Space Wolves just take the Adeptus Astartes rules since the models are the exact same until SW specific models are added, you can see this with the fact that there is an awesome compilation of Space Wolf names in the AA entry.
Killteam is perfect for these guys since they're on a time schedule, normal 40k games just take way too long for streaming, and Killteam only takes 30 minutes to an hour to play
they unfortunately will always be a little stop and go with these, as much as that upsets me, i loved the necromunda games, i understand them not doing more 40k, they rarely ever got more then like 2 turns in (even if the game would have only lasted 4) its jsut too long to do regularly with everything else they do, killteam seems far more doable for them, a hour and a half for 2 games instead of 3 hours for almost a finished game sort of thing
Firstly Yay! Battleboys! Secondly I know it would be more effort, but personally I'd love it if you guys did a narrative campaign. Something about seeing heroes rise and fall is really fun, especially with you guys
you use normal SM rules for the wolves, and you only roll the first injury roll that occurs, if a weapon is assault 3 and 3 go past armour saves you only roll 1 injury roll, but if a damage 3 goes past armour you roll 3 injury rolls and use the highest result
You should have only done 1 injury roll at 24:35 ~, after the first fleshwound, any extra attacks are ignored. You'd roll 2 dice if it was 1 attack with 2 damage instead of 2 attacks with 1 damage.
I'll be honest, I've played 3 games now and didn't realize that was the case. There are a few "got ya's" in the rulebook and I think that's one of them I think that's probably based off of people being used to normal 40k rules.
Just so you know Duncan space wolves do have rules and as a matter of fact them, orks, and the GSC all have separate boxes with rule books, special tokens, models, and a few terrain bits
Nice with kill team! Keep it up with the hamslamming. You got most of the rules right! (except for the weird wulfen homebrew), but you did injury rolls wrong. You only ever do one injury roll, and then cancel all remaining attacks allocated to the model, once that one injury roll is done. So a model doesn't get a flesh wound from the first hit, then a -1 on the next injury roll and so on. Only if the weapon does more than 1 damage do you do extra injury rolls. In which case you do one injury roll per 'damage' (so 3 for a damage 3 weapon etc.). Note: you do this also if a model has 2 wounds remaining and takes 2 damage. You roll 2 injury rolls.
Pistols can only shoot at an enemy that has an ally within 1" of it if the attacker is in combat with the target also. They cannot shoot from out of combat at an enemy that is within 1" of an ally the same as any other ranged weapon.
If you're ever stuck without a D10 roll a D6 (re-roll 6's) and multiply the result by 2 then roll a D2 (ie a D6 and use your own judgement which numbers are 1 and which are 2) on a 1 subtract 1 from the previous result and on 2 do nothing. That should give an even chance for the numbers 1 to 10.
forgetting the "All Is Dust" rule. +1 to armor saves from all weapons that do 1 Damage. frag missile is S3 wound on 5's and 2+ save. and Thousand Sons have a 5+ invuln.
Only the rubrics. They talk about it in the video. The Aspiring Sorcerer is not a rubric, he's an actual man inside the armour, not dust. And the tzaangor is, well, you know, an unarmored goatman.
@Heletilla although technically lewis would have had 3 5+ invulnerable saves against Duncan's wolfen, it's likely it would have died anyway and I think Lewis was just trying to make the game a bit more even.
The aspiring sorcerer is a rubric marine unless they changed the keyword rules, so yes. Nobody ever gets All Is Dust right in battlereports. It also gives the 5+ invul save and the +1 to save is also for invul, so a rubric marine usually has a 2+/4++ save.
Although the joke of: "the best computer in the warhammer universe is equal to a commodore 64" is quite funny, the adeptus mechanicus lore does show that every techpriest is a superconputer in his/her own right.
You should try to add more narration and roleplay of the scenario and characters, otherwise it's just random dice rolling since there is no strategic depth.
gotta love the classic match-up between *Nerds* and *Furries*
ryan jones THEY CAN'T EVEN READ
That is Surprisingly accurate
Bet he was a good boy and drilled all those holes
Please do a series of this or continue 40k
Wow, I’d forgotten how much I love Alex. Please don’t stay away so long again.
Space Wolves just take the Adeptus Astartes rules since the models are the exact same until SW specific models are added, you can see this with the fact that there is an awesome compilation of Space Wolf names in the AA entry.
Yeah I know it's not the rules but we thought it would be more fun to have a mix of different units rather than 7 Tactical Marines.
but that wulfen seems really overpowered
.
The Thousand Sons player sneezing at the name of Leman Russ. Accurate.
I'm so happy they returned with kill team!
I really hope they haven't stopped making normal 40k games, that was what got me to subscribe!
Killteam is perfect for these guys since they're on a time schedule, normal 40k games just take way too long for streaming, and Killteam only takes 30 minutes to an hour to play
Well I like Kill Team to but I hope they don't just stop doing regular games completely.
Maybe they'll do a couple for the Christmas streams or something. That would be a good time for it.
they unfortunately will always be a little stop and go with these, as much as that upsets me, i loved the necromunda games, i understand them not doing more 40k, they rarely ever got more then like 2 turns in (even if the game would have only lasted 4) its jsut too long to do regularly with everything else they do, killteam seems far more doable for them, a hour and a half for 2 games instead of 3 hours for almost a finished game sort of thing
It took me a while to realize Duncan’s vindicare was being proxied as a scout marine and I was really confused cuz vindicares are really expensive
I love that the first 10 minutes of this were just them rolling a D10 and shooting the shit over 40k lore.
Really happy to see the battleboys back. I've really become a fan of Alex. He seems super chill and nice.
I am really glad Alex is speaking up and getting more confident in front of the camera!
Firstly
Yay! Battleboys!
Secondly

Man the xp and level up stuff is the best part of these kind of campaigns!
9:05 "Why are the space wolves fighting the thousand sons?" Well, I can think of a reason or two.
So Magnus the Red and Ahriman vs Leman Russ and (*Rocket boots activating*)KALDOR DRAIGO-GO-GO-GO-GO
Dear God Yes!!!! Finally some 40k Battle boiiiiisss!!!
"That's so bullshit" says the guy who brought what is essentially a supercharged blightlord teminator with a great plague cleaver.
You should have only done 1 injury roll at 24:35 ~, after the first fleshwound, any extra attacks are ignored. You'd roll 2 dice if it was 1 attack with 2 damage instead of 2 attacks with 1 damage.
manspiderkgb yep that triggered me so much duncan got screwed.
He deserves it though for playing Space Wolves AND making up his own rules in true autistic fashion
Yeah that made me twitch, almost clicked off the video.
I'll be honest, I've played 3 games now and didn't realize that was the case. There are a few "got ya's" in the rulebook and I think that's one of them I think that's probably based off of people being used to normal 40k rules.
Glad to see Alex back, also nice to see Duncan get salty seeing as he's "that guy".
I love Ben brought in to stop Duncan from cheating!
BATTLEBOYS ARE BACK BABY!!!!!!11
I'm so happy to see you guys playing 40k again. Plz continue. ♡♡
Jeez those thousand sons are so gorgeous
Did lewis paint them, does anyone know? I love them, kinda makes me want to go buy a pack!!
Just so you know Duncan space wolves do have rules and as a matter of fact them, orks, and the GSC all have separate boxes with rule books, special tokens, models, and a few terrain bits
Duncan's leader looks like a Sontaran and is able to enact a stratagem. This pleases me greatly
Lewis went into the psychic phase and then used an ability from the end of the movement phase. I wish they'd pay attention.
I have never wanted Thousand Sons to win against Space Wolves before.
"Normally I'm really good at seeing tiny things." Wildly underappreciated joke.
Wooh! More Battleboys!! Very happy!
I wish Simon was a battleboy, he would definitely run Orks
Woop woop. We're back baby!
The space wolves codex will be here by the end of this year as well as melee primaris so im sure people will be happy with that.
On the topocs of dogs with last names, my dog(rest in peace friend) was called Jadzia Dax Twosocks...no joke. We just called her Dax.
The Battle Boys song makes me insanely happy to hear, I specifically clicked on this hoping for it.
The camera quality has definitely gotten better, you can see the models so well!
YES IT HAS RETURNED
Nice with kill team! Keep it up with the hamslamming. You got most of the rules right! (except for the weird wulfen homebrew), but you did injury rolls wrong. Just anouther example of the 1000 sons being cheeky space wizerds, poor space pups
MORE BATTLEBOYS!
WELCOME BACK, BATTLEBOYS! WE MISSED YOU!
Pistols can only shoot at an enemy that has an ally within 1" of it if the attacker is in combat with the target also. They cannot shoot from out of combat at an enemy that is within 1" of an ally the same as any other ranged weapon.
I'm not a huge fan of house rules, but I kinda wish they posted up what the house rules were at the beginning.
Battle boys returns
Rolf Icefang basically got Dog-snacked.
I like to give my pets surnames just because it adds this air of weirdness when you call them
Guys we need to get a battle together, we strike down a Beast challenge to the Games Night fellas!
BEN BEN BEN!!!
I just missed Alex in Battle boys
Woo-hoo more battle boys!
I wish they just made the board 2' by 3' so we use 4 of them to make a nice full sized 6' by 4' battlefield.
Keep these up really enjoyable to watch!
That should give an even chance for the numbers 1 to 10.

frag missile is S3 wound on 5's and 2+ save. and Thousand Sons have a 5+ invuln.
Whoa Duncs lost weight. He looks good!
You roll a nerve test if your team is BROKEN. until you get Broken, you do not roll nerve tests
More Battlebois or riot and TPing of yogstower!
Alex has such a brocrush on Ben. And this scares me because so do I
Boom! Battle bois'r back baby.
Yes they are back..!!!
Holy shit are mortal wounds and Psychic troops OP in this gamemode.
They models are soooooooo nice
Yay more Warhammer, I'm a happy boy now.
Shouldn't the thousand sons get a 2+ save against weapons with no ap?
2+ save against weapons with no AP and that deal 1 damage
Yup
Only the rubrics. They talk about it in the video. The Aspiring Sorcerer is not a rubric, he's an actual man inside the armour, not dust. And the tzaangor is, well, you know, an unarmored goatman.

You guys should do a big twighlight imperium play through
I agree with Duncan that is bull I mean the guy is running away and still can kill when they say he can’t do anything when he runs from charge

This was amazing please do more of these
I So miss this content.....
Yes. Welcome to the Dark Side. We have cookies.
Although the joke of: "the best computer in the warhammer universe is equal to a commodore 64" is quite funny, the adeptus mechanicus lore does show that every techpriest is a superconputer in his/her own right.
Space wolves are getting a codex soon, so don’t give your hopes up duncan. There not dead

YAY battleboys is back
Welcome back boys!!
If you guys don't do some Adeptus Titanicus games I won't be your friend any more.
"quick math" okay where was this during monopoly Lewis????
Just great guys... i feel if you try warloads new 2000AD game "SD" you find it great...
The herald of madness should have had a 5+ invulnerable, might have survived
Ouh Yeah battleboys !!!
You should try to add more narration and roleplay of the scenario and characters, otherwise it's just random dice rolling since there is no strategic depth.
MS so it’s a WH game between Duncan and Lewis, the two anti fun guys, then?
Duncan’s glowed up damn
YEEEEES YEEEEES YEEEEES
FOR THE EMPEROR!
We Want More Alex!
Woo, more 40k.
Yes! Killteam!!!
Harold of Madness!
Need Necromunda again!
MY GOD YES!
Please play Battletech the board game!!!!
When you do movement, don't you alternate movement model by model, player by player? Not one side then the other?
I'm pretty sure there are better computers than Amstrads or Raspberry Pies in the 40K universe... Take a Space Marines Targetting Bionics for example?
Just as planned.
Finally!
Welcome back! WH is ok, but i thought necromongers were more interesting, and had better story telling. I suspect people donate more for WH though.
Psybolt seems a bit broken
Rolf -Icefang-
