Nonsense. Even though I did need to "fill the oil and check the gas" every day on the company car that I used to deliver auto parts with as a kid, I was successful in developing and fostering a very satisfying rod knock in an old shit box Volare station wagon . It was quite satisfying actually
Brought back a lot of memories from my teenage years in the 80's. Had a friend with a slant 6 duster, one with a slant 6 Nova, and one with a slant 6 Javelin. All were reliable transportation, but they certainly were not fast...
Leaning tower of power, love those engines.
225 slant six was a great motor, couldn't kill it as long as you put a quart of oil in with every fill-up after 60/70 thousand miles.

That’s awesome man! Sounds like she’s running 💪 strong
Reminds me of the movie Duel. I can imagine that this car is being chased by a souped up diesel semi truck

@@ronaldnorris2179 I think he meant straight 6.
They put Mopar engines in a Chevy and an AMC?
That's actually pretty impressive for 225 slant 6.
The slant six was a great engine, just needed a valve lash adjustment now and then.
thats acceptable in todays world.enough to blend in from a merge ramp.
Pulls pretty good in neutral. lol Long live the slant 6! I need to get mine back on the road.
yeah I eventually got the shift linkage bushing for it. now it Pulls in D!
It does better than that Plymouth Reliant in the other video.
Six in a row can go!
Probably had a 276 rear? Those weren't known for their 0 to 60 times, BUT 60 to 100 felt like a 318!
I'm not exactly sure what these came with!
If a good for what it is. Have fun.
Cool car man why did you go from 1st gear to drive though
I went from 1 to 2 to let it rev, Drive shifts too early
That's actually not bad.
Pretty fast for being in neutral 😂
that 904 is magical!
did she chirp in 2nd
mine was a lot throatier than that. 318 dual ex 4 sp drop a 318 in it.
This one is getting a 318 this spring
You missed second gear.
"Slanty"...LOL😅
0-60 in 12 secs...yep... that's a slant six
