    🔥 Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you have a left handed version of this video? If you are left handed, you can convert ANY video on RUclips yourself! Simply go to www.mirrorthevideo.com/ and follow the instructions to mirror flip any video to convert to left handed!
How much yarn will I need? This is a very tricky question to answer as there are so many variables! How much yarn you need will depend on which yarn you choose, the thickness of that yarn, your tension and how large you want your finished project to be. I suggest making a small sample first so you can gauge how much yarn you'll need. If making a crochet square, you can weigh your finished square to work out how much yarn it used!
How many squares do I need for a blanket? That all depends on the size of the square you are making and how big you want your finished blanket to be! I always advise making one square first then measuring the size of it. From there you can work out how many squares you will need to get the blanket size you want 😀
Do you have the written pattern? Yes! I have written patterns to accompany my video tutorials on my website here: www.hookedbyrobin.com The written pattern is generally released a week or so after the video tutorial to ensure there are no errors in the video itself and to make amendments in the written version if any are found. All the written patterns are FREE to access on my website
How can I print the pattern from your website? Do you have downloadable PDF's? Not at this time no. This may change in the future but for now, I only provide the written pattern directly on my website.
Can you remake this video so it is slower? If the video speed is too fast, you can slow it down! 😀 See this video on exactly how: • How to Adjust the Spee...
Why do you use American stitch terminology? I learnt using USA stitch terms, long before I even knew there was a difference between UK & US terminology! American terms are my "first language" so to speak. If you need a conversion chart, I have one here! www.hookedbyrobin.com/crochet...

I'm halfway through my scarf and it's going very well. I noticed at first that because of the 2 chains that are added to the first puff stitch makes it larger than the second puff stitch so I went ahead and changed the second puff stitch to 5 stitches instead of 4. This makes the puff stitches more of the same size beside each other. At first I was having trouble with the puff stitches having the length I wanted but by placing my index finger on the yarn against the end of the hook while yarning over and through, yarning over again to make the puff stitch, this held the length that I wanted and worked very well. Thank you for a great pattern, I can't wait until it's finished.

I have commented on about 5 peoples’ you tube videos.. ever.
I simply must comment on this one! I am so grateful, I liked, subscribed & shared. When I was a little girl my Mom taught me how to do the “granny square”, I felt so grown up. As I grew I crocheted less & less, always making all these granny squares (that I didn’t even know how to join mind you), so I would never finish. Finally in my 30’s I figured I would just make great big Granny Smith blankets; I made two.. they were huge! Over the past decade or so I would go on RUclips looking for another stitch I could do. Years went by, never saw one I liked & the person doing the video would talk about multiples of 7 .. & just sounded like too much trouble. This past year I decided I was going to do a chevron for my daughter (her favorite). Nope. Last night I found THIS VIDEO! When I saw the picture I thought ‘no way’.. but then an Angel appeared!
Robin I just love ya girl! This pattern is absolutely fabulous! And the way you taught it was PERFECT! I am going to do scarves like this for every female in my family for Christmas. I do hope you describe how to put the fringe on the end in another video.. and maybe how to join two colors?
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! ~Sandy

Even with just 3 rows connected so far, I can tell it's going to be really pretty. I see a LOT of King Cole Beaches yarn in my future.....going to order a ton of it once it's back in stock. Though I live in Florida, I am making scarves for a trip to Europe in late November. I made this scarf 100 puffs long, and 4 rows across. I loved it so much, I am immediately starting another in a different yarn/color.
I will gift one to a traveling companion, giving the recipient choice, and I will wear the other.
Thank you Robin, for this gorgeous stitch, and for your excellent instruction!
