Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Audine Wools Shine Sport 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Tencel 320m / 100g yarn by Knitcrate in the colorway Sky.
Size: Width: 22cm (8.6''), Length: 130cm (51.2'')
st. - stitch, ch - chain stitch, sc - single crochet, hdc - half double crochet, dc - double crochet, hdc3(5)puff - 3 or 5 double crochet closed together (puff stitch).

I didnt like how I was losing 2 stitches each repeat from Row 9 so I added a double crochet into the row to keep it at 42 stitches. So at the beginning of row 9 I added 3dc to the 5chain and then followed the pattern of 1dc into the hdc5puff and 2dc into the 5sc chain. It worked better for me this way as I didnt like how the scarf kept decreasing in size.

@@KristinesCrochets that’s weird Kristine, because I’m using Lion Brand Comfy Cotton Blend 392yd/200 g. I still need 3 more sets to go, to reach to the 10 sets and I’m running out of yarn, it means that I’m using more yarn than you…? 🥱 I don’t understand… lol.

Thats because you're using a thicker yarn. I used sport weight #2 yarn which is thinner than dk weight #3. So, following the pattern, you will need more of it and your scarf will come out bigger.
