Not only do I love your thorough explanations and cost saving ideas, but I find your gentle voice and slower pace than some more “frantic you tubers” to be be quite pleasant and soothing to listen to.
I appreciate the clip of the paint sprayer without music and also the note about leaving it in between coats. that is helpful to see and hear it working.
So happy to see just paint! I have wallpaper and so much furniture nowadays get appliques or stencils. The nightstands are beautiful. I think they can be used in just about any decor.
What a fantastic redo of those nightstands, how creative to use the bamboo pants they look great and I love the color I like the silver handles these turned out terrific great job
Really beautiful!!!! These handles are maybe even better since they stand out on the blue colored surface. The wooden striped finish on the drawers makes the nightstands interesting! Thanks for sharing.
Did anyone else notice the Blue paint can 'blowing bubbles' at 13:02? I caught it out of the corner of my eye, and had to go back to see if that actually happened! Pretty funny! Beautiful outcome as always, Katie! I can imagine so many things you could do with those mats from Ikea! I love your ideas! I know nothing about Ikea... never even seen an Ikea store, but I have seen "Ikea hacks" in many video titles. Those nightstands were basic but pretty good looking, even in their original finish! Love what you did with them!
Katie, the end tables are awesome. Nice job!! I’m furnished my new apartment and you have inspired me to refinish some pieces I already have All the best Sandra 🏴🇨🇦
I would’ve used wood filler to fill in the gap between the drawer front and the ribbed wood front just to get a smoother transition but hey, it doesn’t matter! I love the look of these dressers! Really good job!
I love what you did with these nightstands and you are correct no one could ever tell there not a matching set. The color is beautiful. You do absolutely beautiful work Katie!
Brilliant idea using the Rodeby trays. I was just looking at pole wrap today for a different project. It is just too expensive! I liked the finished project. I also think these would have looked phenomenal with the wood color left alone on the front of the drawers with the blue color on the rest of the pieces. Well done!
These night stands are soooo pretty. I love the color, the handles, and how you upscaled them with the slats. Very creative!! Sleek!! Clean!! Crisp!! Awesome work!!
Shame about the glass but these things happen yet wow!! young lady you are amazing in what you achieve and I take my hat off to you, keep up the amazing stuff you do 👍👍👍🙂🌟🌟🌟👏👏👏
That color is Eye Candy!!! Absolutely Gorgeous set of end tables or night stands!! Lovely 🥰 Work!! I may have to buy me a flexible paint sprayer to get that Smooth finish! (Maybe now as temperatures hopefully get into the 50s)
I wish I knew about those mats! I bit the bullet and purchased the pole wrap. It was only about $60 but I have a ton left. These mats look exactly the same!
Great job, as usual! I am nearly finished with an IKEA Hemnes hack of a TV console. I sanded down the top and drawer fronts, then whitewashed them for a beachy look. We’re taking the metal support post off our old TV stand and attaching it to the IKEA stand, and them using the old TV stand for shelves and drawers in our walk-in closet. I love repurposing things. I currently have a coffee table with a shelf under it in that closet. That coffee table will now become a low console table to store our laptops and printer.
Welcome back! One of my favourite of your flips & that colour is stunning! Just a quickie question, so you sand between coats of BIN? I never do but wondering what others do! Thank you :)
I love the innovative way you find less expensive products to use without lessening the quality or style.

Love the blue color and the wood slats really give the plain nightstands a little kick up.
Wow... I love how they turned out!!
I wasn't sure where you were going with these, but it just got better and better! 😃
That blue is great. It looks like a cross between royal and navy blue on my computer screen. The pieces turned out beautifully.
I like the silver handles better anyways. Sometimes an error works out in the end. Looks beautiful
So happy to see just paint! I have wallpaper and so much furniture nowadays get appliques or stencils. The nightstands are beautiful. I think they can be used in just about any decor.
Classy!!
Of all the furniture refinisher/painters I follow, I think you have by far the best “after” shots.
Yes, I am glad for the amount of time to look at them, too, sometimes people will just give you a couple seconds, not enough.
Great styling. 🤩
Nice and sleek finish! The shape is simple and up to date. The wood slats gave the nightstands much needed interest. Excellent as always
They look so nice now! I like that blue very much. 🌺❤️🌺
You've changed their personalities!! From utility pieces to classic style. The blue paint is perfect for them.
Love the colour and new drawer fronts.
What a fantastic redo of those nightstands, how creative to use the bamboo pants they look great and I love the color I like the silver handles these turned out terrific great job
At first, that color, in the can, was a shock. But once you put 2 coats on, it was a beautiful navy. Love the idea of using the ikea placemats!!
The idea of the mats is genius. They turned out beautiful thanks for sharing ❤️
Love the coastal blue night stands with the genius bamboo overlay. Katie is the master furniture flipper. Always look forward to your creative ideas.
As usual, they look amazing!
Thank you for sharing with us that sometimes your projects do not exactly as you plan.

At first I wasn't sure of the blue but once I saw the reveal, I LOVE it! Great job.
Omg cute! I refinished these same nightstands for my mom. Good idea to add texture. They look kind of boring without that, I think. Great job!
Katie, the end tables are awesome. Nice job!! I’m furnished my new apartment and you have inspired me to refinish some pieces I already have

Beautiful! I never would have thought to renovate IKEA stuff.
Your second choice of handles worked really well, maybe better than the other look.
Wow! They look great! I love the addition of the wood front- they really modernize the tables. The color is beautiful as well.
Very beautiful change to upgrade flat pack furniture. Great color. I love your second choice for pulls. Metallic on navy always looks good.
Stands turned out great
There is something about navy blue furniture that I love! Beautiful
