I love Lexus and the relaxing atmosphere and filling it has! This ES300h is a an amazing luxury car to own at any age! Since a had it, I don’t care about traffic anymore! 😊
Holy shit, the color grading looks amazing on the static shots! It makes the black paint look so much sharper. Even the rear lights are so beautifully red!
I think your assessment of the ES300h is pretty accurate. I just purchased a 2024 UL, it's so comfortable , I love driving it. Like you said, it's not underpowered, it merges onto highways and passes with ease. The electric motor produces torque where gas engines don't and the result is plentiful and smooth power whenever it's needed. On a recent trip through West Virginia the car handled the mountain grades with ease.
Lexus offered NO “electric motor…” in 2004. You’re pretty silly.😊 That was twenty YEARS ago. Only the ancient Toyota Prius offered some electric motor assistance back in those (long ago) days. LOL! 😂
I had an ES for years and loved it. But when i drove the IS ... I was hooked. Bye bvye ES it was nice while it lasted, but now I get a rush from my IS350. If only the ES wasn't so boring.
Was this ES300h the Luxury or the Ultra Luxury model? Beautiful car and an outstanding video. Especially for the Lexus brand. You were very comprehensive and covered everything that a potential buyer would want to know. (Except the model. They come in base, luxury & ultra luxury.) Thanks!
I have the 2023 ES 350 ultra luxury, V6.... although fun, it gets old after about a week when you realize how the automatic transmission is constantly hunting for gears, from a stop it is extremely sluggish unless you floor it and the gas mileage is absolutely horrendous so I traded it in for a 2025 es300h, muchhhh better. You also get the rock solid reliability of an ECVT transmission, although the asin 8 speed is reliable it's not going to last as long as an ECVT. The battery on these also go well beyond the warranty of 100k miles I've seen some with 300,000 mi.
Glad to hear the 2025 is treating you better. I never got to test the V6 since the other ES I reviewed before this one was the 2.5L 4 cylinder in AWD trim (ES250). That thing was way underpowered for an AWD drivetrain. The 300h, that’s definitely where it’s at. Maybe I’ll pick one of these up in like 10 years from some old lady that used it as a grocery getter lol
Yeah unfortunately it's pretty common when I get press cars with lighter seats. I'm usually a fan of darker interior but sometimes the lighter colors just look so nice like in this ES 300. You'll probably need some kinda of leather cleaner and conditioner. Next press car that has light interior, I'll try my cleaning supplies to see if all it takes is a bit of maintenance. Thanks for watching!
@@Revmatchmedia I just purchased a 2024 ES300h UL in white pearl with acorn/black interior. This darker color is quite classy looking and I think will be more resistant to any color transfer from clothing than the lighter trim colors. Those lighter colors present nicely in pictures but from a practical perspective I think the acorn / black trim ticks all my boxes.
Thanks for watching. I had to go research since I never had to fill up during the week I had it. Lexus’ website is saying that you can go with regular gas. support.lexus.com/s/article/Which-fuel-grade-shou-8129
I just trade 2022 es300h f sport black for 2024 es300 h ultra luxury, hated the black showed dust, dirt and every mark. It drove me nuts to keep a clean sharp car. Now I have the Pearl white color more clean friendly! I do not like the Mar Levinson sound system to me it sounds tinny the 2022 was better. I liked the split screen in the 2022 my 2024 does not split. All in all it’s a great ride
The black is nice when it’s clean which is so hard to keep clean lol. Lexus’ pearl white is so nice because it has such a crazy sparkle to it. Congrats on the 24 and hope you enjoy it.
What is that thing about when you talk about the auto hold with the brake? The button by the gear shifter that says ev mode and “hold” what is that button and what does it do.
When you’re at a stop sign or red light, the brakes can hold the car from moving so you can take your feet off the pedals and the car won’t move. It works when you push the brake down enough to activate it. The moment you tap the accelerator, it lets go of the brakes and lets you move.
The ev mode is for you to drive back to your garage quietly at night for a very short distance, about 1 km as my experience, and your battery must reach a certain level to use that ev button
How much OTD including tax fees etc ? The dealer that I’ve been offered me OTD $49876.18 for the 2024 Es300H base premium package which should be good enough for my needs. Live here in San Diego, do u think the price offered is just fair or should I ask if they can wiggle the price further down but how much ? Thanks for any response.❤
That's not too bad if it includes tax and fees. Of course I'd have them lower the price a bit more or have them throw in mats or something like that lol. Good luck on your purchase!
No problem. What we did when we bought our car was get a pre approved check from a bank. The dealership presented their rate and we countered with our bank's check. Suddenly they were able to beat the bank's rate which was more than a 3% reduction!
great video. Sadly unless you are looking for atomic silver, you wont find any other color. dealers dont care what you want they will charge msrp and tell you everything else has been sold
Thanks for watching. It's a shame really because their red and blue for the ES looks incredible. Like they say, this too shall pass, and hoping the dealership/consumer experience starts to move towards favoring consumers.
If I’m not mistaken, Lexus’ website is pretty good at letting you compare them. I think they also give you the option to download a pdf pamphlet with all the options and if they’re standard, options, or not available.

There’s something about seeing how low you can get a gas needle to E compared to a digital bar lol
