My 2002 ES300 will outlive me. 185k miles and rides like new. Nothing broke everything still works like new. Had a 2013 ES350 and sold it to get my ES300
Thank you SO much for the video. I've been waiting for you to test drive this exact car. BTW you do an excellent job on all videos I've watched. Thanks again.
Im NOT saying its NOT a reliable car..but, Im just NOT an Es Lexus person. .I prefer the LS, the GS or the IS...never been a fan of the ES. However, if I had to choose between this ES and an Audi, Mercedes, Bmw, Honda, Hyundai/Kia/ Genesis, Ford, Chevy, Cadillac, etc, I would choose the ES 100 times over any of those.
I have a 2020 es 350 F sport. I upgraded from a camry. I loved my camry, but I am really surprised at how much more I love the F sport. Now that the ES has touchscreen system I'm looking to upgrade to a newer model.
I’ve been a subscriber for years, always love your reviews. Very genuine and straightforward. I would love if you did actual timed 0 to 60 test with a Draggy. I’m always interested to see what people get in the real world. Many manufacturers under rate there 0-60 time. And the Lexus Es350 generally does it in about 6.2 seconds depending on trim. Keep it up. Thank you. *Car and Driver 6.1 (2024) *Car and Driver 5.9 (2020) presumably due to Sport +
Wireless is standard in base as well, unless they did away with the "Premium" package which pretty much everyone who buys the base gets? My 2023 has wireless and it wasn't an option. It's part of the Premium tech package.
I know a lot of people talk about the hybrid because it has better gas mileage and the rock solid e CVT transmission, but es 350 has the V6. How reliable is a standard 8-speed automatic transmission on a ES 350 can it go hundreds of thousands of miles if you take care of the transmission fluid? I recently purchased a 2023 ES 350 ultra luxury I own it outright but sometimes I think about buyers remorse because the gas mileage is so poor and it doesn't have that reliability of the hybrid e CVT transmission should I be worried or can my car go many years now without any issues?
I think you're wise to keep up on your ATF changes, and Car Care Nut advises it. But I've heard only good things about the solidity of the Aisin 8-speed used in the ES 350, and the transmission reliability numbers in Consumer Reports surveys look very solid so far. I wouldn't worry.
Rear seats dont fold down because its being used as a stabilizer system to enhance the ride quality by stiffening it up a lot. Most luxury cars do this
I test drove a few 2023 trim levels and the fsport handling is a waste of money. It takes a luxury sedan with a smooth ride and makes it a harsh for a little better sportiness. Get a sports car if you want one and let this car be what its meant to be
Why? The old one is thoroughly debugged, and a first-year car historically sells for closer to MSRP than a car nearing the end of its run. Unless you want a Crown-style hybrid powertrain with AWD or a turbo, I don't think you'll gain much by waiting.
I bought a 24 acura tlx type s and i hate it just feels cheap and quality is lacking i might trade for 25 es 350 ultra luxury or fsport i was going to wait for 26 refresh but I hear no 6cyl in 26 only hybrids
It’s ok. Not 100% Japanese made. Assembled in Canada with just a portion of the parts imported from Japan. The LS is 100% Japanese parts and manufactured.
And the LS is twice the price. Why not compare the ES to various other $100,000 cars too? It's about the highest accidental compliment you could give it.
I just bought 2025 Luxury ES350 Lexus. Disappointed 😞 that my new car has a characteristics flaw oer Lexus service in Ontario and El Monte service center. When I break hard, it makes a clunk sound. Driving me craze, they told me that's what the 2025 Lexus do, and there no fix. So beware car buyers if you don't Lind the noise everytime you drive it then buy it. It's true that the 2025 loaner made the same noise. Very disappointing . The car was shipped from another dealership. I didn't drive it first, They said it's the suspension settling back in place and not a safety issue.
Sounds to me like dealer bulls**t. My '22 has basically the same brakes and everything else mechanically as the '25, and it makes no such such. I've never heard any reviewer mention any such noise either. I'd take it to another dealer.
Yeah, and a different infotainment screen... And different interior. And better speakers. And more sound deadening. And a V6. How is this like a Camry?
Lexus makes the BEST CARS!!! You cannot go wrong with a Lexus.
I agree we are on our very first Lexus 2008 LS460 with 136k miles very wonderful sedan and later down the road we will get another Lexus
I had a 2019 350 ES, 6 years later, and it's the same car.
Why did you get rid of it if you don’t mind elaborating?
@FU29988 car junkie, get a new car often. It was a great car, though, red burgundy exterior black interior with the wood package.
@@wurly164 nice, gotcha..me too, ever couple years lol
I have MY 2019 ES, manufactured in 2018, and it has BladeScan adaptive headlights and few more features that this one doesn't have. US specs suck.
I just purchased ES350 2025 . Very nice car and joy to drive.
Awesome car! Congrats! 👏
I just bought a certified pre owned 2021 base with 23,895 miles for 33,000 still has all the warranty and garage kept!
Traded our Audi A6 on a Lexus ES 350...we love it.
@@bradleycrouser that Audi would’ve became an empty money pit after about 5 years. Smart move
My 2002 ES300 will outlive me. 185k miles and rides like new. Nothing broke everything still works like new. Had a 2013 ES350 and sold it to get my ES300
Why did you sell? V6 too much of a gas guzzler?
I love the Lexus cars I own a es 350 I’m at two hundred thousand miles and it still drives great I’m looking to get another one soon
Any issues with transmission?

Great look at the ES 350. We almost bought one a few months ago. The problem was paying for it. The Camry had to suffice.
Great car, greater review. Keep up the good work.
Appreciate it! 🙏
Thanks for the review. Did you address road noise / NVH in this video? Currently watching, but haven't heard mention yet.

Not a bad idea. I may just have to do that! 😁
Great job and I buy this car as my daily 1 day.
Thanks! Your reviews are pretty nice.
Are there any other tools/parts that fit into the open spaces of the spare tire foam insert?
Great review and I am really like this sedan.

Love the interior.
*"Toyota continues to panic well"* absolutely😊😊

Could you please review the Lexus IS 500
Haha if i can find one I'd love to! 💯

differences with the 2024 es?
Nearly nothing. I think a new black trim package option. Next year or the year after, whole different story, fully reworked car.
I test drove a few 2023 trim levels and the fsport handling is a waste of money. It takes a luxury sedan with a smooth ride and makes it a harsh for a little better sportiness. Get a sports car if you want one and let this car be what its meant to be
Im waiting on the 2026 ES to come out before l buy

Can you get one with a Japanese-built engine?
Wait till next year, and the entire car will be made there.
Lovely Lexus

The silver is aged
In practice, the base variant feels like a 2025 model Camry just with a different grille design.
Is that based on your personal experience or based on what the internets telling you? And this looks nothing like the new Camry…
Yeah, and a different infotainment screen... And different interior. And better speakers. And more sound deadening. And a V6.
How is this like a Camry?
Getting long in the tooth.....time for an update.
this car is 6 years old, its so outdated man! think id just get a mazda and call it a day
Lexus needs a new ES asap......it is a superb car, but it needs EV, plugin EV and new hybrid engines.
Next year you'll get new hybrid engines, at least.
The Lexus is so reliable because it is a overpriced Toyota 😮
Your post is so predictable because it's the same one overused for 30 years.
In other words upgrade Toyota
Yup, and thats why you get a certified one less than a new Camry with more warranty
This costs SGD$330,000 in Singapore 😅
