if ur glitching around. Move forward a lil at a time to move in that direction and vice bersa for other directions. Crouch to go down. No power armor is needed.

pretty sure you don't need those if you already have the power armor with the jetpack

Seeing videos likes this brings the memories all flushing back. I played the HELL out of 4 when it first came out and completely forgot about all of these secrets and time I spent exploring.
Bruh this was a must have for me like not even a month after the game came out, 2015 when the game was hot if you looked up rare armor or gun locations in fo4 this was always like number 1, I loved using them

Yes, I made a mistake...
I actually found those my fiest play through by accident, i was just exploring random things, and thought " i bet i can get in there" each time i went further.

@dixienormus8 I'm being honest. I thought they were really cool but bc I had so many fusion cores, and since I never really left my power armor I just decided to almost never wear them.
You can also make it up there by picking up a bin and backing into a corner. It will take a few tries but that's how i got up there
Perks and armor upgrades that affect AP and movement speed seem to be a massive help... I got these late in the game on my latest play-through, and I damn near flew right up there,
I've played this game for over 500 hours and never knew about this. Next time I go to play I will surely have forgotten all about it.

i didnt even knew there was invisible ledges. You can do this without them, just kinda bunny hop with the Jetpack

I got these on my first playthrough like a decade ago. You don't NEED the Jet Pack, it just makes it significantly easier.

If you quicksave on the final ledge before you go into the final room, you have the option to reload that save and try again if the armour doesn't match
Back in the day we used a waste basket and glitch rode it up the wall to the safe with the armor
