Does everyone see how he rarely has room to throw the football and he’s still accurate? A lot of his turnovers came while in the act of throwing or before he could get set...He’s better than the the media says he is!!!

As an avid Giants fan, I am one of the seemingly few who really like Daniel Jones as the QB. It boggles my mind that so many people straight up hate him and think he’s trash... Just because a fan likes the Giants doesn't mean that they must like their quarterback. He ain't all world or even good! Danny Stumbles sucks!!
Look at his stats.... are you that blind?
      He is a turnover machine!!!!
Okay they got them weapons like golladay this offseason and Rudolph so he has ABSOLUTELY no excuses this year....
Another thing is that he misses games due to injury. Can't depend on a guy who isn't on the field.
Sick and tired of newbie Giants fans giving this guy so many passes.....

@@eenormus1688 I don’t see the need to attack another fan of your team for believing in arguably the most important player that this season will ride on. Has Jones shown promise and moments where he could be the franchise QB? Absolutely. Has there been times where Jones has played poorly and costed us a football game? No doubt in my mind he has. Believe me, I hate making the same excuses for players but you have to sometimes put yourself in their position. Two years in the league, two years with two different coaches and schemes. Second year in the league, he had 3/5 of his linemen being rookies (Thomas, Lemieux, Peart) and Nick Gates playing center for the first time (he had one experienced lineman in Kevin Zeitler from previous years). You also have to keep in mind his best weapon last year was probably Golden Tate (given that Barkley was injured and Slayton/Shepard/Engram weren’t too special) who was a 32-year-old wide receiver. Sure, you could argue a guy like Shepard was the best receiver (despite missing 1/4 of the season) but that’s not really the point. Your #1 weapon in Barkley was down for the year after he was likely the focal point of Jason Garrett’s offensive scheme. Yes, I get what you’re saying, but you can’t deny he hasn’t really been put in a situation to succeed thus far. Give the kid a chance. Regardless, you and I both wanna win and I think that’s the most important thing. Go Giants!

He’s cut the fumbles snd interceptions from his first year to 2nd year which is good, hope he also takes a huge step especially with the weapons provided. @mojosiesta9821 Год назад

Kyler Murray only has 1 more touchdown than DJ does with a way better team and WRs core, idk why the media is so biased yet pulls the race card all the time. If anything this kid is going through it because of how he looks. Not all white QB's are going through this but it's more of the fact that he was picked over Haskins and the entire world including espn and some giants fans were completely wrong and Dave Gettleman was actually right. Drafting Saquon, Lawrence, DJ and Andrew Thomas proved that Dave can have a eye for talent. Not a good gm overall but he did okay on drafting imo. Anyways, the same excuses you hear from ESPN on why Justin fields is struggling is completely biased because they never gave DJ the same credit or forgave him for being on a bad team, and the bears are way better lol. The only thing that's helping those guys I mentioned this year is the fact that the coaching staff is A1 certified lol, and Mr turnover machine Evan engram is gone and replaced with Bellinger. DJ's only real weapon is a RB and he's not so good at catching this year but he's killing it on the ground. The defense shows up in the second half and gives the offense a fighting chance. DJ doesn't get the credit he deserves, and if EE didn't cause 7 turnovers last year djs stats would look different, infact I would say potentially some TDS and more yards of EE was cut like he should've been on his third year. Instead that dude fucked over DJ worse than Kenny Golloday could have ever done, atleast golloday stays on the bench. Anyways, DJ will get resigned but they should franchise tag him and pay SB first, then when we see DJ with some real weapons we can see if he's worse the big bucks. What's fucking sad is a guy like Patrick Mahomes inspite of losing hill sti has a pleather of weapons to choose from on a weekly basis and Eric Bellamy the best OC hands down on the league and Andy Reid and Pete homes get all the fucking credit. It's annoying as shit, especially when they lose and espn has to huddle up and start stupid convos like "oh what receiver does Phomes need to get this team to the SB?" UM...NONE! if he can't win with this team then he's not as good as everyone says. Guys like Aron Rodgers would kill for a staff and weapons in Kansas, shit all Eli had was OBJ and Ben Macadoo as a OC and barely anyone gave him credit for playing lights out on a shitty team in 2014 and 15. The fucking media bias is annoying but whats more annoying imo is the clueless so called "NFL fans" who play fantasy football and watch the box score continue to act they are the classic sports fans, you know, the ones that actually gain knowledge about the sport throughout the year by, oh idk, WATCHING THE FUCKING GAMES LOL

The Giants need help on their offensive line. If I were Joe Judge I would try to build a run blocking offensive line because Daniel Jones CAN run.

I feel like one of those contractor dad's that drive by a house and say "hey son, you see that house over there.....I built that" well you see that play at 1:33 ? I was there lol, great day. This was Djs first start as a giant and Dwayne Haskins first game playing. Same draft, same division, was hoping for a real rivalry between these two guys. But we all know what happened last year :( stay soaring over the world Haskins, your family will be with you when their time comes :(

Giants offensive line and recievers were trash in 2020.
Be interesting to see how Daniel Jones improves with Kenny Golladay Saquon being back John Ross and Kadarius Toney. Question will be will the Giants offensive line be better

People forgot how bad the receivers are. Shep was always injured, Even engram is trash, Slayton is a 5 round receiver and Daniel made tate look good

I'm a washington fan and I like this guy's game. The giants lost SO many close close games last year it wasn't even funny. Nobody would saying those things if they finished 10-6 WITHOUT saquon. Joe Judge is definitely the right coach for this team and i wasn't even sold earlier in the year but he showed a lot in the first dallas game imo.

it's sad when the video is only 3 mins long... Everyone saying he's accurate this and that.. yata yata.... He's ok, he's not great... Be real for once... The giants haven't had a good line in awhile... its mediocre, sure that's fair... He's still not mobile... Causes multiple turnovers, Does throw bad balls... maybe watch actual tape instead of highlights.. He has plenty of bad balls. If the line is better, maybe the goes down a bit. Won't be alot though. Maybe he turns that around this year... who knows..... He got golladay so I'll say it's up in the air for now

Daniel Jones has good upside for sure. The issue is that he’s a turnover machine. I think he’ll get it together in year 3 like josh Allen did though. Now he’s got a true 1# receiver. Strong defense. Giants will be good this year

We need more deep passes this year. Im sick of these short horizontal passes. Statistically hes one of the best deep passers in the NFL yet jason garret decided to work against djs strength.

The talent is there and he finally has some good weapons. Now that we have a true #1 shep and toney can feast underneath for easy completions. Evan better have spent all off season with the jugs machine.
Toney is really raw, but has so much upside. He can't be OBJ in year one as he's not a polished route runner, but crazy high ceiling. He will be one of the most dangerous guys in the league in space.
If the oline blocks for runs like the 2nd half of the season, and the D continues to grow, DJ won't need to be Mahhomes for us to be good.

  • @iii-ei5cv

He needs to get better. He's not bad enough to rule that out from happening, but this is the year he needs to put it together
The simple truth about QBs in the NFL is that since they have such an out-sized impact on team performance, you simply cannot wait patiently for talent to develop when it isn't there within a couple of years. We can't afford to do what the Bears just went through with Mitch Trubisky, it isn't fair to everyone else on the team
The Giants did the right thing in going out and getting him weapons. He's been in the league for a couple of years now, and this is the second year with Garrett as OC. As much as I like Jones and want him to succeed, if he can't step it up this year its best to move on. There are not going to be any more excuses

Franchise QB's can actually win games or put their team in position to win. Daniel Jones doesn't do that. I'm a Giants fan and I'm not sold on Jones. If he has a really good season this year I'll take back every negative criticism I had of him.

he has potential, just give him time. Look at Josh Allen for example, his first 2 years he showed that he had potential despite the struggles then had a breakout year in his 3rd year. Maybe Daniel Jones will have a breakout year this year, he will be entering his 3rd season this year.

Not to mention his RPO is the best in the league. He’s even faked the camera guys out probably 10 times already when he keeps it. Not only the defense bites, but everyone else does too.
